Hi friends, I'm using it almost 3 months now. My skin are getting better than before. Just reminder, always wear sunscreen if you use exfoliating ingredient in a product. They increase skin sensitivity when exposed to sun. Do not use toner without moisturizer. Shake the serum well before use as it contain two layer oil & water..if not you actually apply the oil only. Always do patch test and stop using if reaction occured, find other suitable product. Our skin is unique on its own. Apparently my skin can stand all mild exfoliating ingredient in this set. If before this you have experienced burning skin with just mild exfoliating ingredient, kindly consider to use red tea tree set from somebymi which is softer for hypersensitive skin. @@jismapark4203 I'm sorry you had to experience that.. after using it my skin is brighter, but it get more red due to too much exfoliation. So I gradually change to snail truecica set after finish any tea tree product. I can never go back after try the snail set as it repairing scar as much as new acne. For my case, my acne come from oily skin, which also means lack of moisture. So by consistently applying moisturised product, my skin produce less oil.

Hi kev.! Im a beauty consultant just want to share my thoughts on this products. Most of people with dry, sensitive and combination skin do not work well with these product range. Since AHA BHA acid works to remove dead cell on the skin, it is not advisable to use every especially AHA acid. These products may work for people with oily skin but suggested only for once in a week and alternately use with different product to avoid the skin to be sensitive skin. I have a customer with combination skin who comes to me after her skin started getting tiny bumps, itchiness on her face. When we go through her skin care history turns out she is using some by me cleanser, alternately and at one time she’s using it 2/3 days back to back. So yeah, these products definitely nit suitable for people with dry, sensitive or combination skin. Since it makes your skin dry. Moisturizer is always needed but it is better to avoid using some by me if your skin type is one of those 3 mentioned skin type 🥰

@@jatribepari4996 hello☺️ for super oily skin this products is quite safe to be used however suggested to alternately use it cause chemical exfoliating may have tendency to make your skin sensitive. So recommended to alternately use AHA BHA toner with serum and do not forget to moisturize your skin. Fungal acne may trigger due to excessive oil on our face so we need to counter that. Use product that is non comedogenic and oil free. Some by me may be suitable for your skin as it have AHA BHA to treat fungal acne BUT I strongly suggest to try it out and see the result first cause a strong chemical exfoliant may have tendency to further irritates fungal acne (if you are having a breakouts)

I watched all the reviews on this product! And finally someone reviewed it how I went through it. The serum is terrible I have a dry skin I never get pimples I got 5 dark pimples in a week 🙃 I’m in the 3rd week and they left marks and breakouts. so you can imagine the feeling! Still using the soup and the cream, it’s not harming my skin nor helping it tbh. Hopefully the pimples will go away soon. I think this proves that not everything works for everyone :) I use just the toner from the line and recently bought their miracle soap for my backne. As someone who used a loooot of different products for 15+ years for acne, I can honestly say that combining products with active ingredients with the ones that help repair your skin works best, because using a line with only actives leads to dry, sensitive skin with breakouts and using only healing products does not make the problem go away. It took me years to find that balance: gentle cleanser, active toner, a good serum and a moisturizer for oily skin and I use pimple patches when I get inflamed acne spots. The problem with oily and acne prone skin is how easily you can strip your skin from the natural oils with all the cleansing and purifying agents and it over compensates the production of oils leaving you with surface dry, clogged and deep oily skin. These products are probably fine, but I would never use them together because of all the reasons you mentioned in your video - it's just too much. I learned that the harder way xD I do recommend their toner, it does take a while to notice a difference, but it's good and did wonders for me. But I personally would never again use a moisturizer with active ingredients. Moisturizer should be a step for healing and protecting your skin. Not to mention if you use that kind of cream and go in the sun without a sunscreen it's the worst thing you can do for your face. And I'm not saying that because I'm under the influence of the sunscreen bandwagon, but because I have experienced the consequences as a teen. I had treatments with different types of acid and used that same (very expensive) brand's products and no one ever told me I should not go in the sun without protection. Let's just say I had scars from burns for quite a while. That led me refusing to use any type of acid for years, because I was scared it would happen again. Now I know that, for me, a good balance in products is the best, and my skin has never been better in the last 15+ years :)

@@analuciadiezduque888 Morning: 30 day miracle toner, iuink black snail serum, a cheap eye cream (because I like the feel, but they aren't really necessary), moisturizer which shall not be named at this moment because I'm still searching for one I like and Purrito unscented sunscreen (when there is actually sun, it's winter and really cloudy for months here). Night: the same toner, serum and eye cream and Sulwhasoo night mask. 2-3 times a week I use 30 day miracle soap on my face and in the shower to help with my backne (I cut the soap into smaller pieces for hygiene and practical reasons). You'll notice I don't use a face wash - I have never been able to incorporate one in my routine: they just collect dust on my shelf. I don't wear make-up on a daily basis and when I do I just use a cleansing balm and the 30 day miracle soap for a double cleanse. When I do get pimples I use cosrx pimple patches overnight, or I wear them to work if it's a big inflammation. Hope this helps :D

Can you please help me. I am using the toner since December 12, 2023 . I never had any kind of bumps or white heads. But now my face is full of bumps and white heads. Should I give up? Guys let me speak from my experience , i have used the small kit of some by mi products and i waited for a month to see the results but it really didn’t work for me honestly. I have an oily sensitive skin btw. After taking a break from it, i decided to use the toner alone again, not realizing that it has exfoliating property, i use it everyday and my skin is purging,,, the redness just won’t fade so i think its best to just avoid the aha bha pha combined products for oily sensitive skin.

you're not supposed to use it everyday, especially if it’s your first time to use acids.

Sooooo I think the common denominator for those of us that broke out from this line is that we used more than one product together. I've used the toner for months and like it. I then stopped the toner (I was just lazy) and used the cream and liked it also. Then last week I decided for whatever bright reason to use the toner and then the cream together (mind you I have clear skin but was using it for pore care really) and within 3 days I went from having 2 odd deep cystic like spots (which I never get) to similar spots all over my face and a couple on my neck. I thought maybe my hormones were out of whack or something but then came across this video and literally facepalmed. Just use the products separately and see how they work! Definitely baby your skin before retrying the products

Finally!!! Finally!!! I am happy that someone doesn't like it. When people recommend it and say its a holy grail, I thought I was hallucinating. It caused a lot of skin problems for me and it became so oily for my skin. I also thought it was purging, but it became worse and worse. I had to buy acne terminator to clear my skin which was supposedly be done by this line. You have no idea how happy I am to see this video.

Me too!! It was so bad but I stuck with it and my skin cleared up so much. Like I’ve never had such clear skin. And I only use the face wash.

All of them have worked wonders for me. I went through a purging phase that I personally think a lot of people quit during because they think it happens right away and lasts for 2 weeks but everyone is different. The purging ( light purge ) happened for me 3 weeks after I started using the product ( between this time my skin looked great ) and I stuck with it and it's genuinely been great for my skin. I love the toner the most, I don't mind the serum and I love the cream also! I wasn't sure if this would work for me but it's genuinely helped to really purge my skin of impurities, rid of / lighten my acne scars, keep my breakouts away and also improved the texture of my skin. Because the serum is a bit much for me and my oily skin, I use it every other day instead of every day and that works MUCH better for me. Sometimes you just have to try what works. I also use the yuja niacin serum with this routine. I've noticed people with OILY skin like myself have more success with these products.

It’s okay if you break out at first. It means it works Bc they’re exfoliating. After two weeks they will fade away. Ofc in a month if you still break out and other break outs doesn’t get better, stop using it. But give a chance for a month

Hi, new subscriber here! Have tried this set as well. It was weird for me. It initially purged my skin for a week then left my skin dewy and blemish-free. However, my face got really sensitive. Even with sunscreen on, I got really sunburnt. After my purging-then-dewy week, I also developed breakouts. And it never subsided, so it left me blemished and sunburnt :(

In my experience, I only used the toner and serum as a routine, I loved the toner but not the serum, I started to get acne, I gave up the serum and started using the toner with another brand's serum and the result was perfect, I came back again to use the miracle sérum and again got pimples. The serum was the problem for me.

I bought the regular sized ones and am now regretting it lol. I should've bought the travel set instead. I love the smell of tea tree though. I got the Bye Bye Blackheads and the suncream as well~ I liked them. I got pimples at the same places too, in my jaw line. I thought I was purging but I've used it for about 2 months HAHAHA I gave up last week. 😩

I guess this solved my mystery of acne popping out on my jawline. I was initially just using the toner and tea tree oil and it works. So I got the whole range and now I'm having random break outs. I guess I shall just keep to what's work for me.

I mean, kinda agree with you there Kev. For me, I would always look at the ingredient list before buying any skincare products as I do have quite the oily type of skin at the T zone and quite the sensitive skin with a little bit of acne proneness. Well, I'm the picky type per say, but for the wellbeing of everyone here, I would just share the experience from what I've collected over the years of trying skincare products lmao. For anyone who wants to know what products you can most likely use and not cause any acne or any skin problem, I would recommend using the toner and the miracle cream. The products such as the yuja bubble foaming cleanser does actually help with my blemishes and acne too, I do recommend that since it worked for me. I hope you guys find my comment helpful!

duuuuude, really. i just switched to a few some by mi products. first, i bought the bye bye blackhead. but then it made my skin dry and a few pimple appeared. then i bought the miracle cream. after two days of usage, there are a lot of tiny acne all over my face and my skin isn’t smooth anymore!! when i touch my skin, i can literally feel the bumps on my skin, especially my cheek! 😭

Everytime i use the product my face is very itchy and make my whole face red and hot

Ive been using it for a long time and I can say for me its effective. EXCEPT the serum- Because I have combination skin. It kind of build up the oil more on my skin and clogged pores even more so I tried using the other products with another peeling lotion from a different brand. I breakout with the slightliest dirt and dust also had allergy rashes so I use masks even before covid. I use the cleansing foam, the toner and the bye bye blemish which is not part of the series but I use it along with the acne series for the face and then the bar on my body- because since its not really that foamy, its kind of too strong for my face so I use it for my body instead. Try it without the serum next time and then choose a mild peeling lotion- then nivea for moisture lol - weird combination of products but its surprisingly working for my sensitive skin

These products saved my life. Probably you have to find products that are actually meant for your face. Example these miracle lines are for people with oily and acne skin as well as have active acne. Maybe someone with no acne should not try these as it might make it worse. They have many other options :D

same. i got the face wash and it helped my face so much. i have oily skin and pimples which were really bad. not they are tiny and barely there. i got the moisturizer (not from SOS kit) and i purged for the first 6 days. i was worried it wouldn’t work. by the time I finished the cream, my face was clear!! i ran out and im using cetaphil now but I’m gonna buy it again haha!!

I think, It's suitable for oily acni prone skin

I use the trial kit and it works wonder on my skin ( combination type). I use this everyday morning&night and no purging. Pimples start to fade away especially on my chin. Then, I bought all in normal size and after use it for almost 7 months I feel like my face is less oily and only get a pimple when period. To those who have dry and sensitive skin try to avoid this product line as it contain AHA/BHA which is an exfoliate agents.

Oh Me Idk why I have some acne on my forehead I've never had this and sometimes I have other pimples but I wonder if it's because it cleanses my skin or if it's because it's not good but I bought another range - the 30 day range.

I have been using this for a couple of weeks now. Only using it every other night. First few nights of using it it broke me out a little bit which I consider as the “purging state”. I kept using it alternately with The Ordinary Glycolic Acid toner. Like i said i had a bit of purging so I was really disappointed (but it really is a part of the whole process of exfoliation). Now the break outs are getting less. I only get a breakout during that time of the month anyway. I’m starting to see a bit of improvement. I’m yet to decide whether or not I’m re-purchasing. I still prefer the Glycolic from The Ordinary but it can be too strong so I was looking for something milder to use, hence I tried this one. My advice is to be a little more patient with it. Obviously if the purging lasts for more than a month then u might be allergic or reacting badly to it.

oh my gosh yes !! my cheeks, and chin is full of big red cystic pimples / acne after using this kit. unfortunately it ruined my clear skin and now i’ll have to consult to a dermatologist 😭😭😭😭

Try April Skin. I have used it for 3 yrs now. If you are very diligent to use it AM and PM, you will see the results within 2 weeks. Even one week , you will start seeing it. Especially if you are not stingy on using the serums onto your face and neck. Makes a huge difference

I have oily acne prone skin, and have acne on my chin that won't go away no matter what products I use. Then I tried this last week in hope to clear out my chin, only to get my clear forehead bursting whiteheads. I've been using the mild cosrx aha bha clarifying treatment toner and innisfree bija trouble skin daily, and never got any purging on my forehead until i use some by mi's ac sos kit. Idk what's wrong, but definitely they are not for everyday use even when their sales person said otherwise. I thought they are mild exfoliating products? Is it because of the high tea tree concentration??? And oh, I am not a fan of that cleanser too. Basic calming cleanser is the best!

So I am not alone! I have got only the moisturiser for this and been applying to my face and acnes and it caused the acne to spread further to other parts of the face and cause small bumbs to appear with redness. Now I only use a very small amount like a dot only on the acne and blemish area without spreading all over my face, this means I'm not able to hydrate or moisturise other parts of the face with same product. Also have to use it at night time as my skin is more sensitive during daylight with this product Its been almost 4 weeks of usage now and I haven't seen any reduction in my acnes.

Coming here if I was the only crazy one that thought the serum was shit I WASNT. I used it only sometimes and used it before going back to school as my exfoliant of the week 💀 literally had the worst breakout literally like especially in one of my cheeks. My skin was starting to be really clear and now it’s like I’m starting at the starting point all over again. I was literally not feeling good at all because those breakouts were really big and noticeable all over my face

Hey there! Is it getting better now or still purging? It may purge for quite a while...mine was more than a month. If you feel it's getting worse you should stop using it and try something calmer instead. Hope it helps!

On my country the price of some by mi are expensive and it really got worse my acne. I have maskne and now I am taking medication pills to reduce it. I have alot of dark spot and acne marks on my cheeks. So hard to deal with this when seeing people staring at you. I even hate to go outside my house but now I'm doing better. It is also important that you take vitamins everyday and healthy eating. As much as possible more fruits and vegetables on your plate.

I just started using it and there's no result yet. For me, it hard to find the right skincare product to use Cuz my face is really sensitive. sometimes I do afraid to change my old skincare produce to the new one. There are too many of them.

I love the toner because it minimize my pores but watching your vid I remembered my face becomes dry after using the toner and the moisturiser.

I used full size of this range last year, for 3 months ++. Tbh they helped a lot! Firstly, we should understand the ingredients. I do some research before use them & i summarized as below AHA - exfoliate skin, upper skin only BHA - act as an agent/catalyst to bring out the acne faster from inner skin & reduce blackhead First month, i called this purging. Acnes came out mostly at area of they usually appeared. When acne pop, clean it with tea tree oil, let it absorb for a few seconds, remove excess then put acne patches. A lot of acne bcs BHA bring them out of the skin faster than normal. Dont forget to use sunscreen bcs those acid will burn the skin 2nd month, still experience purging, just follow the steps above. End of the month, less acne came out & just small size of acne 3rd month, acne healed day by day then no more acne. i keep used the products until its over. At the same time, i focused on reduce the acne scar. I used cosrx AHA , cosrx BHA After that, no acne on my face, sometime appears during menstrual cycle bcs of hormone but they just small. Besides, i add cosrx snail mucin for soothing & fast skin recovery It has been more than a year, they still come out but rarely happens. FYI, i finished 5 boxes of acne patches for the whole 3 months, image how many acne came out! They worked for me, some may be sensitive. Better to check the ingredients before use

Hey there I have been using this for like 12 days now I had fungal acne that's why I bought the toner & Benton aloevera & propolis gel..I cleanse my face with CeraVe foaming face wash it's good I have been using it for a while but I just started using the toner & the gel..I think toner is the one what's making me break out first week wasn't that bad but last 2 days & even now it's just getting worse somehow I never really had that much of a break out.. Hey there! Perhaps it could be purging for a start. As the dirt is surfacing to the top, it appears as purging. However, monitor for a few weeks and if it doesn't stop then it could be a breakout where your skin is not compatible with the product. From there, use mild products to calm your skin down, such as products with Centella Asiatica. For me I used cetaphil to calm it down and it worked. Hope this helps!

It's only been 3 days since I started using the trial 30 days kit. I didn't really check or research if it had a disadvantage all I know was it is good for ur skin, welp I guess it's too good to be true. 3 days and I already had redness on my skin. I was panicking about how am I supposed to stop it and it wasn't just pure redness. I have a combination skin. Suffered from adult acne and after cutting dairy from my life it vanished. I haven’t been getting any acne for almost a year now and in order to help with my previous acne scars I wanted to try these products since it helps to peel off the skin layer. I have used serum and the moisturizer 4 times a week for one month and now my acne is back. Worse than before. I don’t know it’s purging or not I am done with somebyme products. 😅

You have to shake the serum in order to mix it all together.

It might help to wear sunscreen daily following the use of a product like this with active ingredients that could make your skin sun sensitive. The product could also be very strong.

Omg, yes very true, we tried this product, and it end with a lot of pimples.. We're not recommending this product, a waste of money, 😢😢😢

totally agreed. been using it a month but it went so bad on my skin .

I bought the toner about a year ago until I ditched it because it did makes my skin way too dry and I had the worst breakouts EVER (I used it every single day like the viral video. HAHA) while I was only use it for less than 2 weeks. I think about few months after, I used the product again and only use it once in 3-4 days (like any other exfoliator) and it works wonder on my skin until today. I guess this whole range really not suitable for daily use and they marketed wrongly (sadly). And for me you should use any other super hydrating toner / moisturiser if you want to use this ahabha toner. Their ingredients list for this range are quite good (except for the serum).

Can a 14 years old use this? I'm 14 and i'm planning to buy this. I got breakout this quarantine and I have tried different products but none of them really works. My skin type is acne-prone and i think normal? (There is a time where my face is oily but not too oily there is also a time where there is a small part of my face that is dry. I don't think i'm combination tho)

I've tried the whole product before and I've got the same skin reaction and got the same thought that the product might have done some purging. But after 6 weeks my skin still "purging" and produce red rashes all over my face that I had decided to stop. I think the miracle toner might do wonders but not the whole product.

I do not like their serum.. it causes more breakout.. but i use this whole range and i have kind of oily indian skin and it works for me really well. My whole face is cleared up and now i have no pimple and no marks . So for indian kind of skin it really works.

Oh no same. I don't usually get pimples around my jaw area and now i have alot. I'll be stopping now.

I only bought the serum from this range. I had SOME hopes, cause I had a lot of breakouts and thought this would do some sort of healing atleast. Instead I got those red painful acnes and my skin got oilier. I even took James Welsh' tip and applied like a dot of the serum all over my face. Saw no change at all. Instead the Snail Truecica line was what helped me get rid of acne and prevent excessive oiliness. I'm thankful SOME BY MI does these kits, cause they have a lot of products that are a huge miss, and then some that are actually pretty good. Trusting their word or claims won't help, cause they've made some very ridiculous claims and adverts (like the one with how their Snail Truecica serum helps deep pitted acne scarring and texture which even chemical peels or dermarolling isn't even fully healing in a lot of cases).

I had a very bad experience with their aha.bha.pha toner I loved what it did to my skin texture but it broke me out bad! N I realized it was the culprit once I took a break from it.

I got allergies with this product i just used it twice now i suffer for itchy and swollen face and neck i couldn't even go to work for me to go for a check up. 😭😭

Omg bruh it same for me, but be patient tho it takes 1 month to 6 week

Same for me.. I've been purging 2 months later so I think it's time to go back to Cetaphil... I developed mascne too on both cheeks!

@@nonahim6421 I recommend tretinoin if your acne needs intense treatment. Retinol is milder than tretinoin and the effects of retinol is slower compare to tretinoin. Both are still good for acne treatment and anti aging. Hope this helps

You can also switch to retinol if you think that your skin needs a break from tretinoin if you think that your skin becomes more sensitive after applying tretinoin everynight

the cream turned my face very red.might be because i have damaged skin barrier?

I've used the serum and the cream, while the cream was amazing, I hated the serum. The serum always breaks me out, like really bad, it takes like two days and the hard work used in fighting my acne prone oily skin goes to waste... I've used 70% of the bottle but I can't be bothered to finish it... It's awful. The cream on the other hand is great, it definitely doesn't break me out and it does help with soothing my swollen spots. But it doesn't moisturise like i need it to do .. yk

You could possibly be allergic to something in the products unfortunately. I also have sensitive skin. I purchased the red tea tree toner and cream. Hope it goes well! That one is supposedly more gentle than this version. Thanks so much for sharing your honest personal experience! Oh also, be sure to use a good moisturizer after using the cetaphil cleanser because it can over strip sometimes when used daily. ( I know because my boyfriends uses it aha, and because of the SLS in it)

@@dilinitharuka539 Yeah I agree, I have combination skin and Cetaphil (dark blue cap) freaking strips my face and even irritates my eyes, although the packaging say it doesn't. Even Simple Refreshing Facial Wash was too stripping for me and I didnt like the gel texture because I can't tell if its fully washed off cause its so thick so I think I end up rubbing my face more which can cause sensitive skin

You should shake the serum before use because itis two layer oil and water

I use this ! First i breakout ,,,then after some months,, next year it's suits mee,,,,,,, great work ,,,

Me too.It really make my skin 'very bad'. But I use again Some by Mi - "Snail serum". I highly recommended for snail serum. It helps me look better than before. DON'T CHOOSE GREEN ONE ,CHOOSE THE RED ONE

I used the toner before and I really love it. So I tried using it again but with the serum and oh boy I got bad break outs on my edges, chin and forehead :( I rarely had ones! Idk if this is purging but I kinda want to stop using it or should I wait for a few weeks. Maybe my skin will adapt to it?

Wait, I'm going through the same exact breakout you just described. I don't know what to do to fix it :( I'm currently alternating products including the cerave SA cleanser, cerave moisturizing cream, Klair's vitamin c drop, paulas choice bha exfoliant, and iunik tea tree serum). I'm assuming it's the thick moisturizer that's causing me to have new small bumps on my cheeks, which I've never had before. What products do you recommend? Thank you.

Hey there! After having breakouts form the some by mi range, I used Cetaphil cleanser and cream moisturiser to calm my skin down and it really helped. Basically used plain and simple products instead of harsh chemicals to help the skin.

You shouldn't use vitamince c with aha .i guess that's why you skin had a bad reaction

I used tonic and serum and it caused me a horrible acne outbreak. Disappointed. My skin is normal.

Im seeking for help. Im tired to change my skincare already 😞 flawless to unhealthy skin. My friends noticed that my skin getting worse and i feel a little itchy, burn and my pimples look red.

Hey there! I suggest using simple and non-irritants products since you are experiencing a bad reaction. I suggest trying Cetaphil gentle cleanser and the moisturising cream to calm your skin down. Followed by acne cream with 5% benzyl peroxide to treat the acne. Or, consult a dermatologist for a skin consultation to see what's wrong. Hope this helps!

If you're having an irregular menstration and you notice that you're having hairfall and a lot of acne breakout, I suggest you visit your Obygyne. You may be having hormonal imbalance or polycystic ovarian syndrome.

Agreed. While my acne did lessen, my skin really felt a LOT thinner and sensitive. I stopped using the whole set. We all have different skin and so different experiences as well. As for my experience, I don't suggest using these more than a month. I felt my skin has become thinner which is bad. Thin skin and the sun. Why would I want to make my face unable to withstand the sun and slight rub? It did lessen acne but alot of other products can do this without thinning or making your skin sensitive.

Thanks so much for this video! Wish I had see it last year, I bought the big bottles of the toner and the serum and started my skin care routine with the cosrx salicylic acid cleanser, this toner and serum, toun 28 moisturizer and Velvet sunscreen but my face out of nowhere had terrible breakouts precisely in the jawline and I stop it after some weeks. Just like you say my breakouts disappeared after that and all the other products became basics in my routine. Just recently I thought of giving Some by mi another try but after watching this video I see that probably that are just not for me and I won't expose to unnecessary suffer. Thanks again so now I know I'm not alone and to the comments too.

Hi, I have combination/acne/sensitive skin. I experienced similar thing like u where pimples around lower area after trying other korean products. So tried this kit to improve the area, but it became more worse (around my cheeks). Found many positive reviews but so dissapointed for my skin. Rip.

Me too, this product line make my skin break out a lot of ancn... 😔😭 Maybe you can try Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule, super effective, it is my all time favorite Ampoule.

Sorry to hear that..but i think it works on my skin because i have oily skin. You should check out their red tea tree set for hypersensitive skin

Hey there! You definitely can because the moisturiser is very mild and suitable for sensitive skin. I used it too and it really helped me!

i just bought the serum i thought they're good i initially bought the toner and the cream first and i feel the bumps on my face have lessened that's why i added the serum now i get it why after a day of using the serum red bumps started popping huhuhuhu idk if i should stop using it or just trust the process

Im having breakout as well aftr starting this product for a week. And i thought it was the purging process. But it isnt getting better. How do i know when to stop?

Hi there! I think it's based on your skin's instinct on how you're feeling. Generally purging can last for weeks, but if you see your skin being "angry" and red, flaking, looking rough, or just uneven....that's probably a good indicator to stop and try something soothing and mild. I tried for 2 months and my skin just got worse. So I had to put an end to it once and for all.

They've worked for me very well! I think the thing is that you've got really sensitive skin.

When you try a new product, your skin takes some time to adjust to it. So at the start you will get more pimples and wonder WHY? IT WAS SUPPOSED TO MAKE MY SKIN BETTER!! But it's ok that's the normal reaction. Your skin will go through a purging period from 4 to 6 weeks, then it will clear up. It needs to get all the impurities from inside the skin first, then to keep it clear.. I swear by this product!!

It's hard to find products that can help for both...I have reviews on different regimes that you can take a look at: MASKNE/acne skin: kzread.info/dash/bejne/noirmtSRYK_Yn5c.html Sensitive skin: kzread.info/dash/bejne/daxl2cGeldfdg6g.html The best way to target this problem is to use non-oily skin calming products, usually containing Cica, and some exfoliating ingredients such as salicylic acid or BHA, for the blackheads. And it shouldn't be drying also, because that will make the pores irritated and create MORE oil instead. Hope this helps!

Keyword here is sensitive so you want to avoid as much irritants. For exfoliation for oily and sensitive type skin you may want to give BHA a go and stay away from AHA. Paula’s choice have good selection to choose from. Recommend the clear line of their BHA. BHA goes deeper into the pores to clear it out than AHA because of the size of the molecule. To be fair if you’re already using a BHA you don’t need to use AHA lol. For cleanser you want foaming but gentle and not stripping. Stripping makes your skin produce more oil. Recommend Cerave Hydrating Cream to Foam cleanser or Paula’s choice resist gentle foaming cleanser. Moisturiser and serums = avoid oils. If you must use oil, Squalane is the safest cos it’s the closest to normal skin sebum. Ideally you wanna look for a humectant, like Hyaluronic acid. For serums, Vichy and the ordinary have good ones. Moisturiser, Cerave. Niacinamide is a multitasking workhorse to fix a lot of different problems. Recommend to try Inkey List if The Ordinary is too drying for your skin. Skin texture retinol. Also for anti aging, hyperpigmentation etc etc. always start lowest dose you can find. Arguably stay at the lowest of your skin is sensitive. Recommend Inkey List for this. For sensitive skin it’s also better to look for mineral sunscreen as it’s gentler. Good luck!

I just received the toner and serum yesterday and every time after I’ve used them so far my face feels like hot and gets really red and irritated. I’m guessing I am also too sensitive to use these and I’m wondering if that was the same experience you had? I really wanna give them a try but my face feels so itchy and hot!

Hey there! There's a lot of ingredients in the products, that may irritate your skin, especially the AHA and BHA. For me, I didn't get itchy or hot, more like it didn't feel soothing or calming. Like I didn't get the nice feeling from using it. My skin felt dry or triggered. It depends on the persons skin sensitivity. Try it out for a week or 2 see how it goes. Lots of reviews say it works. Hope this helps!

I have been just using the serum as need be but I got lucky with the Kate Somerville Bio-Mimicking Peptides serum. It’s really helped tone and tighten my skin! Stay safe and thank you again!❤️

I got the travel set as well and using those products was literally a torture. After some days, my skin got really red and irritated. Now I'm using purito products and they're my holy grail now. The situation seems to get better :) check it out

Must use moisturizer and sunscreen. So far my skin works well after 2 months+. This toner has good formulation as usually toner contain alcohol and that makes skin dry faster.
