Nepal Trek 1 - Jiri to EBC 2023 - Part 1 Kathmandu to Jiri
A group of Kiwi trekkers join an organized private trek from Jiri to Everest Base Camp via Renjo La and Chola La passes. Part 1 includes a detailed account of time spent in Kathmandu, travelling to Jiri and checking out the amazing little town.

I have to say your hotel was sooo much classier than ours Roy, and we visited the temple after we got back, as you may see in part 3..Nice to see a different area of Kathmandu..We were smack in tbe middle..lol..

Stayed at Hotel Shanker, very flash hotel and great stay for not much money see that in Part 1. All video and pics from IPhone 11 Max and video edited via Shotcut
This is first trekking route to EBC
Enjoyed that roy really well put together look forward too watching the rest ✌️

EBC means Jiri to basecamp not from lukla to basecamp , enjoy EBC trek

people blame the governement for the undevelopment of the country,but its the people themselves who are behind this that poor river where the population is not more is so polluted ,we cant imagine the places in nepal where the population is booming

Rubbish and pollution is certainly a problem but efforts are being untalented to clean up and manage rubbish/ plastics etc on the main trekking routes from Lukla. Actually it was pretty clean overall but could easily get back to being out of hand if they don’t keep on top of it.
