Ya rock man!!..I'm 52..almost gave up on the guitar..this changed my my mind...thank you!
hands down the best version of this tune I have heard. Great tone and rhythm and your vibrato is fantastic. And the fact that you were enjoying yourself come through loud and clear.

Actually..Joe Cocker did this song the very best..fact
Thank you man dig all you have done for us guitarists who been playing shit wrong for years.
Great job...love it
This is SO good! I love it when you pull up a tasty oldie, such a great song! Thanks :)
I was in fifth grade when that album came out, now I feel like an old geezer.
damn this is a good song.....everything from the 70s was fantastic! : )
dude - made my day (again). 3DN was my first real concert experience. Great tunes. many thanks!
Fantastic, thank you !
Good job! Couldn't help but notice the Red Wings jersey - Home team for me!
This is so good. Wish I could forage on thru all of it. Be happy to get the main parts down to be honest.
Can always tell when you’re enjoying yourself. You were into that one and having fun with it!
Nicely done!!!.. it's the greatest feeling!!!
Love it, Thanks!
Helllllll yeah dude Legit just wanted to see a random KZread guitarist play this and stumbled onto your video here. You've got great technique man, hope you're still playing!!
Thanks from Colorado.
James, your always introducing me to new music..I wasn't familiar with this song, but I really like it . Glad u don't take requests, might have never heard this one. Thanks James
Super cool song. Well done as usual...
My first rock concert...long beach california....new years eve 1969
I was just singing this the other day. My Mom loved this song. Thanks!

TypicalGirls Elvis did a pretty good version on the '72 tour.
Truly great, thanks.
Allsup is a very underrated guitar player with very tasty solos. 3DN had such a great feel for choosing great songs, turning them into hits, with their own arrangements. Love their song "Out in the Country". Thank you for another great lesson JJ! You make hard songs look easy.
Great job as usual. Nice Red Wings shirt.
Thx for posting bro,nice style.
I’m used to listening to Elvis’s version, which I love. I also love this. Would have liked to see your face too. However, I am posting this onto one of my music groups ❣️
Thank-you. Nice cover,...and straight to the point!
Great job on a great song
Thank you for this amazing performance; I am slowly learning some of this although no where near your talent.
I'm taking private guitar lessons; should would love to see myself playing this piece of music. I could listen to you all day and listen to this.
You nailed it bro!!! Just love it!!! Keep rocking, when I die this is the second song I want played at my funeral, right after David bowie's ashes to ashes!!! 😎😎😎😎😜😜😇😇👼👼🌟🌟🤩
Fantastic James!! I'm a piano player, and Ive been working on this one (and recently been performing it live). Thank you! You really picked up on the "essence" of the song here. Namaste brother.
Much respect for thr jersey. #LGRW
love your videos .....now I realize how poorly have been playing this song all these years. Going to have to step up my game. Thx for all your work
This is so damn good!
Tear it up dude...!!!!
So great
Nice solo.. Nice phrasing and tone in the solo..!
looks like you were enjoying that one, must have been the winged wheel that got you motoring. saw them live here on sunday, great game, great tune. thanks
Awesome song selection and better yet, your execution on the Guitfiddle!
Thanks. This solo sounds easier then it is. I go off the same studio cut you use. Whatever overdrive he's using kind of confuses the dyads for me. Anyway you are at least 95% on target without doubt and gave me a road map to use. Now I see the notes and I'm gonna try and make it less vertical to play if possible.
Excellent!
Clearly you are someone that loves to play; nice job! And thanks.
Great job James.
Positive vibrations bro. Very cool stuff.
Wow! Great!
Awesome
So solid!
James, We are both starting to show our age with the grey hair in our beards. As always A GREAT VIDEO/LESSON. THANKS MAN
Masterful
Fantastic. You did a great cover. Where can we get your tabs
I've been watching, jamming and learning from your videos for a couple years now... But I've always wondered if you played in a band? Please tell me you rock out live too!
Written by none other than Hoyt Axton...
Could you please do a lesson on this song? I've learned a lot from your videos and I thank you for your skill and efforts...great job sir
Nailed it.
Nice little 🎸 solo 👌
Best version I've heard of the song, do you do lessons on line and share tabs for the songs?
@jamesjames9275

I play by ear, I don’t know anything about tabs.
xcellent breakdown!
Nice work!!! 🇺🇸✌️
A question, other than developing one's ear, which I seem to have a genetic deficiency for, what would you list as the top 3 skills to develop as a guitar player/band member?
Five gold stars!
Very nice cover, you really nailed this one! PLEASE do a lesson on the very same way you are playing this song. THANKS!
In the zone!
I love you!
Nice! I notice that you play the root 5 B chord like I do, using your pinky for the short bar. Where did you learn to do that? I learned to do it when I saw a picture of Jimmy Page doing it.

I do the same thing but didn’t learn it from anyone. It just felt better for me this way. I saw everyone else using the ring finger but that was so uncomfortable for me. Unfortunately I have small hands so pinky works better for me.
some good RnR
James, you are correct. You don't owe me shit. lol. But it comes up when you search for How to play. By the way, Well done.
You look like you’re really enjoying that one.
Thank you for this one, I had a very difficult time trying to figure it out, cannot see your expressions, was it fun to play?

I love hitting those rhythm licks. It's an overplayed version of what Allsup was actually playing, but I can't resist.

Do I owe that to you? How about you actually sit down with your guitar and put in the time yourself? I don’t work for you.
I loved the PT version, but this one has even more bite. Cheers!
