@@MoonSpinners I agree, because those sets can be rebuilt. As for Ramsay street and other outside locations where neighbours is filmed, those places will remain, so you never know if another investor comes along, or the Australian government funds it.

@@lg5819 …exactly, there’s been such a global outpouring of sadness at it’s ending, I just cannot understand why someone hasn’t saved it, or now at least some thoughts about bringing it back at a later date.

Monday 1/8 6pm ish. I just switched onto channel 5, then realised Neighbours is no longer there. It came as a real jolt I can say, and nothing can replace it.Thank you so much to all the cast and crew that have come and gone over 36 years, you gave us Brits so much pleasure and we will really miss you. Annie is simply the sweetest human.

I just watched the final episode. Neighbours has just always been there, even when you weren't watching it, it was there in the background.I thought Neighbours would always be there. It's sad that it's finished now. It will be re-runs for me now 😆 😊 🖥

I will miss the show very very much I grew up watching it and was lucky enough back in 1993 to see Annie doing another TV show it feels so good to have seen her and have also been on the set of Neighbours I've been to Ramsay Street and I love it I will always remember the show with all my memorabilia and my DVDs such a heartbreaking time for us all to lose this wonderful show that gave us so much pleasure there will never be another one like you thank you so much for the memories and a cast a wonderful actors I hope in the future they do get pretty good jobs and they go a long way they are incredible and we are also lucky to have a show like that on in our lives will always miss the show what's a sad night it is😥😪

Please please release the History book as an actual book!!!!

We are going to miss Neighbours. Thank for all the years of complete happiness that you gave us. Myself becoming 44 on the 8th August, can not believe how this show is coming to an end. I hope that one day neighbours will surprise us and we will be reuinted with a christmas special , of how the current ramsey street of today is going on, would love to see it. What's going to happen to this beautiful set when neighbours comes to an end. Thank you for hosting Jane you look very beautiful and did a fabulous job as always. I hope that we get to see the neighbours characters once again, in the filming industry soon. Good luck every one. xx

I grew up with this show it was born the same year I was, even when I missed episodes there was always that comfort it was still there in the background and it was never hard to catch up on what was happening, another thing that made life great is gone, I’m feeling nostalgic already. I’ll miss when times were simpler and I’ll miss this show and it’s characters

Hope it comes back one day. Maybe do one special a year have Paul Robinson in Newyork as a mini series and put the Hoff in it as his rival.

When Stefan Dennis shows the building of Electrical Engineering, I was amazed.🙂 For what I understand is that Paul Robinson's father Jim was an engineer. But years had passed after Jim Robinson pass away and I wonder why no other characters who are engineers have made an appearance. The reason I'm saying this is because I'm interested in engineering something I would love to learn in the future.👨‍🏭😊

My cousin was in Neighbours she played Marie Wilmont applying for a job at the surgery back 94

I've seen all these when I came over to visit Australia. My daughter organised a trip there it was very memorable for me. I really loved Neighbours more, when I came back home. A lovely experience!!!

This is so so sad that this soap has came to an end we are all going to miss it so much, had tears in my eyes watching the final what a good end you all put in but sad one by far, it’s just ashame that no viewers was taking under consideration before cancelling… a poll should have been created to ask the public at least… looking forward to Uk tour booked my ticket 😊

They did have petitions in attempt to save the show. But it couldn't be saved, but now there are petitions to revive the show and bring it back.

Thank you neighbours. I got to go on the neighbours tour recently but I was really wanting to see behind the scenes properly like this. I already feel lost without my neighbours.

As I mourn the loss of the neighbours this week, this video has been great to show my brain that it's not real it's make-believe which is helping with the grieving process :)

With all the set’s being dismantled or destroyed, they should bring them over to the UK for fans who have never been fortunate to go over to Australia for the tour. Obviously they can’t bring Ramsey Street to us at least we get a glimpse of life on set

*I hope Alan and Jackie and Ryan pick up work after this. they are amazing Aussie actors who carried this show for many years. sadly Aussie drama shows are lacking these days. I really miss the 90s when we had Neighbours, Home and Away and Blue Heelers and All saints. a lost time*

Well, it's not England's fault, why should they pay the majority for a show that's Australian, it's Australia who underfunded it for years, the UK kept it on air, evident when they pulled out no one in Australia bought it.

I watched the first episode during the summer holidays when I was 14 and when I went back to school in September I was devastated because we didn't have a video recorder 🥲. Two nights ago I watched the last ever episode as a 51 year old, it all goes to fast 🥲
