@@spritvio639 The Chaos Emeralds turn thoughts into power, if the person using them has the will and strength to beat their opponent, the emeralds can multiply that 10 fold, possibly even more, that's how Super Sonic can be made, even if the emeralds lose almost all of their energy.

Eggman has miscalculated before, plus Sonic also says "Even the Nega Wisps must not like you." Meaning that even if their energy was being sucked out of them, they were trying to help Sonic by holding back their own strength. Then, let's look at Sonic Colors DS. Super Sonic beats the Nega Mother Wisp, meaning that if Hyper Go On energy is impure or toxified to make Nega Wisps, it isn't really that strong, back to Eggman miscalculating the power of the Hyper Go On energy. Plus we've seen Sonic beat literal gods with the Emeralds, so beating down what basically is a generic Final Boss with Super Sonic, that's about as easy taking a nap for Sonic.

@@crynosinso8324 Yeah but that's Sonic with the Chaos Emeralds compared to an Eggman Robot with the Wisps, it's possible that if Sonic had a transformation with the Final Color Blaster than it could be more powerful than Super Sonic. For example, Infinite could beat Sonic easily in Forces, he only lost due to Eggman taking the Phantom Ruby energy for his Death Egg Robot, Eggman using an even more op version of the Ruby still failed because Eggman's robots harnessing power is far less powerful than someone like Sonic. So in theory it could be more powerful.

@@rightasrain3675 It actually wasnt Infinite who beat Sonic, it was those clones of Shadow, Chaos, Zavok, and Metal, and so it was Sonic being out numbered by a constant stream of attacks of some of his most powerful enemies. Now you are most likely right in that aspect Wisp energy being stronger than the Chaos Emerald (we don't have enough proof to completely well, prove it but it's a good possibility.) But Eggman says that line in more reference to Nega-Wisp Energy, which has been shown to be taken down by both Super Sonic and the regular Wisps.

Honestly the lack of talking during the boss adds to the tension. I think it was a good idea to remove those lines

@@spritvio639 I forgot where I heard it from but Chaos Emeralds do have Unlimited Power but they only have so much they can output at a time. Super Emeralds can output more energy hence the reason Sonic got a new form. Also Hyper Sonic isn't canon anymore

@@Sonicgamer1223 It was a Nega Wisp. Nega Wisps have their main "hyper-go-on" power taken out only really have negative ones. So we still really don't know the power level of Chaos Emeralds vs. Hyper-go-on power. As even negative Chaos Emerald energy loses to positive as seen in Sonic Adventure

Yeah Positive is always better but usually Negative power makes you go all out rather then containing it in like positive energy if that makes a lick of sense. Also can we really say Sonic beat Chaos. Technically Sonic won but Chaos is still invincible right?

This point has been disproven already so allow me to explain but keep it short. The Chaos Emeralds has been proven to be far more powerful. This was confirmed in the sonic rush games, Shadow the Hedgehog aka Black Doom and sonic 06 where the chaos emeralds has to the power to control, traverse and manipulate space time and the chaos energy within the emeralds themselves is limitless so for Eggman to after the wisps instead of the chaos emeralds in colors is completely idiotic.

I'm really glad all of these were cut. They really take away from the tension of the battle.

It seems you forgot that the second line is played. I also purposely chose not to include the first line as I didn't find it fitting with the way I edited it.

I would have made Baldy McNosehair say something after you get the Blue Wisp something like this “Blasted pincushion! You may have ruining my amusement park and my plans, but I wouldn’t let you ruining *THIS!”*

They should've/Could've used some of these quotes. Would have made even more shiver feeling :). Not all of em, but for example Sonic's line at the beginning of the fight.

Sonic needed the Chaos Emeralds to beat Nega Mother Wisp, who was way stronger than Eggman’s Nega Wisp Armor. So Eggman was wrong about The Wisps being more powerful than the Chaos Emeralds.

I think the reason why eggman says the wisps are more powerful than the chaos emeralds is because he doesnt know their full power (well yes he knows but he doesnt know how to use it at their full potential) i know eggman uses the chaos emeralds in machines with alot of power, but they have unlimited power (i know eggman knows this) if i dont wrong the power depends alot of the thoughts, if its positive the power of the person who uses it increases, the opposite with negative thoughts

Nah the dark and positive energies of the emeralds are multiplied or not according on the negative or positive emotions of the one using it respectivly, hence why Chaos was able to enter it's perfect form only through the thirst for revenge as he only feed himself from negative energy and left the positive one for Sonic. Unless you need to have an actual personal desire to unleash their full power (such as empathy or revenge) rather than Eggman greediness, at which point it would make sense.

I wish those cut lines would reappear in Colours Ultimate, because I legitimately wanna know if positive hyper-go-on energy can actually surpass positive chaos energy. We know Super Sonic exploiting the positive energy of the Chaos Emeralds allows him to the negative energy of the Chaos Emeralds as seen with him surpassing Perfect Chaos, a being made up of pure chaos energy, however we've never seen the full extent of hyper-go-on energy, meanwhile we've seen the Chaos Emeralds be utilised to take on literal god's, so like imagine if say Sonic obtained a special transformation by fusing with at least 1 of all Wisp species & we could learn if positive hyper-go-on energy can in fact surpass positive chaos energy, because we've seen negative hyper-go-on energy lose to both positive hyper-go-on energy (Vs. Egg Nega Wisp) & positive chaos energy (Vs. Nega Mother Wisp), but we've never seen just how well positive hyper-go-on energy can fare up with positive chaos energy.

@Kian Actually the super emeralds exist, alongside the Master Emerald which can literally control & suppress the power of the Chaos Emeralds. It's not unreasonable to consider just how strong hyper-go-on energy can truly be, especially when even its negative Version can be altered to mind control folk. Imagine what other capabilities the energy is capable of & the sheer limits of hyper-go-on. It could surpass chaos energy if fully understood & mastered.

I wasn’t aware of these unused voices lines. Honestly when I was younger and played this game for the 1st time I assumed the chaos emeralds were weaker than the wisps. Of course that’s probably not true especially with forces using them for the wispons. Although I find it interesting that this would of been the only mention of the emeralds in the entire game if you don’t count unlocking super sonic.

You realize that the emeralds only have special stages in games that take place on mobius and not earth because yes 2 worlds is cannon colors just happens to be over mobius because GUN wouldn't let him build that thing 😂 so yeah. Also have you seen mother wisp? Having every kind of wisp and using them at the same time basically equivalates to that. Also the master emerald is stronger than the chaos emeralds 🤦‍♂️

On top of adding these lines in Colors Ultimate, they should have Red Burst and Violet Void join for the Final Color Blaster, seeing as they're officially canon. I'm assuming they'll add Jade Ghost, so why not 2 more? ...Actually, now that I think about it, I'd prefer they leave out the Nega Wisps (Void and Frenzy). Speaking of, at the end of Colors, all the Nega Wisps returned to normal, so it didn't make any sense to have Void return in Forces & TSR. I mean, Isn't that why they made Indigo Asteroid for Lost World; to replace Violet Void?

Asteroid is just a better version of Void, even so I think the nega wisps turned into the positive wisps in order to help stop the black hole. If they were to add more wisps then they'd have to re build the entire game so they wouldn't flood the levels with so many wisps

Void just gets bigger and faster (similar to Frenzy) then Asteroid can absorb obstacles and turn them into planet rings so it can reach anything within the range of the rings. They both have a similar concept just executed differently
