I’m so happy that you are studying Neptune, Pluto, and Uranus. I feel that these planets are so important on the subconscious level but more so if any of these planets touch many of your planets because you become Uranian, Neorunian, or Plutonian.

When the moon was in mula I noticed I was watching a James bond movie called spectre. Looking at the mula symbol it is a tree with roots spread out going down and the spectre symbol is an octopus but it’s tentacles all point down just like mulas roots. The entire movie Daniel Craig is trying to get to the bottom of the Spectre organization thought rigorous investigation and research. He was forced to face the truth, which was often very shrewd. He also suffered strong reversals of fate the entire movie which is not uncommon when it comes to Mula. I noticed all of this after reading your latest book.

Yes, Neptune carries the 12th house energy of Pisces which includes addiction. Mainly depressants like alcohol, marijuana and opioids. Also sex addictions and secret sex fetishes. It also deals with depression, illusions and disillusionment or attracting people who have these issues or characteristics . Pluto and the 8th house is also addiction but it is uppers or stimulants like cocaine, meth, crack etc. Neptune is also artistry and creativity. Many artists and actors have Neptune aspects in their natal chart. Pisces artistic energy. Acting, theatre, creative writing and poetry. Negatively aspected you can get con artists, deceitful people, scammers who make you think things are not the way they really are. Making you see what you want to see instead of what is. which leads to eventual disillusionment.

Val, You seem to have some understanding about these things. I am very new to all this and have several readings scheduled but they are months away and I am feeling like a window of opportunity for growth is opening for me to overcome my Neptune aspects that I have no idea how to navigate. Might you (or anyone else reading) have any suggestions related to Neptune and Moon (in Scorpio) conjunct in 12th house, also conjunct Mars in 1st within 1 degree? Until recently, destructive lifelong alcohol issues but continuously other substance addictions, all stimulants. All very covert and easily hidden from others, not life destroying as far as successful functioning but privately very disturbing to me. Every attempt to quit is met with a powerful conviction (from an entity like emergence) that this IS WHO I AM. I simply cannot rest. On some level it feels like a possession. I know that sounds ridiculous but that's my subjective experience. Any books or links that might give guidance on how to transmute these energies into a more constructive assimilation in me?

You nailed it. Neptune is in my first house (Scorpio) along with Jupiter. I was a heavy drinker for most of my life. It was easy for me to drink a 12 pack or more everyday after work. That went on for decades. I’ve been sober now for about 4.5 years. Great breakdown!

@@sonjak8265 Thanks for the suggestions! In high school I played water polo and was on the swim team. I surfed a lot too. I'm not really into boating or photography, but I do play guitar (in hard rock bands), mountain bike, and do home improvement projects these days.

I find it so strange that today I was thinking about Neptune in my first house. I have a stellium in my first house. I read somewhere that having this planet in your first house makes people project their fantasies on to you or it gives people that feeling that you’re “the one”. All of these illusions. Which makes sense because I’ve had a number of stalkers and I’ve had a lot of friends admit that they made up this story about who I am as a person. Looking forward to your Neptune series. I enjoy all your videos!

Insightful interpretation! My Neptune is in my 7th house with Rahu, it's not a close conjunction at all (22º apart) and I I haven't ever stalked people lmao. But I feel I project onto people what I want to believe about them, especially partners. Definitely lived the pattern of ignoring red flags about people, realise that I am pretty impressionable- always led to sorrow but also make for great life lessons. I haven't observed the aspect of addiction that Kapiel talks about tho

Crystal Carr @ Could it possibly be that you’re born 1988-1994 when Uranus and Neptune were conjunct in Sagittarius? I was born June 14th, 1994 and with Sagittarius Lagna 15 degrees Uranus is at 2 degrees Capricorn and Neptune at 29 degrees Sagittarius.

I see adiction to porn and even I knew someone who is a photographer btw. Unable to maintain relationships can't pass through the idealistic romantic phase of a relationship. Living between Constant illusion and Dissapointing because the inevitable imperfections of humans and relationships . Traveling a lot many times a year , (the necessary escape )and fall in love with people long distance or "unavailable" people , like film stars or only fans models etc , spending a lot of money just to speak to a particular girl he feels was in love . Internet and this "virtual atention " could be very addictive and delusional .

Neptune Uranus and Rahu in 5th house in Sagittarius- no addictions, I dont drink, don't smoke, don't use drugs. I am almost 30 and I have been clean all my life. Never did mush or anything like even weed. I am actually even alcohol intolerant. I am currently starting photography and painting. I do have very vivid imagination so that helps creating art. Venus in 12th house 29 degree Ashelsha, moon in 8th house uttara phadapadra pada 2. I did suffer with depression for over decade and severe anxiety and even PTSD but I overcame all of it because I seeked therapy and occult knowledge and now learning to be a healer and tharapist myself, I have bachelors degree in psychology too. Moon aspected by Rahu Neptune and Ketu via jimini aspects I do have many rememberances of my pasts lives, also in one of my previous lifes I got drunk and hung myself - therefore my life is so difficult in this life... and also this gives dealing with mental illness - it is the karma I get for commiting self murder. My karmic lesson in this life time - to not do abuse substances and to not to kill myself.

It's great that you're talking about the outer planets. Among the traditional renowned Vedic astrologers of the past, the only one I know that talked about them and considered them important was Sir Narendra Desai. Addictions of all kinds (to mental/ emotional states, to behaviors/ activities, to substances and to relationships) are the lowest expressions of Neptune. If you study addiction in depth, you'll see that there are strong escapist, illusory and painkilling components in its foundation (these are also Neptune related themes). Pathological lying, deception, cycles of idealization, devaluation and discard, neglect (which is a passive aggressive form of abuse) are also common negative expressions of Neptune. In high expression, Neptune relates to transcendence, connection to source, compassion, charity, artistic and creative endeavors specially those that fabricate something that's not real (acting, for example), spiritual awareness, ability to tap into non physical realms and communicate with discarnate beings, since Neptune is considered the higher octave of Venus. In my observations, Neptune carries some similar themes with both Nodes: the smoky, deceptive, illusory side of Rahu and the spiritual, transcending, enlightening side of Ketu. Indeed, in my own studies, the 3 outer planets carry themes of both Nodes: Uranus has the rule breaking, progressive, unconventional side of Rahu and the liberating, detached side of Ketu; Pluto has the compulsive and obsessive side of Rahu and the transmuting, purifying, occult related, spiritual power of Ketu. I have Venus conjunct Neptune in Scorpio in Jyeshtha Nakshatra in the 6H. I had several people asking me if I had addictions to Venusian themes (including sweets, luxuries, relationships) many times in the past but I'm not, I'm actually kind of detached from those things. I wonder if this is a result of Venus being considered "dead" in the 6H (Maran Karak sthan) and also being in a Parivartana yoga with Mars in Taurus in the 12H. The more I have practiced Vedic Astrology (it's been 10 years now), the more I see that when planets are placed in Maran Karak Sthan houses, this is not necessarily bad but the planet has to learn to operate out of the box, out of its comfort zone. I must say before I even watch this video that I am SOOO beyond proud of you for being open to the outer planets. I have been watching your videos for about seven years now. I have so much respect for your teachings and proudly share your name when speaking about my favorite astrologer. HOWEVER I have been very open to the outer planets for quite some time as Ive used the Western degrees with Vedic Philosophy and was so sad to have seen your videos prior where you denounced their importance in houses vs generation based. Hi sir. I bought your nakshatra e book about few days ago and i couldnt help but notice each nakshatra and see what it plays out. This morning right this moment i woke up with a dream filled with monkeys and the chief of monkey helping me from something and i was jumping around places in my dream. Thank you for delving into the outer planets. Western Astrology is my thing, but I am so appreciative of your takes Vedically. I apply both.

In all the years I have done Tropical Astrology I've perceived Neptune as addiction. In the last 3 years I've noticed a pattern with 12th house moons Neptune and Marijuana.

I did looking up the Neptune video on KZread and when I hear the sounds of Neptune it gave me chilled, like the vibration is so cold metallic and kinda poke to your heart feeling but somehow interesting. Like what you mentioned, it's like a horror films that I would prefer to have some company with me when I watch it. . I'm Scorpio sun moon mercury, Pisces Lagna. Pluto video give me nostalgic feeling like faraway home but Neptune is so deep and more mysterious to me.

With a conjunct Moon & Venus square Neptune I Love photography but realise it can also be too much like an addiction not wanting to let go of waiting for that perfect moment of a shot.....300 shots later...ha ha...and also I noted a very lonely pursuit. I realised that filmmaking would be a better expression of that aspect which I Love Love Love (and fits in with the notion of movement). Also worth checking out asteroid Lumiere which can confirm filmmaking for your watchers. Western astrology Neptune in Scorpio but much prefer Vedic which is in Libra = the arts. Star Blessings Vx

KRSchannel: I have both Neptune and Venus in 10th and I'm only addicted to KZread since Neptune began transiting my 3rd. : ) And, I don't drink, smoke or take drugs -- not even with my Pisces Moon. I guess my Saturn, although in the 12th, just wouldn't allow it. But what that Neptune/Venus has done, among others, is make me a Twin Flame, highly spiritual and creative.

Neptune - rules photography, when aspected by Jupiter.. might go into cinematography, videography , vlogs etc Negative aspects and conjunction might indicate addictions either with the person or people around them.

I have Neptune with Moon in 10th house of Sagittarius. I hate even the smell of smoke and allergic to all such intoxicants. I'm just addicted to teaching and education even I spend my vacations in part time teaching, if not, then I get bored and tensed for being free. I'm very emotional so I get terribly depressed on petty issues for few days but overcome them quickly once I decide to escape from toxic thoughts . I had gone through several traumas in my life that scared my heart & soul & found difficult to come out of hardships but never got addicted to any kind of drugs to reduce depression. I just heal myself by listening to motivational speakers and that's it. I'd like to add more that, I am highly intuitive person, I've seen true dreams-yes, dreams that came true. I always see something in my dream that is going to happen in my future. Sometimes I have been informed through dreams what kind of the harm enemies had done to me previously & how I have to stay careful from them. I think this is all because of Neptune conjunct Moon.

I really like this planet when I learned about it in tropical astrology. In my vedic chart I have both retrograde neptune uranus conjunction in 8th house.

Neptune and Uranus in Sagittarius in my 8th house in my lagna chart. Moon, Venus, Neptune, Uranus in Sagittarius in my 4th house in my navamsa chart.

What I've noticed is that quite a few famous painters have Neptune in the 10th house (e.g. Leonardo Da Vinci and Rembrandt), as well as very glamorous/iconic women have had that aspect (such as Grace Kelly, Princess Diana, and Jackie Kennedy), although others have it on the Ascendant or first house (Marilyn Monroe and Nicole Kidman).

Me too! Addicted to photography. Im modeling now. Take many photos and people really like them. And it helps my mental to be creative with photography.

Neptune conjunct ascendant, moon in piscis, Neptune in Capricorn, Saturn in 12 house. Very very neptunian. I haven’t even seen or heard the video I Just wanted to point out how Neptunian I am, I am very addicted , it’s escapism, reality can be nicer with pleasure , drugs and other escaping tendencies are always present. The only thing that can stop this is spiritual transcendence, but I tried this I couldn’t vibe that much for long, back to my old addicted degenerate self, trying to improve every day, but long way from home.

I think Neptunian people need groundedness the most. Groundedness in the present moment allows to be present to your needs and voids, which may be filled with addictions, or with what truly will be fulfilling

@@wombat6177 yes as well, had a brain lesion, visualized on MRI never diagnosed the cause. And the only allergic one on my family , I even supposedly was allergic to my moms breast milk.

I have Neptune(Retro) and Uranus with Ketu in the 7th (Cancer Asc) and yes I had a big bad anxiety in my Saturn AD (I overcame it thank god) but I am 21 now and I've never in my life even tried alcohol or cigarettes or anything intoxicating. And its not like I haven't been around people who do it. I've been around hundreds of my friends who consume alcohol and I'm there sitting with my apple juice. I really wonder how, I've always wanted to know what makes me this way. Oh and yes I'm vegetarian. My family is not but I never liked non vegetarian food.

@@chadwellington2524 wow!! What a wild conjunction!!! We can look at this a few different ways...moon/mother or moon/mind. So with pluto and the moon the mind is going deep!!! It can also has the power of complete transformation!!! Now add the layer of 7 house...so the people you are in close contact with may be intense as well. To give you a true description I would have to look at the chart and see other variables because the flavor of the conjunction will depend on that.

I usually don't do this. Posting my planetary positions in the comment section and asking super generic questions. But since the subject matter is of my interest I would like to share. I have Neptune and Uranus with rahu in my 7th house. And as you said in the video I had to deal with some serious mental health issues not too long ago. But I did not get into alcohol or drugs like at all. Could that be because of the mutual aspect between rahu and Jupiter that I have in my chart? Would love to know what you have to say about that. As there is not much info available about the outer planets due to lack of reaserch and lack of importance given to them. But I am very much interested in them as they are directly sitting in my 7th with none other than rahu. I should consider your research about as a heads up against drugs. Although honestly I am too much of a control freak to get addicted to anything. But I do have a bad habit of too much day dreaming sometimes. It does affect my focus and I am working on it. Hope you don't mind this long comment of mine. I like to research on these things as well. I would love to collaberate with you one day. Hope my natal chart case helps your research. I would like to see more videos on outer planets.

Hey how is t going long time I still didn’t get the readings I requested but my question would be what is the attribute of Sagittarius Neptune in the 12 house? I do agree that as a member of such formation I have partaken on DmT and ayahuasca but as imaginative as I am I don’t think am deceiving but perhaps do hold back or perhaps am too much. But what’s else does Neptune Sagittarius in the 12 house transmitt into a person?

@@roro17902 saturn actually cuts off all addictions but since the last three planets are the most strongest they have more dominance even over saturn. So you maybe right!

I have moon in close conjunction with Neptune in 6th.. Mom had problems with drinking. I hate alcohol. In exchange I drink Coke too much and cappuccino. No drugs.. Not me never. I lose my mind pretty fast and things becomes heavy for me most of the time. When I can't anymore, I just cry day and night holding my head then I go on. Most of tge time I am scared of death, that someone close to me will die and I will be abandoned. In general I am scared to get close to people just to abandon me later. And the feeling is intense

PLEASE DO NEPTUNE IN HOUSES, etc. I have Natal Neptune at the anaretic 29th degree in Sagittarius in my 3rd House opposing my Natal Moon, blah! I'm researching it because I'm plagued by imagined slights in my abilities and perfectionism causes me great anxiety (which I've nailed down to this Neptune thing going on in my chart...) My Neptune is also sextile my Ascendant, Sun & Mercury in Libra (which really makes me want to write scifi, lol) :) Thanks for all of your info!
