Neil Young & Crazy Horse - "Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black)" (Live)
Taken from the VHS release of "Rust Never Sleeps: A Concert Fantasy." Was surprised to see many of the incredible performances from this concert film not uploaded to KZread. I'd venture to call it a masterpiece of the genre.

This slaps harder than anything out there including Sabbath.
This is DEFINITELY the best Neil Young live footage video! I was raised on classic rock from birth and this song came out the year I was born which is cool to know.
Neal Young & Crazy Horse are among my favourites since the 70's, I must have listened to that Live Rust double album over a thousand times! Thanks a bunch for sharing this!
this sound is my religion, my god and the love of my life
Pancho wearing a Montreal Canadiens jersey like a boss playing rhythm guitar on his Goldtop Gibson Les Paul and Neil playing Old Black.
Watched this in Manila 44 years ago. Back in the day when a ticket buys you a seat in the movie house for the entire day. Sat through multiple screenings of this classic concert film for 2 specific reasons. 1. Great music from the immortal NY 2. Stoned out of my effin’mind and unable to stand up.
Who'd of guessed that Neil Young invented grunge rock? This song sounds grunge and some parts even sound like Nirvana! This song and version is amazing!!
I love the way the bassist walks around
he can sure make that guitar scream when he wants to man, this is my favorite live song pretty much of all time
Grunge before Grunge
Once you gone you can NEVER come back when your out of the blue in into the black
i hate to be that annoying youth who's like "i was born in 2004 and i love this music i wish i lived in this time" but that's how i feel abt it. my parents never played any neil young so i only came across this album a couple years ago when i was super duper depressed and it instantly connected w me. i barely listen to it now bc it takes me back to that time but i love it and i Love this version
Still sparkling wine in 2024 🎉
Bill Talbot finally gives in and takes his bass for a walk at
Can't argue with that . . .
One of my favorite pieces that I can never hear often enough. I still remember exactly how proud I was to have finally found the record in a store back in 1979. Back then, music wasn't available at all times like it is today; for some records you had to spend weeks traipsing around stores.
Neil Young is one of the best lead guitarists
The contrast with the accoustic version, is so stark. The heavy stomping, even rage in some versions. A reaction of the guitar of this thought it was “beautiful” and Folk,…yet they didn’t note The King vs Rotten lyric…and, didn’t know how lyric from this, used by Kurt C’ at his chosen death, really disturbed Neil Y’. This is a song of transition in music, and emotion, and generation.
The best neil young live I have ever seen and heard. Awesome
this is what an artist is.....his repetoire of songs amazing and so many iconic and memorable to many of us for so many different reasons !
