Looking for 50-100 acres in Nevada within an hour or so from Carson/Reno

We're working on it. We'll have more 40-80 acre parcels in Humboldt County in the next six weeks, but nothing that large that close to Reno.

I wish I was in the market to buy today, but I'm not. I'm 67 and working. I'll retire when I hit 70 in 2 and a half years and start collecting Social Security and move to the desert. I'm planning to build a 100 foot geodesic dome greenhouse, a 8KW sun tracking solar system, a 40,000 gallon rain catchment underground cistern, underground geothermal cooling system, evaporative cooling system. And I know what you are going to recommend next, buy now, build later. I wish I could, but I won't have the cash flow until I retire and sell my beachfront Florida home. See you in 2 and a half years, if I don't die. I'll be looking for acreage (2o minimum), cheap per acre, in the desert, no utilities, in the middle of nowhere. See you then.

Stuart, well that specific piece of property (profiled in the video) that you commented on is in a pretty rural location without much development around it, so it's less expensive on a price per acre basis. If there's a big surge in building - residential or commercial - you'll see the priced appreciate, but right now 20 minutes north of Golconda, NV remains a little untouched. Thanks for watching.

Not many in "small government" rural Nevada. Zoning but it's not terribly strict. For the record, we'll be dropping the price on this significantly in the next 48 hours. Click the link underneath the video to visit the listing page, and stay tuned for price drop.
