I actually have a Mikeaus edh deck with the typical undying instant win combos and seeing the triskelion combo just confirmed that I have to build this. Plus, I’ve got the comic art copy and the biollante so it seems it was meant to be

I've been playing Nethroi in Brawl on Arena with a self-mill strategy and one of my favorite cards to fill the yard with is Mindwrack Harpy

Mindwrack is so good it's odd it wasn't in the base set for Theros2. It's also landed a permanent home in my cube because of it.

Just a small comment on the mike and trike combo its a safer idea to shoot trike first then shoot your opponent to minimize the removal window your opponent has. As doing it the other-way opens you up to an exile effect. Love the deck tech.

Watching this because I recently got stomped by a Nethroi deck, and the rulings with Scourge of the Skyclaves and 0/0 counter etbs made me want to try it myself, and I'm looking for ideas. I don't get why the boi is a cat, tho. Gives me more Wendigo vibes.

walking ballista also works with mikaeus by the way and is cheaper to cast should you need to and it has 0 power

Hola Ghostrick. Gracias por mirar el video y por su comment. Buena sugerencia. De hecho, Peter esta construyendo un mazo con Ukima y Cazur. No se si vamos a poder hacer un video sobre ellos en este momento porque estan saliendo los spoilers de Core 2021 y queremos empezar a hacer videos con las nuevas cartas. Pero, si tenemos tiempo Peter quisiera hacerlo.

How do you protect your yard from getting exiled? Outside of spot removal for Crypt and Relic, what do we do? How can you be proactive?

i use perpetual timepiece, ghost quarter, shalai, and blessed respite.

Anybody got a budget commander deck for Nethroi?

not the best combo, but i like using quillspike and devoted druid to make an infinite sized quillspike. can use mogis marauder to give it haste as well as other fun stuff like seating the quillspike on dragonthrone of tarkir or summoning with pathbreaker ibex and some mana dorks.

I'm fairly certain Mikaeus and Triskelion don't quite work that way. The +1/+1 is an anthem effect, not a counter.

Hi Aaron, Peter here! With Mikaeus out it is a little more tricky to get that undying trigger off of Triskelion, but not impossible. The line will go like this: Triskelion enters with 3 counters on him. He spends 1 counter dealing damage to a player, then he uses his last 2 counters to deal 2 damage to himself. Once those counters are removed, he’ll have 2 damage on him and only 2 toughness, so he dies, but the Undying that Mikaeus is giving him brings him back with 4 counters. Then from there, you remove 2 counters to ping someone else, and 2 more counters to ping itself to continue the cycle. Great question!

Another good early game card would be rotting regisuar, 2 and a black for a 7/6 with at the beginning of your upkeep discard a card. Also Mazirek, death priest gives +1/+1 anytime a creature dies, yours or opponents.
