Great stuff! I was using a meme-y Mr Negative/Jane Foster deck for a long time, had surprising amounts of success with it (but mainly it was just very fun). The Hit-Monkey and Kitty Pride changes kind of killed it though, so this'll be a good replacement!

Glad to see Mr. Negative back. I loved playing the deck in the past even with all the RNG

Great video and I can confirm this deck (with Rogue and Wolvesbane in place of Hit Monkey and Sera) can climb the ladder. I started playing it yesterday after seeing TLSG's version and went from 79 to now 97. I've never played a Negative deck before, but haven't found it that hard to pilot. If you can get the Wong/Mystique/IronHeart/Surfer combo, it's a sure fire win. Thanks for the video and, remember, you're the GOAT!

I think Wolfsbane is just strictly better than Hit Monkey in 9 out of 10 situations. Maybe there's more of a high roll with HM, but it's just win more at that point.

Two of my favorite cards in the game (Surfer and Negative). I love this deck

15:15 Surfer would have been signifiacntly better. Both give you +2, except Iron Heart gives +2 to 3 cards (+6 total) vs Sufer who gives +2 to all 3 cost cards. you had 6 3 cost cards meaning Surfer would have given +12. since wong + mystique activates their effects 4 times Iron heart gave you +24 while Silver Surfer would have given you +48. Twice as much.

I was playing a Surfer/Jean deck and showed my discord friends about it pre-patch. We were all doing pretty amazing with it. Now I'm sure we'll all be playing something like this because that just looks nuts.

Sadley i wasn`t able to get wong until now, dont have hitmonkey as well, so i switched bishop and wolfsbane in. love to play negativ.i use to play the common neg deck with knull arnim and venom. very rng but alot of fun

I played this deck for the last days with Lockjaw in it and it went crazy! It enabled plays like T3 Lockjaw, T4 Mr Negative into lockjaw, T5 magik and a Negative 3-Cost and T6 if I felt good i finished with storm in the limbo location + Surfer

Cozy, you are awesome! But wow were those some cupcakes for Gold! My first opponent for silver was an ongoing deck with wave, iron man, onslaught and living tribunal! With only Rogue to counter I was toast. Next deck had an enchantress. Gonna start seeing more of her!

I've faced this deck about 28 times, Cozy I love you're getting the recognition you deserve but it is killing me!

This video turned out to rn very useful and fun to watch the deck play out. Thanks cozy for schooling me on sakar today…never really considered NOT playing a card at all, even if I can…the card drop it chooses really does feel better on a sakar “FULL PASS” 👌🙏

Man I made a brew last night off your last destroy video (not really - I don’t have lad so I just put the shiny new magik into lambys list). Won a gold conquest. Even beat a high evo deck running armor (with destroy!!). Went the distance to 8 games - super fun. I have been getting THRASHED by this negative list today. My god.

Finally pulled Silver Surfer today. Def been waiting on that one for a while. Just need Magik still!

Less than 4 hours after this video went up I tried this deck in a Silver Conquest and the first deck I faced was exactly this. I think Cozy's worry about it being too popular may have already come to pass.

This deck has to be the best youtube deck ive followed by far, normally i make my own, whenever ive used youtube decks in the past they have been very situational, but this one is so strong, i swapped hitmonkey with bishop at first, then i swapped bishop for rogue and it was even better!

First 3 games with this deck I got rolled. Being familiar with negative I knew that was possible. THen I won the next 6 games and only pulled mr negative in 2 of them. Fun deck and surprisingly more consistent than most negative decks

I faded two negative surfers in a row in gold conquest. Lots the second battle cause he got me by surprise with Rogue.

No joke, the first deck I played against in conquest right after watching this vid, was this exact list. I still don’t have Mystique

I've been running a mister negative with the Thor female that gives you all the zero-cost cards and I've got close to Omega with it rank 90 it's killer that's a lot of fun I use b a s t when necessary and I flip my ironheart Ironman monkey Etc with mister negative and have a killer end game on Turn 6 a 05 Ironman making him a power 10 is killer

i play a similar deck since ota, it's super fun!

About to start playing a Surfer deck with Cosmo and Storm (or maybe even Rhino, no one expects a Rhino to come charging in). Anyways I'll play a counter deck to this one because now it'll be popping up everytime I play. Negative Surfer does look fun but I rarely high rolled with Negative decks and always had a scuffed opening hand.

Been playing this since yesterday, with the exception of Rogue being swapped in for Hit Monkey. Definitely liking the Hit Monkey version better

Sooo I made a little tweak and it’s definitely fun. Didn’t have hit monkey. So I roll out Thor instead. I also switched out brood and bast with gambit and swarm. Boatloads of fun

Just this base deck just beat out Patriot, Blue Marvel, Onslaught and Ultron. And I didn’t hit Mr. Negative either or Zabu. Literally mystique iron man dazzler because I forgot to put in Sera which dazzler’s powers got stolen by rogue. In my other lane Brood and dazzler. Crazy

Super curious to hear yet still more thoughts on the hit monkey replacement; sucks that with bishop you need to sorta change when you play the card? Rogue was said to be the other solid one, despite being so different. Still curious what maybe worked out best for others that lack hit monkey.

There needs to be a card to pull cards like mr negative from the deck. Something like draw your highest cost card or draw a 4 cost idk. Something to up the likelyhood without being broken

The thing with this deck is that if you don't draw negative all game, you probably have drawn a great hand to go hard with just surfer. That's why Sera is there. If you don't draw either by turn 4, then retreat unless you've got an amazing board presence.

I think wolfsbane outperforms hitmonkey in this setup, if you think about it, a full lane with wong is +12, whereas the same +12 for hitmonkey strictly requires 4 cards to played on that same turn (very unlikely).

Hey Cozy. As someone who doesn't spend a ton of money on this game, I mainly just buy the season pass, I'd love to see a video on whether you think it's better to hold off for Thanos or High Evo since bounce is officially dead.

Negative in general feels insane now. I am playing a Panther/Knull Negative Deck, it feels insane. Negative has never felt this consistent.

Yeah I think this is clearly a conquest deck, I was playing last night the TSG version in ladder (slightly different, it runs rogue and wolfsbane instead of hit monkey and sera) and I more than half of my games were either retreats by me because the deck fizzled or retreats by the opponent because I was playing godly openers or being heavily favored by locations. I only snapped one game with zabu+Mr. Neg in hand just so the next location would be The Ice Box castrating the Negative and forcing me to retreat. The other games were 4-cubers where the opponent thought he was in full control until he wasn't and a 2-cube loss to Galactus (which IMHO only exists in this game as fanservice to griefers). Deck is definitely fun, but I think it will be hated out in the next few hours, probably even days.

What can I play instead of Bast?

Don’t let these content creators fool you. They have considerably better luck than the average person.

It's always definitely better to Surfer if you have 3 or more 3-costs on the board. May be better even if you have less in some cases

​@@joselocombi6127surfer's power doesn't matter, it's the boost he gives to other 3 costs. Lots of strong 3 costs are healthy for the game long term, so surfer's already crazy value will just scale with time. There's no way they keep him as a +2 booster

I didn't realize at first the Magik change would be so meta changing... but I'm seeing her in a lot of different decks and I'm not sure I like it honestly. Having the ability of changing the game into a 7 turn match should have a considerable cost like before (like playing a 3 power card on turn 5). This way is too easy to get it rolling and has very very little counterplay honestly.

can’t recount how many times I fought against turn 1 snapper at conquest. most just play high evo with low iq

This deck looks very good. Unfortunately I can only enjoy it for the next month, because I hit a wall again. It won't let me pass 95 level so 12 games lost in a row. The combos came out nicely, but it always drew me an opponent (or bot) who of course had last minute winning draws.

I've been running the exact same list since day 1 of the patch except 1 card difference, kinda upset cozy out here spoiling my tech.

So on the 2nd game I think surfer would've gotten you more points. IH gives +6 points every proc. Into Wong + Mystique it proc'd 4 times so 4 x 6= 24 With SS you get +2 for every 3 cost card. You had 5 cost cards. So (5x2) × 4 = 40

Would Jane Foster also work in this deck? I typically use Jane Foster in Mr Negative decks.
