Jeff, I am really pleased that you devoted a reaction to Ksenia. She is absolutely a major star in the making, but the best thing about her is she seems not to know it. In person she is one of the most genuine and humble people you would ever meet, as mentioned by others. At meet and greats at Leonid and Friends concerts she is patient and appreciative to all her fans. She is truly a very special talent and more importantly a very special human being.

I hope this and her work with Leonid and Friends will get Ksenia the recognition she deserves. I'm a fan.

Ksenia may be a backing singer for Leonid and Friends but she is also a very popular and well-known solo singer in China and Russia.

She is an extremely talented as a singer and plays many instruments including piano, and speaks many languages and is devoted to Leonid.

Leonid and Friends are responsible for bringing back the beauty and sensuousness of music that was wiped out by profanity and vulgarity in the past years. Ksenia is so beautiful, talented and brilliant, yet she’s humble and friendly. I’ve seen them several times, and they have been working non-stop on their American tour to sold out concerts. They are back in Russia for the Winter, hopefully to return to the States.

Jeff, the K is silent in Ksenia. Leonid pronounces his name like Lay-o-nid. I hope you get to see them live on the 2024 tour. I will be supplying you with more requests that feature each one of these music masters. What do you call a band that is above and beyond a tribute band with multiple groups? Ksenia's vocals were recorded at Sound Cell Studios in Huntsville, AL by Doug Smith. That is the same studio that Brian McKnight recorded his vocals. Brandon Barnes and Brian McKnight wrote several songs together. I chose this song because it demonstrated more of Ksenia's versatility compared to the other songs she sang with Leonid and Friends.

Thank you, Ray, for sharing both the pronunciations of Ksenia and Leonid's names as well as background info on the studio, composer, etc. Such details help those of us, who aren't as aware as you and Jeff of these arcane mysteries and the goings-on behind the scenes in the past; help us enjoy a greater depth of understanding and appreciation of the underpinnings of these beautiful works and the brilliant individuals - past and present - who graced the music scene and our wonderful world for a time.

Your format of allowing the song under review to play uninterrupted but at the same time letting us enjoy your more studied, knowledgeable, professionally curated and cultivated opinion and reaction as a sidebar? Makes it all the more fun for us. Too often, review channels insist on making the image of the reviewer the biggest thing on the screen relegating the performance of the artist to a teesey, tiny window - and, interrupt ad nauseam. Not to mention - so many literally are mom and pop, boyfriend and girlfriend - collaborations that are comprised solely of them oohing and ahhing and or moving in a dancing manner to the music - they never heard before because they are only up-to-date on the latest - usually undistinguished - and indistinguishable from all the also "also ran" - opuses by Ye Empty Headed Rocker Band!

Her English has really improved from what I first heard. She is a very talented woman.

She sounds and looks even better in person. An angel living among us.

Jeff, have you had a chance to see the band her live in concert? i just got tickets for my third NYC #LeonidandFriends show in as many yearsand she is always a highlight of the evening. If not, you need to put a road trip together to the nearest show in 2024.

Now, THIS is what singing and music is all about and definitely qualifies as "That's Entertainment". Apropos what it's NOT about! I had a young fellow one time ask me. "Who's your favorite rapper?" I replied: "Is there a difference?"

Ksenia Buzina has looks and brains.. If right, she participated on the Voice of Russia and won it (off course). I had never heard of her until a couple of months ago (appeared on my YT suggestion feed) and with the tribute band "Leonid and Friends" (a lot of songs from the band Chicago), she's truely a great singer.

Hi Jeff: You should hear Ksenia's version of "Superstar." She was incredible. I lost my wife about 20 months ago and to hear that and this one brought back so many memories. I couldn't get through either song without going to pieces. The way Ksenia did both songs made me realize how lucky I am to have had my wife for the time I had her. I heard that she and Richard Carpenter had met and that he liked her version of "Superstar."

What do I love about this woman? She is the most captivating, beautiful creature I have ever seen, her voice, delivery, and diction is perfection, she is a piano virtuoso, she speaks and sings in seven languages, she has a degree in Economics and a degree in Law, and people who know her say she is shy, humble and and absolutely lovely person. She re-defines style and class. Am I in love? You betcha. If I think of anything else I'll get back to you 😁
