Been more times than I can count. Probably my favourite place in Spain. Particularly like the Burriana area for serious beach time and good beach restaurants.

We went to Nerja on our first Spanish holiday, remember walking through the town to get to the big beach as we stayed at the Monica and also went to the little beach alongside the Balcon. Just found your channel via Macmaster and the pie vlog.

Hubby and I love Nerja , have been Going on holiday there since. 2002. Stayed inThe carabeo road a few times. Our first time in Nerja we stayed at the casa carabeo del mar. It waS wonderful with a front row sea view with a plunge pool. We are so missing Nerja this year.

Rented a villa here a few years ago , what a fabulous place . Did the caves , very interesting , fab restaurant just along the beach . Really enjoyed our time there , thanks for taking us back .

a really nice town, i visited at easter time this year and am going again this september (i live in estepona a hour from malaga so it isnt that far). It is VERY diffrent from most modern spanish citys like granada, malaga, marbella as it is very old school and SUCH a beautiful place with lots to do. If you get the chance go to that indian restraunt at 5.33, great service and amazing food you get 3 corses for 9.99 and its VERY good.

Some great shops usually

Stayed in an apartment complex (not very nice) in Nerja, the town is beautiful but we were too far out just up out of town, the beach is lovely .thank goodness for a Hostel they made us very welcome on an evening, we drove up to the Sierra Nevada and Granada very nice 20 mins to Malaga Torremolinos and Benalmadena.

Sure have been in 2012, such a lovely place and relaxing, love spain because use to live in parma nova Mallorca but nerja is a typical little spanish town, love it

Yes i used to live there in season back on 90’s lunamar appartments, i used dj in Picadilly corner and red lion magaluf :-)

Thank-you for this its made my day.....been going to nerja for the last 15 years. Going to book for 4 weeks as soon as possible to make up for the 2 weeks I missed last summer because of lockdown 🤣🤣🤣

Loved this - have long wanted to visit Nerja but hubby always insists on heading West from Malaga because it’s familiar! When we finally get back to the Costa del Sol I’m going to insist on trying this area, it looks wonderful - you’ve done a great job

@@GimbalWalkTV I forgot to mention we went on market day the streets were lined with many stalls had quite a busy day, going to binge watch this Spain series and pretend we are there again seeing as this year is a washout 😂😂😂

My wife and stayed in Nerja, we were in a hotel on the Plaza Cabanna near to the Balcony, it's a fantastic town, and hope to return someday.

Been to Nerja a few times love it stayed in the Capistrano apartments at the base of the mountains excellent place all white washed villas \ gardens & walkways etc, you have already filmed my home town, Saltburn in North Yorkshire so i reckon Caleta de Fuste in Fuerteventura which is where i am sat now :-)

Nice film Neil. This took us back to 2010 the last time we stayed there in a private rented apartment which was right on the beach . We used to like to walk up to where your film started and we had a meal once inside the Balcon De Europe hotel opposite those arches ,which used to be lined up with fancy horse & carriages to take you a tour of the town . Where you filmed and commented on 007 there was a statue of Alfonso x11 (the 12th) king of spain. Thanks for bringing back the memories for us. -Andy :-) PS.. Not so bad watching them with the C Heating turned up ! ;-)

Yeah they do get a bit busy when the place is bustling! Makes it a vibrant fun place to be though!

I adore this place my mam and dad moved over there over 15 years ago I love going twice a year it's such a peaceful place and the nightlife is amazing shops bars can't wait to be there when this virus finally ends.

It´s good to see the dutch shop "Andaluz food shop" still open, I remember this shop opening in 2010. Is the Belgium chicken shop still there? You go past the church & it´s on your right. I will have to go back next year. I don´t live that far away.
