Just used ur deck, and after losing round of silver conquest. I gave it another shot. I got an infinite ticket. It has a weakness to high evo decks if ur not high rolling, but it was pretty good vs everyone else so far. Even rogue came in clutch stealing a big knull that I was also able to mystique Update I went on a win streak and now I have 3 infinite tickets

The Magik OTA change in very fun. With the cards coming in September for the Loki season (I know things are subject to change, but based on what’s been leaked) Mr.Negative is gonna be everywhere. Glad to see you having fun him in a more midrange tempo style deck rather than a greedy one.

Finally Mr Negative is coming back to TLSG channel. Never getting bored watching Mr Negative deck. I myself hesitate to play Negative decks on ladder or on conquest. But maybe I'm' gonna give it a shot. Thank you so much for the content. Team Basket are really happy btw lol

I agree. Magik at 3 cost is so flexible. Even being able to just do magik + other cheap cards on 5 feel so much better. And if you save it until T5 you're still protecting yourself from SM lockout plays. I think this was a great nudge to build up some extra location cards in your deck leading into Legion releasing next week!

Watched this video 2 hours ago and started playing it shortly after. At infinite I’ve had 8 mirror matches already. Great video and fun deck.

I love how fun and wild this deck is. One thing I’ve really tested too is Sera Bounce and it feels very good as well. My only losses sadly were to crap locations (I had Deaths Domain AND sanctum type of stuff)

This negative deck has really caught on, for better or worse. It's now all I'm facing in Ranked, not just in Conquest.

Three gold tickets so far, thank you for reviving one of my favorite archetypes.

Playing a similar version of this deck with dazzler in the spot of Wolfsbane and a Sera in place of Bast. I feel like even if you lose a bit of power by not including Bast, you gain a lot of consistency, and can switch into a Sera Surfer gameplan when you don't play Negative. Plus I really think that Dazzler is really slept on in this style of decks: she gets massive most of the times and people don't really expecy you to be able to catch up on locations in which you seem pretty far behid. I also like that Mystique becomes a lot more versitile: you have basically 3 good targets to copy (Iron Man, Dazzler, Wong) and 2 situationally good targets to copy (Sera when you have a turn 7, and Zabu when you really have to squeeze in a Wong on turn 6/7). I was also considering a Hit Monkey version of the deck, but I don't really know which card you would want to cut. The thing that I like about my version is that it feels much more consistent even without negative, so I'm happy to forego a bit of power. Other than that, pretty clean list

I love that just after finishing this video, I got matched with 3 people using this deck. Cosmo and Enchantress got me some cubes. XD

youve gotten so much better at speaking fluidly and naturally. i am enjoying your content again as ive come back to the game. i dont mean this in a negative way, but im surprised how little you utilized lukes bar game 1. potentially couldve basted for free in some places, or used surfer instead of other plays for higher total power. i think for sure bast was better than floating on turn 6

I really enjoyed playing Magik decks myself, but stopped because of Storms and Wandas and other cards... but today it hit me, because she's (3) now, she is technically a viable counter to Storm now :D Also - always a fan of Negative decks, I just never really had luck with them... wish me luck with this one :D (also I would normally swap Rogue at current Meta, buuut... I want to play her too :D )

After running into a brick wall with all my silver tickets, I just went a perfect 6 games total in gold conquest with this deck. (each opponent conceded after game 2) Thanks for sharing this deck list!

Deck looks like lots of fun. I've been liking Psylocke over Zabu in my Negative wong build, though I'm not sure which is correct.

I'm enjoying the puns while at the same time punishing your opponents, keep them coming!

I want to share my incredible luck on 3 conquest games with this. 1st against galctus/nimrod/goblins,I think probably the worst match up with this deck,Lost 10-0 2nd against High evo/wave,Lost on the final match on a 50/50 with a 24 Power Hulk 3rd was Phoenix/multiple man/destroy,opponent got the multiple man combo on 4 of 5 games.Final show down was a Nexus game where i had negative on 3,x mansion triggered,opponent got yondu that discarded inverted iron man. PC Is out of the Window now.

Funnily enough, I just used this deck (sunspot as I don't have bast :( ) against a c2 deck, I won but only just, it was a really good conquest game. No HE bullshit in sight

Zabu is easier to play on 2 in anticipation of a potential top deck even if you don't have one in hand with psylocke it's a guessing game. I know some people prefer psylocke in that slot though!

negative surfer has been my go to deck since hit monkey's release. now there's more 3 cost cards to join the party

Yes! I had fun toying around with negative surfer last season, but it always felt like it was just a tiny bit off of being consistent. I think the magik addition and not having to play her on 5 opens up so much flexibility for the deck.

Used this deck as soon as the patch hit. Unfortunately I ran into 3 silver surfer decks with shadow king in a row. Yes Shadow king reverts the cards back to their base and ruins the entire deck

Yes! They changed so many cards in meaningful ways without killing them that it all feels exciting to experiment with! We don't have 1 deck absolutely running the meta so it feels like a fresh season now where everyone is brewing and experimenting and I'm loving it!

Do you think that this deck would be too affected by changing Zabu with Psylocke? i'm only missing Zabu and this seems to sweet to not try out.

I think it would be a fine change! There's a few scenarios where you'll lose the extra 1 cost reduction on wong normally making him 1 if hit with negative, but overall I think the core deck would be unphased!

NegaSurfer has been amazing for a long time and has gotten me to infinite the past few months - but the Magik BUFF is just *Chefs kiss*. However, I would switch out Rogue for another absolutely essential game winning card. I won't share that secret spice with you tho. Thanks for showcasing one of the more fun and flexible decks!

Yes on paper, but in reality like all negative decks it suffers greatly at the hand of locations and board space, you're often skipping turns that get prof x or spiderman which are heavy in meta right now. And if you don't hit negative then boy... Good luck!!

SM and Prof X aren't as big of an issue with this deck as others since it has two ways to put extra power into those locations after they're locked (Surfer and Iron heart). Not hitting negative is tough, but you still put a decent amount of power out in those scenarios with wong, iron man, mystique, and surfer/IH. Hitting negative is a HUGE high roll, but most of my wins are from later or no negative.

I've been out of the game for a good few months & still haven't picked up Bast. Is Psylocke a good replacement for more ramp into Negative? Can't wait for Bast to put into my negative lists though, definitely looks like a solid fall-back option if you draw badly.

Yep Psylocke would be perfect! Negative on 3 is so insanely strong with a few good draws! You lose out on some of the power (6 if you hit iron man, 4 for hitting negative, etc) so it takes away some of the midrange of your game plan, but the highroll is a bit more consistent!

Wong seems really important to your strategy. Have you considered replacing Bast with Echo?

Echo is just overall worse. Its only purpose is to prevent Cosmo, so if your opponent is not running Cosmo or doesn't draw it, then it's completely useless. Echo doesn't protect Wong from Enchantress and Rogue, which are probably more common than Cosmo because of Luke Cage and High Evolutionary. And as this video shows, it also doesn't stop Magneto from pulling Wong away. But not only does Echo do nothing for Wong most of the time, it actually makes your Wong lane worse because you give up a space that you could use for Mystique, Iron Heart, Wolfsbane, Silver Surfer, etc. If you were an avid Wong player, you would know to keep the Wong lane as open as possible. ECHO IS A NOOB TRAP!!! I'm sorry but suggesting Echo for a Negative Wong list is brain-dead. Bast gives you extra stats, most importantly for Iron Man. Why sacrifice those stats for a card that does nothing most of the time?

They pushed an OTA change last week that fixed the killmonger bug and a lot of the cost craziness that was happening! Inverted works as intended now!

I got Infinite with this deck the past two seasons.

Silver Surfer kind of got his comic treatment. Classic Silver Surfer is far stronger than the current one, just like how old Marvel SNAP Silver Surfer is stronger than the current version.

I do! It doesn't solely rely on getting negative to win, but when you do PHEW your power is through the roof. Locations like storm aren't as big of an issue since you can buff it later with Surfer or iron heart to get the extra reach you need.

Psylocke works well! You don't get the extra reduction from an inverted wong, but it still allows you to ramp into a T3 negative if you have it

This deck just doesn't work for me full stop. I've tried every variation of Negative. The card fucking hates me. I just played 6 games. 1 single fucking negative that entire time. Coincidently the only game I won (SHOCKER). I got Surfer 2 times in those same 6 games. I'm at the point I just loathe this fucking card. I can never get it to work for me. I can win with every deck in the game except Negative. It's the most frustrating thing I've dealt with since I started delaying SNAP. I just don't get it.

Update...I have calmed down. 10 games total. 2 Negatives played by turn 4. 2 drawn on turn 6. It's fun watching people have fun...but it's just not fun for me. Moving on :)
