She completely changed the conversation. Straight up lied to make it sound more dramatic. The conversation was about eyesight and Fred's not being very good because of his age. She's saying he used the comment to condescend her because she wanted her food made a certain way, and then threw the dead dad card in there. What a ridiculous person.

Nella didn't handle it well but I guess her Dad is a very sore spot to her as he passed away in 2020. People handle grief differently and she's someone who clearly doesn't want to speak in reference to her dad, even if its a light hearted joke. Did she handle it well? No. But why call her a perpetual victim when this is the only thing she's had an issue with? Dog Whistles, ey?

How Nella spoke to Fred was far worse than what she’s being ‘offended’ by! Even the way she articulates her self is child like, I hope she reflects on this and progresses! I lost my dad and customers at work often say they’re old enough to be my parent, it just makes me smile they’re trying to relate to you! The way she addressed her parents being no longer here is so confrontational and I feel so sorry for Fred and the rest of the camp being put in this position!

He said "I'm old enough to be your dad" which made sense in the context not "hey you, I could be your dad" randomly. In contrast, Fred handled it with WAY more maturity and kindess than I would have. I'd happily accept her invitation to never communicate again as I imagine many people have done in the past! Also, I swear there are so many of these clowns among my generation now! Fred saying ‘I’m old enough to be your dad’ had nothing to do with her parents and had nothing to do with his ‘apparent attitude’ to her wanting to do cooking. It was only about his own age. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from her. I hope when she grows up and realises her mistake, Fred turns to her and says ‘no you only get one chance to disrespect me’. More 'Nasty' than Dangerous. Fred spoke in innocence and voiced a unilaterally accepted saying that resonates with older people the world over, she adopted a toxix reply situation to manipulate and shame, same as she did with Farage. Fred IS in fact, pld enough to be her father - But I am certain that he will be VERY GLAD that he is thankfully, NOT her father. Miserable, childish example of self inflicted bad behaviour and tantrum damage being falsely blamed on an innocent individuaol like Fred. She's not done a lot for her female image. About the same as her dietary image which she clearly also is in denial about - some standards she adopts in her lifestyle - all bad !!!

I love watching Nella's content as I find her hilarious and I think she has a great and hilarious personality. I've seen some comments about her receiving backlash after being on this show which I've never watched but wanted to watch a clip to gain context. I don't know who the Fred person is but my takeaway and it's pretty obvious that his comment was blown out of proportion. She took his comment entirely out of context and got really defensive about a topic which she feels sensitive about and her feeling sensitive about her recently passed father is entirely fine and she has the right to not want to speak about it and that should be respected however I can see Fred never meant any harm and was literally talking about their age difference. He was very polite and considerate in approaching her to ask what was wrong, heard her out and gave her a genuine apology. My sense is that Nella has maybe been belittled or bullied by other people so she has a very reactive and defensive attitude and does not tolerate disrespect, as she shouldn't but I think she should work on her feelings that others are belittling her in conversation by working on her confidence. I don't think she deserves to be cancelled for this as everyone makes mistakes and this can serve as an opportunity for reflection and growth as she still is young and can really mature from this experience.

She will soon regret not eating anything Fred cooks as at the moment he is doing all the cooking including the rice and beans. That's probably why she didn't try harder in that trial because she knew she wasn't going to eat any food so having a small bag would make it easier for her. She needs to act her age and apologise so she can eat otherwise she will make herself ill.

The girl needs to be booted out asap by organisers; she has a toxic attitude and NOT beneficial to the ideals of the show. Way out of order and too much airtime....we will stop watching the show if she stays after first evictions. Nasty contestant...spiteful behaviour that is now directed at Nigel; she has no idea what she is talking about. A poisonous girl bringing shame on our brilliant KZread and her channel.

When someone loses a parent or both in the traumatic way that she has, and as she mentioned, she had taken the brave step to be vulnerable with him and open up about something she rarely speaks about, it is wildly insensitive for him to reference a father, even if it is in passing, or meant figuratively. And when he didn't check himself when she bristled, and just repeated it again, shows that he was being obtuse. It was an ill-timed and unfortunate comment on his part. He may not have intended it to cause pain, but being let into someone's very vulnerable, private space and then a few short hours later disconnecting, can be hurtful to someone. I think Nella showed a human reaction. It's not entertainment tv, it's her real life. I miss in these comments where people hold the guy accountable for saying something that was ill-timed and said with little thought. It's like someone making an awkward war analogy or joke, to someone who just explained all the family they lost in a war. "I didn't intend to cause pain" doesn't negate the fact that it did. I see in the comments an inability or unwillingness to connect with this lady's pain. People are giving him a whole lot of grace and empathy and offering her none. Immediately connecting with his discomfort and unable to connect with hers. "poor fred, i feel so sorry for him, she's so disrespectful. she's vile, drama queen, her career is over". That's interesting. And sad. Nella you are a real one. Grief looks different for everyone. I'm also wondering about the producers of the show, who are offering this exchange for entertainment value, in a way that leaves this lady out on a ledge, unprotected from public ridicule. Just how they have introduced and framed this video sets the tone for the public to attack her. Lots of views, good for you. Following stereotypical tropes is easy business I guess, some quick cash at her expense. It''s a lazy, and a highly irresponsible judgment call by the producers. Where are the brave ones on your staff, who actually had a moment there to make a difference? Sending love from Germany, Nella.
