The thing with BABYMETAL is that they've been going hard for 12 years now... sadly sealed for an undisclosed amount of time. BUT since they were so young every performance and songs they perform just get better and better as their voices have matured over the years. Their EPIC performances from the past are even more EPIC now when they perform most of their catalog in their shows. BABYMETAL live is LIFE BABYMETAL FOREVER 🤘🤘🤘

That was a great megabowl. Lovebites sounded so heavy and hard and I loved closing the bowl out with their song. Asami's belts were awesome.

"Above the Black Sea" was inspired by the various suicide units that Imperial Japan used during WWII. Some people say it's part of a trilogy with "The Apocalypse" and "Under a Red Sky," two songs which are specifically about Hiroshima's atomic bombing, but I say it's at best a gaiden - a side story to those two songs. But no one really cares about a fan's semantics anyway! As far as the venue goes, it's been closed down. Thanks a lot, covid! "Megitsune" kills live. I like video, especially Su pulling the knife from the microphone, but having seen a few live videos, there's no comparison. Nemophila covered it and did a damn good job. Of course they did.

I saw the unboxing video that you guys released the other day and the LOVEBITES bluray Daughters of the Dawn this LOVEBITES song as the others (the ones were they are wearing the same outfits as this video and the same stage they are performing on “Mynavi Blitz” is from that Bluray witch if you haven’t watched it yet I guarantee you’ll love it my personal favourite is Epilogue the only true metal ballad by LOVEBITES it’s a song written by Asami both the music and lyrics. Another great bowl 🤘

The horns they were wearing was because it was during Halloween 2020. They also did a Hell o ween cover too during that time.

I'm not that big of a fan of Nemo's covers as other people, but this Whole Lotta Rosie one is really good. I think both Mayu's and Brian Johnson voices are similar somehow, both have that rough raspy feel. Megitsune is a good track, but yeah, Babymetal try to experience them live for the best.

In a way Babymetal do record more live than in studio, because they have released some 15 or 16 DVDs of their live shows, but only 3 studio albums. Many of us fans prefer to enjoy the band here on KZread for that exact reason. Not only do they actually sound better live, but the choreography, crowd interaction, and overall spectacle takes it all to another level. I listen to Babymetal daily, but generally by having their live shows playing on the projector in the background. The next performance of theirs that you need to see is probably _Road of Resistance (live in Japan)._ Perhaps not their best song, and far from their biggest or most extravagant show, but at least it's available here on KZread. And even if you end up not liking the song, you can always appreciate the insane athletic feat of Hideki's drumming🙂

Good reactions - and yes Babymetal should always be experienced live, they sound better without all the studio over-processing the vocals and you get all the energy they give to (and get back from) the crowd ... plus they just go harder with the Kami Band backing them.
