    2 жыл бұрын

@@mockingbird3099 I doubt it, where I live the power lines are along the curb line and trees tower well above them. If the utility lines are very high on towers the utility usually owns the right of way, then the utility will keep vegetation low. But anyway, I guess one to hire is an arborist to evaluate a concerned tree, but if the tree is on another’s property, and is not crossing the property line vertically as well, it’s not your property, but once it crosses you can do something about it. I had a problem with a neighbor who’s pine tree was towering and dumping sap all over my car no matter where on the driveway. What a mess to clean the car every day. Wipers and all. So I hired a service to clear it vertically, the guy said the tree should come down, I said the guy refused and was broke, so he did it as I payed him, when finished the tree was leaning a lot away from me being lopsided, I didn’t care if it came down it would go his way. I didn’t care at all, his property. Just needed a good blow. As far as I was concerned, not being an expert, I believe no liability can come my way. But the bottom line I would say, consult with a lawyer who knows the law. The sap on the windshield and wiper blades make driving dangerous, so that’s enough. But if the guy still refuses, I bet the lawyer would advise me to pay for it down, then sue him for the cost. Even the cost to get the sap off the car which isn’t easy once it bakes on in the sun.

First: A tree on your property adds value to the entire property. Second: A good Arborist's testimony in court can prove that the lawyer, by virtue of wreckless endangerment, did cause the house to be in danger of having a tree fall on it at the first time a storm had winds coming from the right direction. Third: Therefore the lawyer can be made to not only pay for the tree to be cut down but also for the lowered property value that results from his actions. Fourth: The lawyer, knowing he hasn't a leg to stand on because he endangered your property, will likely agree to pay for having the tree removed(out of court) rather than be brought to court where he will loose the case.

You have a way of putting into words what i could never articulate. Thanks. Also i agree with you about property lines and trees, i was taught the opposite, hang a sheet above the line and cut there. Hate to say i have done that for a few customers who didnt get along. I will be taking your approach from now on. Be Well you and yours

Young neighbor of mine just did four removals inside a non-accessible hotel courtyard. His employees were allowed to walk into the center court, but not move anything bigger than they could carry, through the building. They dropped the trees similar to this video. As soon as the first one was down they used a crane to fly a stump grinder in. They flew all the debris and logs out in large canvas totes, ground all the stumps, and flew all the chips and the grinder back out.
