Training someone else and hitting pads is VERY different to having someone half your age, in their physical prime, landing bombs on you. Mike looks like an absolute savage when he's hitting the pads, he looked scary as fuck on the run up to Roy Jones Jr, but the reality didn't play out like the training did. This is a sad state of affairs and I only hope Mike has one last devastating fight left in him and takes Jake's confidence and crushes it to nothingness. But got a feeling he's going to end up asleep, which nobody on earth wants to see.

No. If the fight was real and not an exhibition, Tyson would have no problem setting up and landing a knockout punch to Paul. 60 is not a problem in that regard for Tyson. He doesn't show problems from boxing as does others.@@PAllen74

But seemed the corner had spoken about the towel coming in, before the fights even started. I do go see Benn fight Henry Wharton and best part of that night was the undercard. He played it safe that evening. I was a young man and it was a lot of money to go watch boxing. I expected more from my money.

I was commenting on the fact that the guy in the video implied this would go on an actual record, but it in fact does not, because there's a difference between an exhibition fight for entertainment purposes and an official professional fight for competition, the latter which would involve an actual professional record. I heard "this shouldn't be happening" and some tidbits about the fighters but never a "why".

Seeing the interview with Mike talking about losing his daughter was one of the hardest things I’ve seen. It reminded me of just how much the man has really been through in his life. A lot of bad decisions and a lot of horrible tragedy too. If they allow him access to all the Mexican supplements I think he will be fine in there. But within I think it’s lose lose for Jake. You either beat a beloved senior citizen and boxing legend as someone around 30 years his junior or you get knocked out by an old man. Who you say shuffled around with Roy Jones but he actually did extremely well and looked good for his age and considering the competition.

If Mike gets in shape and be serious he should win

a 57 year old is n o t a "Granddad" as a synonym of 'old' - my Granddad is old. And he is 88. Man, I dont know how old you are, but you dot look far away from 57 also. But is live over with 57? Brad Pitt is 60 Tom Cruise is 61 I do not associate them with Grandads. I know what you mean. It's a bloody miissmatch and shame and should not be supported, but you could have said that without degrading aging. 57 is NOT 'old'.

Ordinarily 57 is far too old to fight but Archie Moore fought Muhammad Ali when he was about to turn 50 and Moore was really a light heavy whereas Ali was a full blown heavy. Tyson is bigger than Moore and Paul is a fair bit smaller than Ali and obviously nowhere near as good. Also, Tyson's in pretty decent shape. I think this will be far closer than people expect.

Ortiz is also supposed to be in his early 50's (not nearly 45 as officially stated) and he'd smash Jake Paul all over the place. Yes, Tyson's a million years old but I don't think you're taking into account how terrible Paul truly is. Don't think anyone in the top 1000 Heavyweights would lose to him.

Ok, yeah, I am 31 and yeah, Mike Tyson would knock my me on my ass if we entered a ring, ture. But JakePaul is actually traning boxing, he isn't world class tallent, but an a healthy amature for sure. He doesn't need some crazy skill, just being mediocre boxer + young and healfty is enough for him to be a big favorite considering Mike is 60. Dont get me workg, I would be rooting for Mike...but man, 30 years of difference.

There’s a reason people aren’t competitively boxing at 57/58 years old. This is a circus, anyone paying to watch this, is getting conned. Jake Paul is a great example of what is wrong with the internet age. He has successfully monetised being obnoxious and boxing people(that really shouldn’t be boxing) that he really should win against. I think he’s smart enough not to seriously disrespect Tyson. He might beat Tyson at boxing but Mike is not someone you play with. It might start as boxing but throw in some disrespect and it might end up more serious.
