Ok so here is my opinion (p.s this might be long tbh idk yet since i didnt write it down yet lmao) So before you say anything, I am muslim just to put that out there, so i'm fully aware of exactly what she is doing. So for everyone who doesn't know, the Quran is The word of Allah (swt), or God, Basically, The bible but for muslims. But Please dont get me wrong, the bible and Quran are not the same thing! Now back to the subject. In the Quran, It states very clearly to not be throwing it back, wearing very revealing clothes, e.t.c. Even though some muslims do it, Its something that would be almost essential for most muslims. Now nessa throwing it back, is probably the worst thing she could have done. Her throwing it back was bassically like Going to paris and burning down the Eiffel tower. Its a very serious note and should not be taken as a joke. But in the Quran, Allah (swt) states that he is the MOST forgiving, And Allah (swt) expects us to be forgiving as well. So do I forgive nessa? Yes! if she is TRULY sorry then i forgive her! but the matter is still unacceptable and i dont agree with throwing it back to the Quran WHAT SO EVER. I don’t forgive her for something really bad.You can’t forgive someone disrespecting your own religion.Its a major sin and no one will ever be forgive for the sin message committed.

this is what i think of this situation, and im muslim btw (click read more) if u guys dont know what happened, nessa barret played an audio of an old man reciting the quran, and she decided to throw her ass back with her friend while the quran was being recited... i think "yes, she, and her friend should be cancelled" because, not only is it very rude and disrespectful to muslims, but its an EXTREMELY bad example of how muslims should behave if someone was to convert to muslim... i really dont know how i'm supposed to forgive her, even after she apologised. (mainly because she wasnt that sorry) she said "i think i'm sorry" that apology was unacceptable (for me, at least) if she was DEEPLY sorry, then i would forgive her, but regardless of how she apologised, we musims still have to forgive her (which will take a while, and im not defending her when i say all this) and also, we need to hear an apology from her friend, because she did it as well!!! also if she claims that she's muslim, she should DEFINITELY understand that its EXTREMELY wrong to be dancing to any quran recitation. im 13, and i do pretty dumb things (not gonna lie) but doing something like dancing to the quran, is not just a mistake, BUT A WHOLE SIN! she actually might end up in hell (oof) imagine f her parnts were east african (somali, ethiopian, eritrean) SHES DEADD yes ik this happened months ago but it had to be said, and honestly if people are still defending her and supporting her, theres something wrong with u (EVEN THOUGHT MOST OF HER FANS ARENT EVEN MUSLIM) anyway, that's what i think about the situation (gosh it's so long lol)
