Shabani doesn't even want it! Poor Nene! Her little face says it all! She's quite the gorilla! I always enjoy any of the clips with her as the main focus! She makes me laugh with her facial expressions 🥰❤️

It's not often that Shabani does things like that. Clearly, he was making a point to his wife. I think he reminded her of her place because he fully knows that Kiyomasa and Ai are much more loyal to Nene. He's an intelligent enough gorilla to understand that he needs to reassert his leadership role over her.

Rarely Shabani takes the food from someone from his troop. He isn’t food obsessed like some gorillas but i think he did this time to show her he is still the silverback and he will take more hard decisions next time!

Shabani has tried to take food from Ai, but she's not having it. He also tries to take food from Kiyo but he runs away all the time.😊

I love the way she just sat down next to him and watched him eat her food. I know he didn't feel guilty - they are, after all just animals. But Nene was NOT happy. I wonder why he would do such a thing? It's not like he can't find his own. I also wonder he "remembers" that Nene was once his mate.

He did that to assert his authority over her since she undermining him when he was trying to correct Kiyo. Shabani is a very intelligent gorilla and he knows he can’t count with Kiyo, Ai and nene. Good for him!

When Shabani took Nenes food the subtitles said 'my father took it'. Shabani isn't her son. 😀🤔😀

He is the silverback he has a right too! That's how it works in gorilla world. Nene knows it aswell, that's why she didn't kick up a fuss. Nene can go get more leaves no problem. There is no need to use fowl towards Shabani. That is a natural behaviour of gorillas. He is doing nothing wrong.
