I think I’ve found my favourite astrologer

This is describes my experience so vividly. I forgot a lot of my childhood at some point but, along the years gathering pieces of the memories left me feeling anger, sadness and yet gratitude for the life that I was given. I never knew my father and my family struggled with mental illness and addiction ( mom a pisces). I was left in the hands of family members who has severe narcissistic tendencies and was struggling to cope with their own pain. I grew up very artistically and creatively gifted and highly sensitive and I naturally gravitated out of the family dynamic because it felt unloving, and disappointing. I’m 30 now and I understand things that I couldn’t understand before and have empathy for it all but, the wound hurts from time to time especially around the holidays but, I can say that if it wasn’t for the pain I wouldn’t be who I am now. I would choose to experience this knowing it would create the women I am today. A light, a beautiful soul that can’t be torn down from unfortunate circumstances. I trust life and a higher purpose and I understand that everything will work out the way it needs to with a higher protection. I always dream of a home filled with a garden of flowers and animals. this is so spot on!!!!! my father left when i was 11, never talked to him again. doesn't matter to me that much, but maybe i am lying to myself and the feelings will eventually come back. i related a lot to the "describing my childhood as both good and bad"... feeling lonely and feeling like i don't have a home, dreaming of a place where i can feel at home. no addictions or substance abuse in my family but i found myself being the addict. thank you for this video

This is by far the best description of Neptune on the IC I've come across. My family has many secrets, they are at once loving and tolerant and then the next dismissive and cold. My dad died when I was 14, and yea I thought he was pretty weak. Thank you.

You're welcome. A family with a double nature (two fish) is so common with this placement. Hang in there. Over the years I have come to see this as a very challenging placement for Neptune.

I have this placement. I have never seen my both grandfathers because they both passed away before I was born, I don't even know their names. My grandmother from dad's side raised me but grandmother from mom's side, I only met sparingly her in my life. It's like there is no family tree in the past but there must be one. My idea of happy family or family union is only in my imagination, it doesn't exist in my reality.

I have Neptune and Uranus in the 4th house in Aquarius. Your explanation was very insightful and gives me more clarity into my feelings related to my childhood. My dad passed away when I was three, my place of residence changed often, and I wanted to distance myself from my mother as she struggled with addiction and I tended to feel emotionally drained when I was around her for too long. My home life facilitated my love for fine arts and gave me something to write about. Your video really hit the nail on the head for me and I felt very teary eyed by the end of it.

Your description is amazingly on point! Thank you! I have Neptune on the IC with the sun and Jupiter on my midheaven. It's been pretty interesting over the past while with Neptune in my 7th in Pisces. Now with it conjuncting Jupiter there....I just don't know what...I hope for the best...relationships have been very challenging and confusing over the past few years, for sure.

Thank you Joy, this is definitely interesting. I have read up on my placement in the past of Neptune in the 4th, 27 degrees and some of the things you say about it have truth for me, but there is something interesting I read once which I liked. Apparently one can go into a home and feel the atmosphere, whether there are people in it or not. I had this experience when I was looking for an Apt years ago and I went to three different ones in the same complex. Something was not right with the first two and then the third was the one I chose, where I remained for 18years. I did not really know I had that ability. I guess there can be a sensitivity to ones environment with this placement.

Okay Neptune in the IC Square my Mars 😩 this was a dead ringer made me cry. I really needed that

have researched and discovered that I can trace Neptune on the IC on my maternal side all the way back to a grandfather born the son of a civil war soldier in 1877. Cant go any more but that is 5 generations of family in a row with Neptune on IC. My children do not have this placement but my sister does. My father passed away of cancer in 2004. this is my mother's side with the neptune placement.

4 generations back is considered your "personal ancestry" and if you go back 5 generations or more it begins to be considered "generic ancestry". That is what a historian who studies ancestors told me.

Probably the mother would dominate in the composite chart, but during a reading I would check that out.
