I am glad, Dean, that you no longer rate the neighborhoods. This project has morphed into something that needed ratings into something entirely more cinematic and expansive in scope/concept. It is a thrill to check out every new thing you do, and while I know this concept is going to get old, I hope that takes a long time.... Well done, sir....well done, indeed! As a patreon of yours, I only ask that the vids become a tad longer... I want to know more about each area...more footage, more people...more community. But you continue to do "you" Dean....

Great segment with Diane Samuels and the Houses of City of Asylum (8:14). I had no idea there is that thoughtful sanctuary. Love her new found perception on life. I have always welcomed the expansion of perception but it can be overwhelming so you have to pick and choose like picking a neighborhood to explore.

Another wonderful view of our city. The War Streets are a favorite of mine. I love your unique view through the camera on how to see and feel where you are. I like old houses too for their soul (Rod McQuen wrote a poem about that) and that is what your videos have as well, and bring out in the neighborhoods you explore, as well as the people you may talk to. You are one very talented young man. One other note...the music in this video and others... beautiful.

What a well done video. The Randyland part is fascinating and the guy that sells beer, it almost makes you feel like you went back in time 50 years looking at that place. The Squirrel and the Bird thing was freaking hilarious.. In the beginning, I thought you were talking to some older woman, and kept thinking, why doesn't she want to be on camera. Lmao.

The snowing scene at the end is simply beautiful, absolutely beautiful! Hey, wanted to mention- there's another youtube video where the guy drove through Pittsburgh & titled it "worst parts of Pittsburgh". I commented that a person can drive through any city in the usa & see the same stuff, and didn't help driving through during middle of winter. I also included if people want to see what Pittsburgh really looked like to look you up. I had several comments from my post, and several people mentioned you & how they really love your work. Just thought you should know. Keep it up.

I would never get rid of Lead Zeppelin's stairway to heaven, or my pink Floyd albums. My favorite thing to do back in the day was to canvass the "Cut outs' (discounted, out of print, etc) albums at NRM or Oasis , Steadfords on East Ohio Street, and so forth.
