@Karlimo I think when people say they miss it, you need to read between the lines a bit and not take it literally. They miss the game, but they miss when the game was center front, when they were younger, the period of time which was more simple and relaxed ( 2000 -2010 ), nobody cared how you dress, people just went to LANs or played at home de_Rats, fy_iceworld and shit like that on publics. It was a different time.

I'm old enough to remember when 1.6 was considered the laggy dud successor of 1.5 because of the change in netcode. Years later we've only gotten worse and 1.6 looking like the champ.

Except everyone abandoned 1.6 theres barely 30 servers up last time i played in like 2020 not even covid brough back the old players. I got over 5000 hours logged

currently playing cs extreme with zombie and custom weapons, believe it or not there are still players in server lobby~! Just.. It take a while to join their games, bunch of custom stuff to download for each map.

Last round was so Epic 😊
