@@rasmusbonde9280Nah it was reduced in 2015 after COP15 to 25m (it was 50m), the reason as I remember is because the police wrote out alot of tickets for jaywalking when they were actually supposed to perform security for politicians and the event, so it was reduced to avoid the same situation. I might be wrong about the reason though, but it was changed right after COP15. Now you can cross legally even in Copenhagen if you are roughly in the middle between two pedestrian crossings. Before in Copemhagen, pedestrian crossings were so plentiful that it was difficult to argue your way out of a ticket for it, now it's much easier, although it's rare to get caught doing it in my experience even if you are technically too close to the crossing.

I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, O Lord, show this also to thy servant: whether after death, as soon as every one of us yields up his soul, we shall be kept in rest until those times come when thou wilt renew the creation, or whether we shall be tormented at once?" 76 He answered me and said, "I will show you that also, but do not be associated with those who have shown scorn, nor number yourself among those who are tormented. 77 For you have a treasure of works laid up with the Most High; but it will not be shown to you until the last times. 78 Now, concerning death, the teaching is: When the decisive decree has gone forth from the Most High that a man shall die, as the spirit leaves the body to return again to him who gave it, first of all it adores the glory of the Most High. 79 And if it is one of those who have shown scorn and have not kept the way of the Most High, and who have despised his law, and who have hated those who fear the Most High -- 80 such spirits shall not enter into habitations, but shall immediately wander about in torments, ever grieving and sad, in seven ways. 81 The first way, because they have scorned the law of the Most High. 82 The second way, because they cannot now make a good repentance that they may live. 83 The third way, they shall see the reward laid up for those who have trusted the covenants of the Most High. 84 The fourth way, they shall consider the torment laid up for themselves in the last days. 85 The fifth way, they shall see how the habitations of the others are guarded by angels in profound quiet. 86 The sixth way, they shall see how some of them will pass over into torments. 87 The seventh way, which is worse than all the ways that have been mentioned, because they shall utterly waste away in confusion and be consumed with shame, and shall wither with fear at seeing the glory of the Most High before whom they sinned while they were alive, and before whom they are to be judged in the last times. 88 "Now this is the order of those who have kept the ways of the Most High, when they shall be separated from their mortal body. 89 During the time that they lived in it, they laboriously served the Most High, and withstood danger every hour, that they might keep the law of the Lawgiver perfectly. 90 Therefore this is the teaching concerning them: 91 First of all, they shall see with great joy the glory of him who receives them, for they shall have rest in seven orders. 92 The first order, because they have striven with great effort to overcome the evil thought which was formed with them, that it might not lead them astray from life into death. 93 The second order, because they see the perplexity in which the souls of the unrighteous wander, and the punishment that awaits them. 94 The third order, they see the witness which he who formed them bears concerning them, that while they were alive they kept the law which was given them in trust. 95 The fourth order, they understand the rest which they now enjoy, being gathered into their chambers and guarded by angels in profound quiet, and the glory which awaits them in the last days. 96 The fifth order, they rejoice that they have now escaped what is corruptible, and shall inherit what is to come; and besides they see the straits and toil from which they have been delivered, and the spacious liberty which they are to receive and enjoy in immortality. 97 The sixth order, when it is shown to them how their face is to shine like the sun, and how they are to be made like the light of the stars, being incorruptible from then on. 98 The seventh order, which is greater than all that have been mentioned, because they shall rejoice with boldness, and shall be confident without confusion, and shall be glad without fear, for they hasten to behold the face of him whom they served in life and from whom they are to receive their reward when glorified. 99 This is the order of the souls of the righteous, as henceforth is announced; and the aforesaid are the ways of torment which those who would not give heed shall suffer hereafter." 100 I answered and said, "Will time therefore be given to the souls, after they have been separated from the bodies, to see what you have described to me?" 101 He said to me, "They shall have freedom for seven days, so that during these seven days they may see the things of which you have been told, and afterwards they shall be gathered in their habitations." 102 I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, show further to me, thy servant, whether on the day of judgment the righteous will be able to intercede for the unrighteous or to entreat the Most High for them, 103 fathers for sons or sons for parents, brothers for brothers, relatives for their kinsmen, or friends for those who are most dear." 104 He answered me and said, "Since you have found favor in my sight, I will show you this also. The day of judgment is decisive and displays to all the seal of truth. Just as now a father does not send his son, or a son his father, or a master his servant, or a friend his dearest friend, to be ill or sleep or eat or be healed in his stead, 105 so no one shall ever pray for another on that day, neither shall any one lay a burden on another; for then every one shall bear his own righteousness and unrighteousness." .....2 Esdras 7:75 /////////////////////

It's great that in Denmark the cyclists actually follow the rules. This is not the case in Finland (or at least in Helsinki). Here about 95% of cyclists just do whatever they want and do not care about the law. For example cyclists generally have to give way to cars on a zebra crossing but most of them think they have same rights as pedestrians and they just go and the cars have to stop. Also it's very common to find some idiots riding their bikes on the pavement even though it's illegal if you are over 12. Even in London the cyclists obey the rules better.

It depends on how bored the cops are and how stupidly you jaywalk on an empty street they dont really care but trying to weave through moving cars they might just slap you with a fine
Been drunk with my bike many many times in Copenhagen and never got a ticket 😂 you just have to know your limit with the alcohol!! And am from Malmö / Sweden
I did all these things in one night. Don’t believe this bs.
been so many times in Denmark. I now love it even more then my home country The Netherlands. I love the people, food, nature, rest. But i have been more in the South west up to Northern region. With a little bit Ebeltoft region.

Are you Danish?
I am DenmarkBall Edit but Im Korean 🇩🇰❤️🇰🇷
I'm biking with a beer in my hand, never been stopped :)
As a middleaged dane I must admit I’ve ridden a bike drunk *many* times in my youth! 😅 (though not in Copenhagen. It was much safer out in the countryside :)
Thanks for the tips!
Any country that tolerates cyclists should be avoided
That’s why people usually travel southbound to enjoy their lives….
I live in Denmark, and I jaywalk pretty much every day... Never gotten a fine.
Backsound please🙏🙏🙏
I other countries you can actually loose your driverslicense if you drink and bike :)
In Finland drunks always drive a bike in summer 😂
Thanks for telling because my family is also going to live in denmark and me to
Completed this checklist
"jaywalking" is not a real word!!!
Biggest Citys in Denmark: 1:Copenhagen 2:Aarhus 3:Aalborg 4:Odense 5:Esbjerg 6:Randers
Jaywalking is never enforced, like never, and alot of people ride drunk home 😅 and they wont ask you to put your bike, they will ask you to walk with your bike home, and cyclists dont follow the traffic rules 😂 completely wrong video 😂 and yes i have been to denmark i was born in copenhagen 😂

true but it can be quite scary to ride a bike in Copenhagen during rush hours though, so I will recommend tourists to train when and where there aren't that many Danes on bikes
Im Dutch, ill be fine with biking (and drinking)
😂 I live here and I have done all these sins.
I live in denmark and i have been riding a bike since i was 4yo❤😂
Looks like a beautiful city.
I've been to Copenhagen, jaywalked, and lived to tell the tale! beautiful city!! If you come to Chicago, you will get a ticket if you DON'T jaywalk :)
Hi anna what up I never been to denmark maybe oneday when I move to canada I will earn money while I'm in the university
Tell me you are a tourist without telling me
People from usa always think they know eveything stick to your own country
People don't follow traffic rules because of fines. It's part of our culture. Police will not stop any small mistake they see. They have more important things on their schedule. But we still follow the rules ( well, most of the time😊)
I have don all of it. Godt fined one time riding wrong way on a one way street, with no light and drunk. Was onley fined about 500 dkk at the time for going the wrong way.
I am danish so yes
Denmark was more fun in the 80s and 90s.
I dont have momey to give the government
As a dan, i see this as an absolute win.😂😂😂😂
Great rules, I love it❤❤❤❤❤❤
1500 DKK is not too much. In Poland we have 2500 PLN which is more than 4000 DKK.
Im Danish and i bike-ride all the time drunk. Even drink at the same time, and smoking weed sometimes.. never got arrested for that. Police here dont give a fuc tbh
Well, if you are more then 30 meters away from a crosswalk, you will not get a fine. And to be honest, I've never seen a cop fine someone for jaywalking. Not saying it's not happening! XD
I live in Copenhagen. It can be dangerous to bike there for tourists if you don’t ask a Dane how to do it
None of this is ever taken seriously. Not even the police care. Well except if it causes trouble and an officer happen to see it while being bored.
In Seal Beach, California, drunk on a bike will get you a drunk driving, and you may get jail time.
Never ever say bo'o'oh'wo'ah in denmark
I ride a bike drunk a lot :)
So beautiful
Jaywalk is nearly as expensive as a Cinnamon Croissant and a Coffee in a local Café. 😮
Denmark is my Home country ofc i would be there😂😂
Bruh jaywalking is done by EVERY Dane
This is true trust i know i have been there for 10 years
My biological father is danish 🇩🇰 and he (Johnathan Gallagher) is in prison for threatening to M3rd3r some one
I have only once had a problem riding a bike while drunk in Denmark. I couldn't get on the bike due to being too drunk... Four bottles of wine can lead to that problem. Must be 20 years ago now. Getting that drunk is for youngsters.

yeaaa. i've jaywalked ever since i was old enough to not hold hands whenever crossing the road, it's just faster honestly, and if you don't see a car? then what harm does it do, that one is cap i'd say. but the rest is true for sure, oh and don't walk on the bike lanes, you will die
Jay walking is my middle name ( Boston )
I am from denmark
These are the small things police don't care in every country unless you are endangering other. Not worth wasting time for paper work.
It’s not a law in sweden. So we jaywalk
I live in denmark
don't be like the locals, follow the rules. It help with preventing hospital visits caused by incompitent locals behind wheels
