- This "is why" I build RC crawlers the way I want, NOT to someone else's SPECS, "at that time" !!! 😉... 🤔 Cuz you never know when SORRCA is going to change something !!! 🤨... ✌️ - On this "note" about the "separate" shock-hoops/-towers, I knew they were going to change this rule "again" !!!! 🙄 ...So moral of the story, is ... "BUILD HOW YOU WANT TO BUILD". ... Unless you like changing your builds !!! ... And make your own comp rules, if you have a local group, so it will save you time, unnecessary effort, & money !!! 👌 💪🇺🇸

I wanna build one of these badly, but I'm also intimidated about bobbing the bed and making the fender flares LOL. I've never messed with one of those bodies.

Very good job man! I have question for you, witch kind of esc you have on board? Drone esc’s? I recognize the out runner motor but, he need the esc blheli32 firmware? Kindly suggest the inexpensive one? Appreciate you answer! 🤙

Hey hey! I use wraith 32 drone escs flashed with am32. I actually did a video about how to flash am32 using emax escs if you wanna check it out. The drone escs have been drying up though so if you're in the market for a good drone type esc check out the rhino am32 esc on aliexpress. It's actually designed specifically for crawling using am32.

Really interested in building this rig, quick question i gotta ask wot would I need if wanted to make this complete, not including body ,ie do I need to get a trx4 or just axles.......sorry if it sounds like a dumb question but if I don't ake ill never know ,thanks for sharing this video, BTW u got a sub from me.

hey hey! So you would need axles, drive shaft pieces, shocks and custom links. If you go to the website it should be broken down in detail and the instructions also list the lengths for the custom links you would need to order.

Negative G had them custom made from one of their suppliers. Not sure if they plan on selling them.

How much would you sell that truck as is?

Why can't you just adjust the springs/oil to eliminate rubber bands?

Internal springs you can’t adjust on the fly like rubber bands/hair ties.

I personally find the design very limiting, it needs very specific parts to work. Also, why can't you accept that this is an LCG crawler whole heartedly?

limited in terms of build creativity or performance? I don't except that class 1 builds are LCG because the heaviest part of the build (the body is over 1lb) is also the highest sprung mass of the build. That's literally the opposite of LCG.

@@Furadi sorry limited on choice of bodies and setup to run. if the rear shock towers was separate like on the beta version (aluminium rails) it would have been more versatile. I think your over thinking it, this is an RC and if you follow the SORRCA guidelines, you don't have much of a choice and using a hard body will always give you a high sprung mass... that's why you have the rubber band mod to keep your rig planted.
