@@bobs8005 Indeed, very well said! All the best and much respect!
Exactly what i think when I think about stories future and finished, you need to have that ambition inside of you to keep you going and keep improving until the world knows about your fantastic stories and praises them nonstop
Such profound advice from Mr Gaiman! ✨
It is an interesting dynamic. On one hand...you need that ego, arrogance, and confidence to propose your idea and share it with the world. To truly believe your idea is sooooo good it is worth everyone's attention. But you also need to prepare yourself for rejection when the world doesn't see it the same way you do. But you must press on. Or all art dies. Well....all good art anyway ;)
Very interesting indeed! I still have his book on Norse mythology in my personal library but I haven't yet read it (I will though). I mostly agree with him, but I would replace arrogance with conviction. The thing is, if I understand this correctly, Neil uses these two terms interchangeably to denote the very same thing and, for me, that is confidence. Very beautiful message! Thank you very much for sharing it and all the best! 😊
epic advice from a 40 year old man dating a 23 year old and prior to that talking to a 16 year old fan for 2 years and started dating her when she turned 18, thank you mr. gayman.
Focus On SELF. It's So Many Lessons Within That Perspective That You Would Otherwise Overlook And Take For Granted. Your Great, It's Ok Not To Know, Be Grateful.
Neil does not take "no" for an answer. 😕
What about as a human 🙃
