I started listening to stoicism in 2018-current day, when I got fired last April, it was devastating to me for I worked 6 years at this company. I gave myself a week vacation to gather my thoughts, then I put into practice stoicism, and it has helped me obtain a better career. Change is difficult but necessary for your growth. The quality of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts...thank you Marcus, Seneca

It's funny because people think the information in the book they are reading today. It's not new. I truly do not want to be like the world. Selfish, materialistic and if you cry in public its like you are from mars. Wth? It discusts me so much that this way of life has saved me. I can be me. Loving, human, happy for others success. The world is people who would just be jealous. I cheer others on. I know im different than a lot of people and thank you God. I do look for the good but I'm not blind. There's evil people out there... they are not of God. That's part of the problem in the world. I'm supposed to focus on me, but I'm not going to lie. Look around you. BTW, for anyone new. Step 0 = unaware that you are unaware. Step 1 =wake the hell up. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I've been a stoic person for all my life. I listen to people tell me about their meager achievements all the time and almost never tell people about my own achievements, and even if I did, people are far too narcasistic to care. My deeds go unsung all the time. I hear people use my words as if they synthesized the thought on their own I hear people go around telling multiple people the same stories about their burdens to get others to uplift them and embolden their resentments.

What is less known or moreso rejected by the modern world, is that these tenants and way of living were the epitome of what the people of KMT(so-called Egypt=HegPtah) lived and breathed for thousands upon thousands of years before the Gerka(greeks). The very place Seneca and the rest of the Stoics learned their way of life from and renamed and repackaged it as something new of their own.

Thank you very much for bringing these amazing principles of protecting our personality from exposing them to the public. As the ancient great stoics put it our personal pride and ego is destroying our precious world and it's creatures including the unique creature, human beings, slaughtering them all over the world in the recent time. As the teachers put it our mind is blinded by the principle of"my own self fame" ignoring all aspects of human and nature values which is so sad!!!

The word "fear" is not the way I embrace the concept of the unknown. I believe that if I am not 6 feet under at the end of end, I have opportunities to be grateful for another day. If you apply a true effort to the process of being able to achieve your fullest potential for being positive as well as productive. That is my way for self freedom, satisfaction, and happiness.

💥Encourages not discussing achievements, good deeds, resentment, or deep dreams, as these actions can lead to external judgment and negative emotions.❤
