Kaladin is a decently trained surgeon (both by his father and the army). I think that would constitute a little higher intelligence.

I did give him Medicine proficiency for that reason, though it would be better if that were actually an Intelligence based skill rather than Wisdom. I just couldn't justify putting his Intelligence higher than his physical scores.

@@tabletopnephilim4633well Kaladin does show intelligence in words of radiance like for example how he made Adolin think when Kaladin said that Adolin is not unobnoxious that it was a compliment and Shallan did say that Adolin wasn’t as intelligent as Kaladin

IKR, every character has to face something that happened in their past and cope with it. Ans lol, I wasn´t paying attention to the music until I heard FmF. But, yeah the KH series has great soundtracks

There is a Mistborn and Aloy of Law table top game by the same name of Mistborn. Honestly, I like it better that D&D. I feel more rewarded to make an interesting character as character traits can give you dice to add to your role if it fits. Like if my character (baced on my pc "Varrin" a Brute Blood) has well built as a character trait. I can use it for strength checks to get an extra die to the role or an extra Nudge if the extra exceeds the 10 die pool the game sets in the rules. Even finding dice is easier as you only use D6. Instead you use up to 10 dice (baced on your characters stats). If it is an combat encounter, you can split you pool up baced on attack and defeat as you see fit with how meny you may have. If this is your first time hearing of it, I would suggest taking a look at it.

That might be true… Shallan still has the second personality, so it will be Kaladin or (more likely, because his arc is pretty much finished up) Dalinar.

Hi! Congrats on this build! I've been looking for a way to do this with my favourite windrunner for a while. Do you think it would be feasible in 3.5? A play with a party that uses it almost exclusively and I'd love to try it out.

To be honest, I have never played 3.5 and know none of its rules. But from everyone talking about how many option 3.5 has, I'm sure there's some way to finagle it.

I can't seem to find your other comment to reply to, but I will absolutely do a Szeth build in the future. I just have to get through Shalon...and Dalinar...and Lift...and possibly Aedolin first. I also want to see more of what he can do before I try figuring things out, specifically what he can do with the Surge of Division. We've only seen a small hint of it so far. from that one Dustbringer, unless that was Abrasion she used.

That's like saying it's a bit spoilery to give him Radiant powers. If someone doesn't want Stormlight spoiled for them, then maybe they shouldn't watch a video about making one of the main protagonists in DnD. I'm not gonna leave something out just in case someone watching hasn't made it that far yet.

@@alakifan98 Why hide it? It's not like it's a secret in the books that it will happen. Even if you don't know the secret of shard blades and shard plate, it doesn't take a genius to figure out Kaladin's gonna get both eventually. What it doesn't spoil is how he gets them. THAT is the important part. And besides, I KNEW the secret of shard blades going into the series, because I learned about the series from a Skallagrim video where he talked about shard blades. It was him talking about it that got me interested. And guess what! Sometimes that's how you get someone into something! Dangle something juicy in front of them, like someone getting a special power, or showing them a cool fight scene from halfway through a show. If it interests them, then they'll want to see how the thing happened. And with a story as massive as Stormlight, hell, even just The Way of Kings, you really need something to get them invested (pun intended), or they might get overwhelmed by the sheer size of it. I had to drag a friend back into Words of Radiance by hinting that Amaram was going to meet Wit and get roasted. And if knowing the surprise ahead of time ruins it for you, it was probably poorly written to begin with. A good twist will always have breadcrumbs hinting at what will happen. If you manage to piece them together ahead of time, it adds to the anticipation. If you don't, it gives the story rewatch value, as you start to see those hints the second or third time through and think "How the hell did I miss that?" If it's only good once, it wasn't really that good to begin with. In short, if my video and it's spoilery thumbnail are what gets someone to enter the Cosmere, then I've done my due diligence as a member of the community. The Journey may be more important, but sometimes it helps to know the Destination.
