I admire Neena for her honesty and loved her comment “ when you work with mature people there is no competition “.... just beautiful
She IS bold/gutsy and unapologetic. She dated married men and even had a child with one too, and she doesn't sound sorry. This is exactly how unapologetic and bold ones are-- they neither glorify their actions nor appologize for it. I guess she is not comfortable with those terms because as she said it affected her job.

In every interview neena is asked about her kid....whereas i have not come across any interview of viv richards being asked about masaba anywhere...why are we like that?
It is one of the best interviews I have ever watched in my life. I felt as if I were in front of Neena G and talking to her in my living room. Neena G is so honest,transparent, kind and most importantly after facing so much in life, still she has a positive outlook to life. Neither in depression, became a hermit nor committed suicide. She owned herself and lived so gracefully. Out of a few great women of substance that I find myself lucky enough to listen to and to be in the same era, Neena G is the one them. Neena G spoke so truthfully. Thank you for being in this world and sharing all the rough patches so honestly because that made me feel less alone. I must praise the interviewer. She was an exceptionally sensible, patient and kind person. She was truly a human and talked to Neena G like talking to an elder sister. I love the interviewer unconventional attitude.

I understand where she's coming from about the LOVE concept .... a love for your own flesh and blood is deeper than towards a life partner. It starts with an attraction and then eventually transforms into a cordial relationship and care for the person you're with like a constant and that probably is the very definition of love for many.

Love her for who she is.Most importantly she is not arrogant.I know her class fellow in NSD who used to tell me how beautiful Neena Gupta used to look with her glowing pink skin.She also told me that she looks more beautiful by face as she is not photogenic.
Today also I think that at starting she did not get the kind of good roles which she deserved . But she has done some good movies now a days . I wish she gets long life so we can see more of her talent in films .
This was such a wonderful experience of watching two mature women talk about the life at large. Such an honest attempt of showing an actor through her own eyes. Lovely stuff :)

Why is it that each time Neena Gupta is interviewed, most of the questions are about her personal life? This is an actor of very high calibre and there's so much to know about her acting and how she approaches the characters she plays. I'm hoping we can see more of that in future.
Very transparent, she didn’t hide anything it was so natural as if she is speaking to a friend . Very inspiring to hear that Muje toh chote chote kaam hi mile it was not no where for her to feel shy . She is on her own.
Neena didn't talk about film "Utsav" and her other films with Shyam Benegal...may be it was difficult for her to talk about it....but my generation grew up and got good insight of life through these 'Art films' , parelel cenema....
