NEMESIS - ORIGINAL (1994-2022) Off-Ride - Alton Towers, England
The iconic Nemesis roller coaster with the original colors. 4K Off Ride Video of the rides final operating season. One of the most incredibly designed roller coasters ever. Nemesis at Alton Towers. There's not many roller coasters that take place under you as you walk up, but this is exactly what Alton Towers accomplished by building Nemesis into a large blasted-out hole. Due to restrictions on the height of rides at the England theme park, nemesis was built down instead of up.

Old. I think they better suit the earthy/natural colours of the surroundings, plus the 'black and pop of colour' aesthetic Alton have used so many times before has become really cliched.

I love both! The old track did look a bit run down at the end of its life, but when it got repainted in the mid-2010s, it looked fantastic. As long as the new track looks fresh for years to come, I don't mind the new colours.
Nemesis (Oringinal) should always rank in the top 5 roller coasters of the world. I would ride this forever. Intense, superbly themed, well laid out, one feautre straight into another. There is nothing bad about this ride at all. Even waiting in line was (almost) fun. Let's hope the rework maintains all of this.
