The nespresso Original line will do it because it acts like an actual espresso machine, the Verturo line will do it as well but it's more of a whipped crema due to the spinning. Alternatively you can put your coffee in a blender, and that will create whipped crema foam on top.

How come her nespresso machine produces more crema than mine?

  • @nespresso

Hi there, if your machine is not producing much crema then we would recommend that you descale your machine or run a cleaning cycle on this. The instructions for these processes can be found in your user manual or online here bit.ly/2VaF5Rh when selecting your machine. Many thanks.

She said the French word "terroir" often used for wine but also for other things like coffee, it denotes the character and aspects of how a particular region’s climate, soils, and terrain affect the taste and distinct notes

While a Nespresso machine will make a great espresso for us "regular" coffee-drinkers, aficionados will balk at its lightness. And let's face it, a true aficionado wouldn't be caught dead with a capsule or pod machine. Nespresso is a huge step up from Keurig, which produces barely drink-able coffees, even for us regular folk. Convenience often wins, as does saving money. Having a hot drink with the push of a button at an affordable ~$1.00 makes Nespresso's fake crema something I'm willing to overlook.

@@suzymanville232 With a Nesspresso original line you get 80% of the taste of a "real" espresso, with 3% of the effort and maintenance. Good enough for me.

wtf is up with Nespresso and "cereal" tasting notes? Is that supposed to be a good thing? Having your coffee taste like cereal?

Cereal notes is just roast notes. “Normal coffee taste”. Going from a James Hoffman video and then to Nespresso to comment with some Hoffman ideas isn’t exactly my idea of fun.

crema îs a term that describes the oils that didn't mix with the coffee in the extraction process, while cream has nothing to do with coffee at all. the word crema is mostly used by baristas so there is a chance you haven't heard it till now, but indeed is a word from the English vocabulary, though it might come for English , it may come from another Language
