Looking back at my childhood I don't even remember the areas after area 4. I was really suck at this game. Besides I didn't have the opportunity to play it anytime I want. I can play it only at my friend's house and it was for only a while before his dad show up and kick us out saying Go play outside.

i have it this game when i was kid the game is cool and i remember everything in her but for somereaon now im not so strong to finish her so easy like before for some reason maybe is bc i not play her so much time for that i not have maybe my skills but if someone wanna play her on pc need to se the website retrogames just use that in google and you will see the first website and then when you go in use the game of the game and you will find her for pc

Agreed. I just did my 2nd 'No Death' run of this game and there are many factors like 'corner spawns' and Level 6's alien scum that just spawns right on top of you with an incredibly large hitbox and you can't do anything about it. So if you're very skilled, it doesn't matter as it's partially luck-based on whether you will succeed or not without dying once. Level 8 is the second one that gives me trouble, but because it's genuinely hard with enemies coming from both directions at the end while having to dodge acid bubbles when the ceiling decides to go up and down, blocking your projectiles and the bubbles go right through. And when you die, it spawns you on the left, meaning that they are now close and will kill you multiple times, resulting in overkill. How is that fair?

I know the word is so fuckin' over used, but Contra and Super C truly are epic games. The music, weapons, enemies coming from everywhere. Man, this is SICK!

I like how player 2 is an adorable goofball while player 1 is all business! Player 2 is a like an adorable bunny hopped up on Red Bull, while player 1 tries his best to keep it together, lol!

Made me laugh like hell. I used to jump jump jump on the climb levels and get my brother killed. LMAO! Hahaha then when I would die I would steal his extra men . LMFAO!!! Thanks Brad! S

The bad part is, I remember this game fervently, hell it even inspired some of my crazy helicopter and tank drawings as a kid, and people had been talking about how contra was one of the hardest games on NES i was like... no super C was! (not realizing it was contra 2 xD)

I love this game! I can beat this game more than twice and get a huge score. Still waiting for Contra (All three of the Virtual Console games -Contra, Contra: Hard Corps, and the one on the Game Boy- and the one that is suppose to appear on the 3DS) though.

My cousins and I played this as kids. We never read the instruction booklet, so we didn't know what different types of guns were supposed to be called. "S" was known among us as the "Spread" or "Spreader" gun. And "F" was the "Fuzz" gun. Just based on the visual look of the graphics. Didn't find out until *years* later it was supposed be Shotgun and Flamethrower.

As a teenager I beat this game solo losing only one life via a stray turret bullet in level 5. How the fuck did I do that? No Idea but pretty sure I have PTSD from the experience because watching this video gave me flashbacks.
