I present the first issue of a delightful immersion in the early elements of trance music 1988 - 1990 year.
In the mix: works by English colleagues KLF (Bill Drumond, Jimmy Cauty) officially considered one of the initiators of the genre;house Age Of Chance project with amazing melody Time's Up (Timeless) crossgenre branch House and New-beat towards trance music;
rare remix from electronic geniuses in the album Orbital team Shamen; early track team Future Sound Of London Mental Cube project in 1990 with the beeps sound, works of German musicians Jam El Mar, Dj Dag powerful project in the 90's Dance 2 Trance; brilliant record of U.S. musicians Mundo Musique, Lenny Dee, Victor Simonelly ....and of course the world-famous track Age Of Love from the Belgian producer Bruno Sanchioni with original plates in 1990. I note that many beginners learn the origins of trance mistakenly believe remix 1992 by Jam & Spoon over the original version. In fact, in the original version sounded totally different way, interspersed with hip hop.In the mix presented an excerpt Boeing Mix, closer to all the well-known sound of Jam & Spoon. Apart from trance I also like techno, house, drum n bass, EBM (not to be confused with EDM), synthwave, electronic rock and metal, eurodance, electronic music from the 80s like synthiepop for example and 90s or music inspired by these times. But overall I like electronic music. These are just my favorites.

The reason I started to play was that I feel a part of electronic music history is forgotten or underappreciated, I want to pick up this kind of music and serve it to the dancefloors here in Berlin. Do you know of any youtube videos or history of music specials where they go in and explain trance types, or electronic music movements that developed and how they evolved while playing tracks surrounding what they're talking about? Sort of like History of New Music but more for electronic music or trance?

1990? I was 20, had 2 radioshows/week in Brussels about Acid House-House-Techno, going to at least 4 or 5 clubs/weekend, totally immerged into the electronic music scene from 1987 till 2006. And this mix is very nice, great selection to define where Trance found its triggers. Maybe I'd like to count with The Prodigy "Pandemonium" too, but that's me. :-) Party on! You didn't forget The Shamen and Mr C, that's great.
