Netherlands' 3rd goal is one of the best team goals I've ever seen. 5 touches, every one of then absolutely perfect. Incredible finish. This team is something special. The group stage showdown against the USA will be something to watch.

The first penalty I have never liked because it is not like the defender put up her hand to stop the ball (I just think that rule is lame and it does ruin the game). The second penalty should have not een called...... It looked more like acting. I watched it numerous times......it is a lame call. No I am not from Belgium nor do I know any of these teams.

Plus that playing football is not seen as a feminine thing by a lot of immigrants from muslim or more socially conservative societies (like a lot of the ones in Africa, Eastern Europe etc), so fewer girls from those backgrounds will attempt to play football (and discover they're good at it) than boys. In contrast, white western European women tend to be more liberal, ergo they won't care as much about what is traditionally "feminine" or not, and you'll have a greater percentage of them becoming professional footballers...

C'est clair qu'il y a 3 classes de différence entre l'une des meilleures équipes du monde (Pays Bas) et l'équipe flamande qui joue un football lamentable fait de défense à 11 et d'anti-jeu permanent : c'était vraiment la plus mauvaise équipe de l'Euro quant au jeu proposé !
