Is this hooked up to a water line instead of filling by hand? It appears as though the water is coming into the water container via an automatic source. Can it be filled by hand if you prefer not hooking it to a water line?

Thanks for your question. The Lattissima One has a water tank that can be manually refilled. It isn't set up to be plumbed into a water line.

Yes, but how does it foam the milk, by mechanical agitation, or by introducing steam into the milk? (I already own a Nespresso Lattissima Plus, and understand how that works, does the Lattissima One foam the milk in the same way?) Thanks for responding.

Yes, Karen, the Lattissima One uses the same technology as the rest of the machines in the Lattissima family. The milk is steamed using pressure from the machine. We're happy to clarify for you.

Hello. I want to make hot milk on Espresso to make Cortado. After I get an espresso with a capsule from my machine. Is it possible for me to get only hot milk without capsules?

Hi, you should follow the instructions in the manual of the machine and make a recipe. It means to insert the milk container and capsule and select the right button. There is not option of the hot milk on the Lattissima one machine. Enjoy your coffee moments!
