Never Do Push Ups Like This - Avoid These 4 Mistakes
While push ups are a basic bodyweight move, I think they are one we often take for granted.

100% thank you. I have ‘golfers elbow’ and thought pushups were impossible to do since it hurts my elbow like a rubber band is going to snap. But when you said to keep your hands flat and don’t rock out (a previous video), I noticed I did that. I corrected it yesterday and experienced zero pain in my elbow. 👍

No one has EVER been this detailed it absolutely appreciated and needed, finally someone recorded from above to ACTUALLY see what our hand placement should be. I get so frustrated with not having the security in my form to FOCUS on the execution of the move and normally just uncomfortable and to weak to lift.

I’ve watched loads of videos on press-up form. I’m 51 and do reps of 40-30-20-10 for a neat 100. Seems to be keeping an older man in ok shape, but this video was very informative re form, far better than the usual 20yr old lads trying to make out how smashing they are. Thanks for the video. I’ve subscribed. Good luck for future 😁

Very detailed video Cori. I realised that I had been rocking my hands a bit. Is this the reason why I don't feel much tension on my chest? I feel it more on my triceps and shoulders. And do we need to stop just before our chest touches the ground or slightly touch the ground? What would be the most efficient full range of motion in this case?

I wasn't able to do a push-up for the past 20 years. I knew that I had my form correct when everything hurt like hell for the first time! 🤣 happily to say after a few days of of planking and 45° back extensions, I was able to bust out ten by the end of that first week.🏆💯 now (3 months later) I can crank out at least 30, but it still hurts like hell! hopefully by next year I can be at 100.
