I bought the new Aerochino 4 earlier this week and so far am loving it. I'm finding it beats the milk to a much stiffer peak on the Max Froth than my old 3 ever did, but the Capuccino setting gives a very weak froth. So I just use Latte setting for my hot drinks. And I really like having the handle, which I didn't think I would. All in all I think it's a great improvement. Thanks for your review.

I have the old aeroccino 4 and not used it much and it was a faff to clean and never knew it was dishwasher proof! I am so glad you demonstrated this one for us, may even use it a bit more now!

Glad the video was helpful! I’d imagine your Aeroccino4 was made redundant when the Creatista arrived 😅 but I quite like having one on the worktop to use with the Vertuo machine (or other machines) so I’m not running around the kitchen to use the steam wand at the same time 😂 Nice that it doesn’t take up as much worktop space now

So the whole kettle is able to go in the dishwasher even with the hole underneath where it connects to the base

I was looking for a new frother. Purchased this one thanks to your review.

I have just got this Aeroccino 4 and I think I actually prefer the aeroccino 3 for ease of use. If I want max froth on the aeroccino 4 I have to pour milk to the minimum setting only, if any more is added then the machine overflows when the milk is frothed. With the aeroccino 3 I could use the max milk setting and still get a frothy milk for a bigger glass. I feel like the aeroccino 4 only makes small quantities in max froth settings, am I doing something wrong?

Good demo. As a novice to this, do you stir the drink or leave it as is?

Hi 👋 Glad you liked it 🙂 For a latte macchiato I’d say don’t stir it. The idea is that you get more of a coffee hit with this drink by pouring the coffee over milk so best not to stir. If you feel the need to stir to make the coffee more to your taste, then it’s probably best to just pour the milk over the coffee and make a latte instead. Hope this helps 👍🏼

Smashing video as ever mate! I have a Citiz + Milk with a Aeroccino 3, and seeing that the controls are now on the jug as opposed to the base, I’d be intrigued to know if it would work on the Aeroccino 3 base of the Citiz + Milk… 🤔

I’m just wondering if you noticed any improvements with the temperature on this one compared to the older model? I used to have one but got rid because by the time I warmed the milk up, put it into my cup it was always lukewarm

I don’t have the older model to compare it to at the minute but if I’m able to get hold of one I’ll certainly test that.

I picked one of these up a while ago so I can have 2 milk devices going at once, have to say I've always found it a pain to pour without leaving half the froth inside the jug. will have to get the hang of it now though as the steam wand has just died on my Creatista 😬

The best tips I could give right now are to pour the milk out as soon as it finishes frothing and also to find a sweet spot for the amount of milk you put in, so you’re not leaving any in the jug if possible. We have a video on the channel with more aeroccino tips in case it helps 🙂 Sorry to hear about your Creatista wand too. I’m dreading the day mine goes 😬

That's an easy one for me, if budget allows then I'd go for the steam wand on the Creatista every time 😁 We actually discussed it in a podcast episode last time around in case it helps 👍

Not sure about the new one but the old one was horrible, had two of them replaced by Nespresso. You can only use milk, breaks very easily if you try heating anything else in it, I tried Bailey’s but no go. I bought myself a Breville frother which you can use for pretty much anything.

Yeah you had to be very careful about what you put in the old model didn't you. I broke one once adding sugar to it 🤦‍♂️ We've been meaning to review other milk frother brands on the channel for a long time, so will try and get hold of some others 🙂

Does the new Aeroccino 4 work on the Aeroccino 3 base?

Hi, would you be able to help me please? I’ve got a CitiZ&milk Nespresso machine - I’ve had it for 2 & 1/2 years but lately the milk isn’t frothing anymore. I’ve checked the whisk and the seal on the lid and it’s still not working properly- it just doesn’t froth anymore. Do you think I should replace the milk frother for a new one? Thanks.

@@A2BProductions Hi no I haven’t changed the whisk - it seems ok- it seems like it’s the milk frother part, maybe faulty inside it - I’m wondering whether to buy a new milk frother. Do you know if they normally last more than 2 years? It’s not been used every day. thanks for replying.

I had a similar problem with the Aeroccino 4 in the past and replacing the whisk - not just the spring but the plastic part too - resolved the problem. Might be worth a shot. If it’s still in warranty then they might even send you one for free

What i need Nespresso to do is an option to make the milk a lil hotter. I always have to put my mug in the microwave for 10 secs before adding the coffee. Great vid 👍.

Glad you enjoyed the video! The latte macchiato setting on the aeroccino 4 has always been a little hotter than the other settings but you don’t always want that level of froth do you. We have the Creatista now and you can control the heat of the milk with that and the higher temperature setting gets very hot 🥛🙂

When you turn your machine on and put your pod in wait a little bit before you press the button, the longer you wait the hotter your coffee will be

Hi 👋 Yeah I’ve just tested it as was struggling to find an auto-off time for the new one. Mine turns itself off after around 1 minute or so. Hope this helps 🙂👍🏼

I have the vertuo next machine and I’m so sad because the coffee comes cold (it’s not hot enough) and I thought the crema is real crema. But I love big cups coffee would you recommend the vertuo plus or the original line?🥺

I used an espresso capsule in this video

I’ve had four of these no.4 ones in the last 4 months….. they keep on just stopping working!!! Nespresso said it’s becoming more common on this model and have replaced them all with no quibble, I’m a bit disheartened to be honest! I never put mine in the dishwasher because I simply don’t trust that it’ll be ok x

Sorry to hear that. Would be interested to hear if others have had this problem too. I washed mine out by hand yesterday but would like to put it in the dishwasher really as they can be a little difficult to keep clean with a sponge or cloth as the silver coating shows marks quite easily. The dishwasher usually brings things up nicely though doesn’t it.

Its so bad. I got very poor results with this milk froather in France. You can use only very fat milk or it did not work.

Creatista or this ? What is the best for latte pls ?

Yeah I made this latte macchiato according to the recipe in the manual that came with it. Personally I prefer using a little more milk so that it fills the recipe glass up more and it seems to reduce the froth slightly when you add more milk too. Just be sure to secure the lid so it doesn’t overflow 😅 May still be too frothy for some though.

No use with oat milk, no use at all.
