〰️〰️ ABOUT〰️〰️

Before adopting hobby of being a serial travel vlogger I was working within International Sales for more than 10 years which allowed me to travel to more than 60 countries in the world.

I lived in 7 countries: the UK, Italy, Norway, Switzerland, Israel, Malta and Russia and speak 3 languages: English, Russian and Italian. Sometimes I do understand Norwegian and Hebrew ☺️

Currently I live between London, Paris, Rome and Kongsberg (Norway)

True about leggings, this is also the case in Japan. At home I am often in pajama pants and a t shirt but I always step it up when I travel. There is so much comfortable but stylish travel clothing its never been an issue. I always have a look at what locals seem to be wearing before I go. The big question is does one travel to experience other cultures or to navel gaze in a different setting than their living room? Lastly, phones indeed work great for quality pictures, but the Instagram traveling to get the same pics as 10,000 other people is really limiting to what you go see and tough on the locals in many such places.

Isn´t it victim blaming to tell tourists, its their fault if they get pick pocketed or robbed, because they look like tourists? Why not to blame the criminals or the authorities that ignore the problem ? How can I hide being a tourist when I`m nothern European, with pale skin and 20 cm taller than Italians? Sorry, I forgot: Italians are the European standard for shape and clothing in all 27 countries of the EU... . But astoningishly you´ll always be recognized as Italian tourist if you come to the Oktoberfest in Munich, wearing traditional bavarian costumes or not. 😁

@@shawnbell6392 The Clip is generalized for Europe and not for Rome. It is simply an advertisement für companies she ist linked to, hidden as tips for tourists, but no solution for tourists not to be pick pocketed. Useful tips would be: Leave important things in your hotel safe. Always carry money, credit cards, papers and other valuables close to your body (chest pouch or special belts). Use closed inner pockets. Under no circumstances should wallets, valuables and cell phones be kept in outside pockets. Handbags and shoulder bags are not safe: carry them with the clasp towards the body and in front of the stomach, but they may also be cut open with a knife. Don`t think you are not recognizable as a tourist.

I'm Italian from Rome and I don't understand why are you giving advices on Italian diet or what to do, not to do etc..being a foreign here. Let me tell you you're basically running a channel on Italy but you're wrong 80% of the times I watch your shorts, it's full of stereotypes and mislead info, maybe you should talk about your country, maybe it'd be better no?

    1. Advice ** you can’t use this word in plural - brush up your English 😉 2. I’ve got Italian passport and I live in Rome - don’t be jealous love, you will be fine too 😊 3. Start your own KZread channel maybe ? 😉 or you don’t have guts ? 😉 But in this case you can finally speak about anything you want and maybe some people will even like it 🙂 I wish you all the best darling 🤗 PS you are cute ☺️ no need to be toxic 😉

Italian here, yes she is 100% right. Milan went down the drain in the last 10 years thanks to the left wing major that keep refusing to take actions against gang violence because it would be racist. She is not even exagerating the thing, i clearly sayd to an ukrainian woman with his little daughter to stay inside the airport till 5am, then take the one hour bus ride to the central station (wich opens at 6) and take theyr train at 6,20 AM. She was pretty and i had a bad feeling about a young mother and doughter alone in a dangerous zone at night.

Penso di essere una drogata della scarpetta, ce l'ho nel DNA 😂 But yeah we might be a little weirdos. As for pizza, actually you can ask to cut it but if they do is a favor, but for take away pizza they really do it more gladly. Actually they always do so many pizzas and they get crazy cutting it too, it's the only reason why they told you no (but they could be kind for a stranger, damn.)

This "don't look like a tourist" paranoia is complete trash. Do you genuinely think Spanish blend right in in Italy because they're European too? Or Italians don't stick out as tourists in Germany? That said, trying to not look like a tourist is a look that ironically brands you as a tourist at this point. Europeans dress largely the same as Americans at this point. If you really want to not look like a tourist, just pack very lightly in the clothing department and find a Primark when you land. It's cheap and that's what the locals will be wearing. I've got two button down shirts from Primark that are five years old at this point and I still wear them regularly

I am an American that has lived in France for a few years now and I do agree with what you are saying. However the ball cap, at least in France, is very popular, I've seen whole French families wearing them. In the countryside, in the cities and even Paris the American style ball cap is everywhere these days. The most popular is the New York Yankees cap, I've seen more of theses being worn in France than in America, followed by either Raiders cap and Los Angeles sports teams caps. Also, hoodies, sneakers, T-shirts and even camo shirts and pants are quite popular. Of course in major cities people do dress more formal and stylish but that is the case in most cities around the world even in America.

Truly useful tips that every tourist should comply with. Why there are still tourists who don't comply to that is beyond me. Those Gucci shoes must be extremely comfortable, since you used them even for hiking! Seriously!? They are even white ones! Excellent purchase then. Revolut is getting bigger even here in Italy.

Thank you so much indeed ☺️🤗❤️ it’s just really not safe these days to ‘scream ‘ with your outfit ‘I’m a tourist’ . It’s much safer to blend in 🙂 Those white trainers are shockers!! I’m really impressed that they are this good 🤣 Ok.. I bought them living in London in the ‘show off’ era of my life back in 2018 🤭 but since then they’ve been through hell and heaven with me 😁 shockingly very good investment! I didn’t buy any trainers since 2018 😁
