If you can't understand how you can have a difficult turn 3 based on the cards in hand, you likely never have played decks that require you to think ahead. Ah, finally a budget deck for me!

Kept losing to this deck (not highlander) last night and decided to give it a try. From what I've experienced playing with and against this deck, I think that this might be the best deck right now, one of the best decks I've ever played in standard. I think the doubles version is probably better than highlander as it is more consistent, and has more than enough value and mana cheating to overpower most decks.

Could someone explain why everybody finishes an opponent with 1 attack minion instead of 10 attack minion (when they can do that ofc)? Like, you attack with 10 dmg first and finish with 1, but isn't it cooler to do it in the opposite order?

I'm only missing 5 out of the ten legendaries, I'll get there in no time!

This is my favorite deck right now. I don't have the dust to play the highlander version, but Togwaggle and Flik are really fun cards. It's hard to dump my hand sometimes from all the VALUE!

good to see that trump is building the deck i am playing since days:) im still playing it a bit more lategame-ier with togwaggles scheme to put in 10-15 kronxes or flyks into my deck once my library goes empty. also i have a 100% winrate vs revive quest priest which is the most hated deck right after galakrond warrior for me. vs warrior it all comes down to playing flyk vs the triple dragon card and surviving long enought to play a kronx every turn in late.

I keep wondering if dusting siamat was the right play with every new deck.

So which deck would you guys suggest me? Recently i´ve safed about 13K dust and would be able to craft one deck. After the 2nd nerfes are out it´s may quite a good time to go for my first time in ranked battles. Therefore I´d like to hear your oppinions. Thank´s in advance.

Malygos rogue seems viable and runs it. The card is insane, but you can't run it in highlander, because you don't invoke consistently enough

Season resets every month. You get rewards for whatever your highest rank was, then drop back 4 ranks. Hence, every legend player drops back to rank 4, 0 stars

Wouldn't that legendary that makes your lackeys 4/4's for the rest of the game be pretty good in this deck? Or is that a class specific legendary? (thought its neutral). It's a 5 mana 4/4 if I recall that makes future 1 mana lackeys 4/4. With Galakrond your hero becomes add a 1 mana 4/4 lackey which is pretty good for value.

How do you get a card from another class with this deck? Dragon's Hoard? Blink fox against non-rogues? Occasionally from some of the lackeys that give dragons? I don't get it.

Zephyrs, dragons hoard, pharaoh cat, blink fox, Alexsrasza. And lackeys can often get you it indirectly.

Wait, Necrium A. from 4 to 5 mana is a greater nerf than you describe. I lost sometimes because of that. aggro/fast decks like druid treants or Face hunter... And dont forget sometimes with bad draw you can just concede.

@@akiratakabayashi8591 you can ever play a highlander deck and it's still good. one card only one mana more expensive. It's called paytowin or in this case paytopower 😉. It's effected really hard I at cheaper non-highlander deathr. gala rogue deck. Like 80 percent of players play it Otherwise deathrattle rogue wasn't overpowered because you have many many downsides, from tempo to bad luck. Just in some lucky cases it looks really overpowered...

@@Casa_Y just like you said, your deathrattle rogue is very high roll y deck, when it played, either you instantly win or instantly lose. It feels like just rolling a dice instead of playing card games. And hearthstone is a cardgame.

since i don't have enough dust to make siamat,i use barista instead 😐it helps with magic wand or galakrond the nightmare.

I don’t think you take Leeroy out of a control Rogue deck unless you have an unlimited value win condition. Especially when you can easily reduce it to zero and have shadowstep, and can generate additional shadowsteps.

Not sure but remember that it's harder in highlander to get to two invokes.

Non-Highlander version of this deck is probably better, but the highlander version has some backbreakingly bull high rolls that just make me close the window.

Can someone explain to me why I've seen many players play their zephras with shadowstep in hand and leave it up just to get punished over and over again for it? I understand the chances are low for it to get removed especially with that rogue drawing one card, but mannnnn can you not just play around dumb rng its happened to trump at least 3 times and I've seen it done by other players and it really gets my gears :)

@Nicholas p You can shuffle many Waxadreds into your deck and slowly but surely you get a train of reviving Waxadreds that your opponent has to deal with and since the first Waxadred reappears eventually you can hold the scheme until the time is right

you should think of using spectral cutlass tho since you steal allot of cards and it's a decent life gain option vs face hunter and aggro decks stuff like bone wraith and khartut defenders is too slow for this meta

Backstabbing during the first game turned out to be a good play. The opponent had to trade into the 1/1 with his 2/1 because of the backstab. Otherwise he would have a damaged 1/2 and a 2/1 afterwards. The Backstab was correct.

Why no Waxadred?

9:30 it was so painfully obvious that zephrys would die.. Were the potential 3 damage really worth the risk?

"Painfully obvious" is not the way I'd describe the situation granted they had no cards and only 1 damage. That deck only has a couple of efficient ways to deal with if left. Now I do think it was right to ss it for the kronx pyro 2 turn lethal but the effect it could've had on that game is so minimal

@@lolertwtew There are cards like Spirit of the shark that would enable you to go infinite. Pick a useful card plus pick shadowstep to repeat next turn. Those cards are removed from the pool for good.

I hate playing with control decks against Rogue. If they are Deathrattle, you have to be aggressive, if they are control, you have to go for value. And there is no way of telling which deck it is until they play the Apothecary or are highlander. Also Draconic Lackey into Alexstrasza into Emeriss is disgusting to play against, so I might make an exception and craft an aggro deck to beat Rogues by turn 5 and not have to worry about those insane highroll RNG bullshits Rogue represents.

Fair assessment, but two of them are free, one is an auto-craft from 5 expansions ago (Zilliax) and one is a classic class legendary. Additionally, this is a singleton deck, which will auto-include the two singleton lovers, and since it’s Galakrond, you have to run the one legendary that goes into every Galakrond deck.
