This was the first performance after Tamu, the drummer, returned from maternity leave, which is why they face her in this instance. And Hazuki, the guitarist with the Ibanez guitar and glasses, celebrated her birthday, which is what they are doing during those BTS moments captured in the video. And this was the surprise song for Tamu, I believe, as they told her to learn her drumming parts, but without knowing the full song. It is a very special song for members of Nemophila as you may imagine.

This song is Emotional for these Women. Unlike many Western bands these girls are Band Sisters and Truly Love Each other as such. This is why the Japanese Female bands resonate so well with World audiences. They are Genuine as well as World Class Talented.

This is basically Nemophila’s theme song and is very important to them. At this performance Saki , on the right of stage, gave a speech to drummer Murata Tamu welcoming her back after her maternity leave. The speech was very emotional with Saki breaking down followed by the band. This shows how close these ladies are to each other now. Something their fans respect and love.💙🤘🔥🎸💕🥁🇯🇵

The footage for this music video is based on their live streaming on August 22, 2020, and their backstage appearance. The live streaming took place on August 22, 2020, after the second show scheduled for May 2020 was postponed due to COVID-19. Their band was formed in August 2019, which is exactly one year to the day. The drummer, Murata-Tamu, had actually given birth on May 2, so a substitute drummer was booked for this streaming live, but she eventually joined the event herself. In fact, Murata-Tamu, who was already on maternity leave, did not participate in the first live performance, so this was the first time for all five members to perform together at a live venue. Mayu announced for the encore, "I'm going to sing this song for Murata-Tamu," and the performance began. Surprised by this, Murata-Tamu was moved to tears from the beginning of the song, and all the other members were also shedding tears of joy that all five members could perform together. The lyrics of this song are a perfect tribute to Murata-Tamu, who has just given birth to a child.

This is the one song that demonstrates the true brilliance of Nemophila. It's not something they could do time and time again which is what makes it as special as it is. And for the record, a real man is secure enough in their masculinity to shed a tear when warranted. In this instance, it's only an outward manifestation of empathy, something the world is in far too short a supply of at the moment.

This is by far my favorite song of theirs by far. This song was written for and dedicated to Tamu their drummer after returning from maternity leave from the band. That's why they were all gathered in a circle facing her. She didn't even know the lyrics till this performance, that's why you see the camera focused on her so much and why she was so emotional in this. It' was also Hazuki's birthday. Hazuki told the others in the band the best gift she got was Tamu returning to the band. ( according to an article I read ) The First time they performed this live Mayu broke up big time, she couldn't finish the song. But the audience did. It's a very personal song for them.

Mayu's voice is "one of a kind". You never know which voice she is going use. Some odds and ends, did you notice Hazuki's glasses?; Mayu and Haraguchi were school mates, They look to Tamu to lead as she has the most experience in the industry (per Saki). Your next Nemophila react should be "Monsters" another WOW in regard to Mayu's singing.

I'm glad you both took the time to listen to this special song. One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. I´d say, this song to tell my own story as well. I always get goosebumbs all over my body. A beautiful emotional melody and an absolutely amazing vocal from the singer mayu. I love her voice. She is one of the best singers and Nemophila is one of the best metal bands today. Nemophila is a human heart with great musical talent. I've been listening to Metal and Rock for over 30 years, but I've never found a band as human as Nemophila. Nemophila is not a band, but a family. Like sisters. I am extremely happy to have found this exceptional metal band in Japan. Have a good day with my heartfelt greetings :-).

This was the third track on their first single with Oiran and Monsters. Set against those two it was kind of a let down in terms of speed etc. but it has endured to be a favorite with pretty much everyone - it’s just an excellent song and stands in the history of world music as such. Sadly it’s not going to get the recognition it so richly deserves, but at least those that know, know. This also proved their versatility, they are top tier musicians and can give the right treatment to anything to give it that extra bite that makes good great.

Musically speaking, this band has no limit in terms of creativity and songwriting. The best proof of that is their three tracks they released in the past three months: Ray of Light, Adabana and Style. No copy/paste from one track to the next one, they always succeed to surprise us track after track. This is truly insane. You can also try the power ballad "Game Over" from their album Revive (no MV for this one), but this is an EPIC song too. Enjoy! 😉

Great band. Their music rocks, bangs, brutal at times, and very emotional at times. Folks explained here, why this performance was special, with Tamu. This song has me crying, despite not knowing a word sung. Music is universal. Mayus vocals, snd Hazuki, and Sakis guitars cry out in this.

Yeah, this song = turn on the waterworks, every damn time. One of their very best, and that's saying a LOT as Nemophila have become, in their mere three years of existence, my very favorite band. Absolutely amazing live (yeah, I was at the show at Whisky a Go Go...), as was the whole set. There's a video out there with on-screen (not CC) lyrics in English and romaji with much better translation.

With 'Life' these ladies have created a masterpiece, which is already a timeless classic for me. The sound and the lyrics go so wonderfully hand in hand and also under the skin. And the solo section? If that doesn't scream to be played in a stadium in front of tens of thousands of people, then I don't know what does. This song has rightly become something of an anthem for this band, with which they end their shows. Sure, this performance is primarily dedicated to their drummer Murata Tamu, who was playing with the ladies for the first time after giving birth to her child, but the meaning of the lyrics is actually directed at each and every one of us and every single person out there. Oh, and while we're talking about dear Tamu, I'd like to recommend Nemo's cover of X Japan's 'Kurenai'. :) _____________________ 【 _Till I return to dust I will stand alone in the dark with my pride at the end of time_ 】- from *Nemophila* - '徒花 -Adabana-' 💮
