I loved seeing the old photo of this hotel, it hasn't changed at all, I'm glad there are still places like this full of history. I liked the room sometimes modernity wears thin. The ornate balustrade and french doors were a pleasant feature. From all I have seen in your previous videos the old town is where I would most like to stay for it's history and atmosphere so this hotel would be perfect as a base, as far as food is concerned I'm happy to ad lib. The price amazing would definitely like to see the refurb next year. Thanks 😊

Stayed at this hotel. Wifi password was on the back of the door. We liked the hotel, yes it's dated but great location, friendly staff, shower good, slept like a baby (heard nowt at night) reception manned at night. So long as I have toast and coffee for breakfast, which I did...I was happy. I'd return for the price, cost me £213 for 2 people staying 4nights last November.

Couldn't agree with your comments more Paul. Stayed here last September and loved the location but said I wouldn't stay there again. Really can't wait to see what the refurb looks like as would stay again if the refurb is good. Great video again

Have stayed here a couple of times great location and really comfortable stay would stay again no problem at the end of the day you just need somewhere to sleep thats nice & clean hello to Elias a great guy

Absolutely love benidorm go twice a year stay in old town Michelangelo apartments next to primavera hotel apartments are massive you should go there

I think for the price and location this is good value, especially for two people, and the room is quite spacious. The important thing is that it is clean. Meals could be purchased in the near locality. If I wanted a cheap sunshine break I would stay there.

We visit Benidorm 3 to 4 times a year, but always stay on the new side. I particularly like the Presidente, Port Benidorm, Lavante beach and spa, we've stayed in a lot more,but never in the Old Town. I wud love to stay that end but im not sure where to look for a good hotel. We always visit the old town,wen we're there,but im not familiar with the hotels in that area,like i am on the other side. Loved the quaint, old way to this hotel, but i do like my creature comforts of modern living. But the location is brilliant. Maybe once it's up dated it will be worth a look. Also im partially disabled, so steps and stairs are a huge no-no for me,and i need a mobility scooter to get about. But fab video,thank you for sharing .

Not been to Benidorm or anywhere else for that matter for about 27 years (Lack of funds) And always stayed in an apartment never a hotel. Last place we stayed was called La Plata but its been refurbished and re named NOW. I believe its a place where groups go like stag and hens. So defiantly not a place i would look at going to these days.

ive stayed there its clean and comfy trouble is the walls are very thin and the noise from outside at night is horrendous

Been to Benidorm about 10 times now over the years and I've seen it change. Mostly for the better. I'm looking forward to coming over next year for a week in September, as its been around 5 years since my last visit and im intrigued to see the changes. Hotel is dated, but location wise its excellent. Hopefully next year it will be brought up to standard. Great video as ever. Happy travels everyone.

I stayed in this hotel for 10 days last year. I am a solo traveller and I emailed the hotel asking for a room facing the street on a lower floor if possible. I was given a 2nd floor room on the back of the hotel. The room was small and the bathroom was very daunting. You couldn’t stop the water from the shower going on the floor and the door was water damaged from previous use. One day when my bed was changed a single sheet was put on the double bed. There was no mattress protector and I woke up in the night actually sleeping on bare mattress. This didn’t make me feel the best and it was changed in the morning. I have no idea why this happened as the chambermaid didn’t speak English. I was staying bed and breakfast and I found the food satisfactory, maybe because I am vegetarian. The reception staff were very friendly and fluent in English.

Quite expensive. This year I went to Crete in May. 14 nights HB flights and transfers included €950.

I thought it was great value, location clean ok the food could be better, but I’d stay there, thanks Paul 👍👍🏖️🌴☀️

Paul👍 good tip on the twin room. The price, its good value especially when demand for accommodation is high. All I want is a clean room compatible bed, and no noise at night But people are on holiday to enjoy themselves, so there's bound to be some noise which is acceptable, once there is no shouting and Screaming.

Not bad hotel paul for the price room not too bad clean could be noisy with the walls been thin not sure about the food tho thanks paul

On a budget for a couple it seems a bargain even not even including the meals for a few weeks holiday as a single I think and you know you can get a better deal If you look around. It would have been a good Idea if the people staying at this hotel could comment on the food side of things like not having half board but a better breakfast selection instead including a full English this would also save time. You could have asked to have a look at the double bed option just for the people at home if possible.

For the price it seems good to me!
