The video for Neputa Go Home (Neputa no Mondoriko) was made by a fan (who had won a video creation contest for another Ningen Isu song - Shin Seinen Maegaki), and if I recall correctly the animation was created from drawings the bass player (Kenichi Suzuki) had made.

"Neputa", or "Nebuta" is the name of a local festival in Aomori Prefecture, the northeast region of Japan, and the home of Wajima and Suzuki. It is the famous festival in Japan. Suzuki on bass, is particularly loves Neputa, and every summer he seems to return from Tokyo to his home, Hirosaki City for Neputa. However, for the last two years the festival has been cancelled due to the Corona disaster. The second MV is an animation made by a fan last year, based on the pictures Suzuki drew. The song, "Neputa no mondoriko (Neputa, go home)" itself can be recorded on their 17th album, "Mandoro (萬燈籠)" in 2014. Thank you from Japan.

Hi Mr. Minami. The founder of Circle K is Minami too. I thought Nebuta is pronounced in Hirosaki city and Neputa is pronounced in the northern Shimokita-Hanto area :)?

I heard that the Nebuta Festival is a famous festival held in various parts of Aomori Prefecture, and it is called "Nebuta" in Aomori City and "Neputa" in Hirosaki City. However, this seems to have been decided after the festival was designated as a national important cultural property, and historically, it was just a kind of accent in the language, Aomori dialect, and Aomori people called it whatever they wanted.

Their main influence is Black Sabbath, which you can definitely hear in a lot of their great riffs. Shinji Wajima even plays a Gibson SJ, just like Tony iommi did.
