Neurosis live at Supersonic Festival 2019
Музыка
The iconic heavy pioneers, Neurosis headlined our Supersonic Festival 2019 at Birmingham Town Hall last year - it was one heck of a special show.
A year later, and following our Sofasonic Festival screening, we're so excited to finally release half-hour of footage from that unforgettable opening concert. So join us in re-living those Neurosis goosebumps!

amazing gig, the sound was crystal clear in the town hall that night
“We follow the earth, the earth follows the stars, the stars know their way, and though the body dies, the stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and the restless wind”
Sometimes I cannot believe the feelings that some human beings are able to express.

Exactly that. 😊 what a band. The only others that really make me feel this way are Yob and Cult Luna, but Neurosis are something very special.

F yeah... this carried me past today. Neurosis . makes it better
Anyone else moved to tears by the breakdown in My Heart for Deliverance? Man, it's transcendent

Amen. Absolutely phenomenal band. Every live show is like a spiritual experience - just overwhelmed by sweeping, HUGE, sound.

Yep. Skin tingles and nearly crying. The rest of the song after "and the restless wind" is a spinning wheel of despair and triumph. Beautiful.
I saw Neurosis in 1999, on the times of grace tour. Absolutaly amazing gig.

Same here. By pure coincidence I happened to be living in Vancouver BC at the time and it was the first time they had played there in over a decade. I had been a fan ever since Word As Law and they were one of the few 'wish list' bands I really wanted to see live. Needless to say, they didn't dissapoint.
NEUROSIS have cemented themselves as legends. Legends never die...

Yeah but, they are dead.
I love how the bass player is always like: whatever. :D
I absolutely love this band.
Neurosis must live!
Amazing sound at this show everything was crystal clear. Great gig and night for me. Godflesh, Neurosis and Yob in one night. No better line up for me.

I saw the same lineup in London. Same year. Kentish town forum. It was just insane, I will never forget it.
Thank you for this. It was epic! I had lost my father earlier that year and despite so many setbacks getting to the gig from Ireland that day, it was as if Da was helping me on the way to see the lads. Thanks Neurosis and thanks Supersonic
Absolutely transcendent music. Just unbelievable
I was pretty sick to be in Norway that weekend. The sound on this recording is great. Neurosis have done that every time I've seen them. Perfect live band.
We need the full show!
Neurosis is the most underrated artist(s) in the truest sense of the word; “catharsis” during my very limited experience on this beautiful rock…Called Earth.
To think...if I had died I would have missed this!!!
I caught my first whiff of you from the mastadon kerrang show,I know I must live under a rock.how I missed your music,I don't know, better late than never.im here to stay now.
This is awsome! Thank you for sharing!

Thanks a lot for the upload! I'm partial to their last two records, but each one they've ever released is an emotional and thought provoking ride. Can't wait for another album. Keep rocking!

My cup of tea.

I missed these guys eons ago when they played at a friends HOUSE in myrtle beach. They used to be part of the underground hardcore punk scene back then. Just a little history for the young kids here. Im nearly convinced that it was neurosis who started the trend of bands using big screen imagery behind them while they played. I remember when mainstream bands like ministry and tool used that type of set up id laugh and tell people that neurosis was doing it centuries ago 🤣🤣 Yes i could be an elitist prick back then. Good show from them here. And although this type of stuff isnt my cup of tea, im happy to see these guys are still out there. Bravo RIP Hardcore 1981-1996
saw them in 96 with pantera. met a few of em. they were a scary ass band. still are.
right before they kicked Scott
This is so fucking sick. I love this band so much
so depressing that Scott Kelly was such a monster on the inside, I used to look up to him so much. Not only did he destroy his family but the band (as we know it at least, time will tell)

Many are monsters on the inside. Punk has never been the best playground for the American dream. I can only hope the best for Kelly and his fam. Shit is difficult everywhere. Don't light the torches yet.

@@kevind825 Dude I can forgive violent outbursts cause stress, mental issues, and stuff like that. But what he did was cold calculated abuse for his sick pleasure. It wasn't like the world was on his shoulders and he exploded. He was doing unprovoked sick shit to them for his own pleasure that he would plan every step of the way. It was some pretty sick stuff man. It seemed like he was working his way up to killing them or something. It's hard for me to dislike him but there's just no excuses. It's just unforgivable man.

@@gex581990 I have not researched anything about his home life. With today's witch hunts for men that have been based on spiteful or mean texts, I thought that was your case. We used to play with Neurosis every few months back in the late 80's and they were all great guys. I know Kelly has had his demons (Who has avoided that from the punk generation of the 80's) but did not know he dropped into the depravity that you are sure he has done to his family. Not sure how you would know such personal activities unless you were family. I hope you are wrong because no one deserves an abusive husband/father. I hope you know what you are talking about because bashing people for the new progressive oversensitive values are a crime especially when trying to bash a person. How about citing your facts.
zounds top as well top notch
Can not hide, the way we are bleeding inside 🔥🤘
Okay so good where is the rest please
Awww, was hoping for Locust Star.
NEUROSIS and SHRINEBUILDER are my 2 most listened to bands, if that tells u anything
I was accidentally playing this at 1.5x speed and was like what the fuck is going on
❤❤❤
I haven't seen them since the ''Enemy of The Sun'' tour i should rectify that as soon as possible
Najlepszy zespół jaki stworzył człowiek...
This is fucking magic
Love to see stuff of Fire's live and hopefully new materials? Really need to inject some new into this false reality
I play bass and am currently wearing that Zounds t-shirt. Am I in Neurosis yet?
These dudes fuckin rock
that's serious.
Fuck yes!

When it all came out didn't the band say that they hadn't been in contact with him since 2019? This gig can't have been long before that. Truly sad what happened. He definately does not seem happy or involved.
