Seriously, after watching this video again, it has been a blessing to me. Thank God for you guys! I appreciate that, in listening to the music you guys put out, I don't have to compromise content for style and/or vise versa. You guys seem so full of music in you and I love to see it naturally flow out of you and become you. Great quality music with deep, encouraging, Inspiring, and creative lyrics. So thankful.

When I heard this song, I was driving with my dad. My dad is a Christian and so is his whole family. My dad played this song and told me to just listen and I swear I heard Jesus’ voice singing through the music. I loved God and Jesus but hearing Jesus singing to me was epic. I just finished drawing a picture for my grandma and every Sunday I lay down on my bed and put headphones on and listen to Gospel songs and watch Gospel skits.

First time heard this song at the convenience store near my campus, I was at my lowest phase in my journey from teen to young adult and lost my way of what was important. I come from a country where Christianity is not a dominant religion so any song about Jesus and Christianity related is something you can only hear in the church or in the Christian music store, never in public space. So there i was, sitting in the convenience store, speaking in my mind, asking God for the first time in a long time, while looking outside the window and this song started to play. first i thought the melody was not so bad until it played to the chorus. "God of mercy Sweet love of mine I have surrendered to your design may this offering stretch across the sky And these hallelujahs be multiplied" this song hit hard to my heart, especially in the "i have surrendered to your design" part. at first i couldnt believe that they played this Christian song in the public space out of nowhere, tried to check this song on the google to see if i misheard the lyrics or not while holding my tears. and the rest is history. Jesus touched me in a weirdly-amazing-wonderful way and saved my life in 2015, at the local convenience store, in an Islamic dominant country. P.S : after that, i came to that exact convenience store for a several more times, never heard this song played again

Im just a kid and when I come back from school I do my homework and then go straight to my tablet than something just popped up in my mind and I start to worship God and turn my life towards him Instead I start praying and all of a sudden when I was praying I felt a tap on my shoulder like Someone was holding my shoulder as I pray so then right there I knew God was with me and he will always be my God that I worship and I will put nothing before him. I first heard this song years ago when it came out. I was still a kid. I listened to it over and over everyday. 3 years ago, I found it again and decided to delve deeper into NEEDTOBREATHE. I have listened to them everyday since. They are my favorite band. I’m now 19 years old. I lost my mom 3 weeks and 2 days ago. She battled illnesses for 9 1/2 years. She was my best friend. I miss her so much. This song and many other songs by this band bless me with strength and comfort. They are a reflection of God’s goodness, even in the hard times.

No matter what Jesus is always going to be there beside you, but you have to get out of your comfort zone and start seeking Jesus! That guitar riff pulls my spirit into a joyful place.

These guys songs make me cry over Gods grace and love for us. They have a way of driving it home and making it blow me away. Im also glad to see 2600 comments of other believers drawing close to Him through music. Sometimes i feel like we are alone...but the remnant is still here.

+Lawrence LeClerc yes, we can.. history proves Jesus existed.. He was no myth as the atheists say.. the clues are there *follow them*.. find out for yourself. Does God exist? We can choose to believe or not.. don't be like thomas, and don't be an atheist.. read his account, through their hands, through their eyes we have witnesses.. human hands touched God.. they touched His wounds, they beheld something incredible.. that is why thomas said my Lord and my God.. read what people wrote.. look through their eyes and believe. 2000 years ago something that defy's description happened.. why would they make up a story like that and then go to their deaths proclaiming it.. be beaten for it? spend their lives and their treasure, everything they had to give proclaiming this.. it wasn't to con men, or control them it was the truth. everything people need to know about God's love and mercy was proven on the cross.. that is and was our proof.. the universe declares God's existance if you'll but open your heart and mind to it.. the cross declares His love for mankind.. that would include you. Jesus proved His love once and for all time beyond a shadow of a doubt on the cross.. don't let anyone including yourself rob you of that.. look closely. you won't find the answer to the question within logic.. it makes no sense.. why would God love us? what is Jesus all about anyway? .. yet He did and does.. the cross and Christ Jesus are real.. Lawrence LeClerc, i hope you might find the way to faith in your incredible God... the cross of history beckons us all, seek and ye shall find.

It's amazing how powerful and beautiful this song is, even if you think about it, it has a simple message- but a profound one. This is my favorite worship song, and I hope to make this the anthem of my life.
