    for powder ombre brows what is the difference between .18, .25, and .3 for the 1rl needles. Which is the best?

  • @browsboutique

    The difference is the size of the needle, 018 is smaller than 030. Most artists use 030, I love 025 and 030. It really comes down to preference.

    Yes, you can. It is just easier to implant more color with 1 or 3. Try to go a little softer. I'm very light handed, I don't put pressure when I work and I still get great results.

    I have the opposite problem, I’m very light hand. So “tattoo machines” like vallalha that are thicker and a little heavier than permanent makeup machines are better for me. I feel they add the “weight” for me. Maybe you need something that would be the opposite of that? 🤷‍♀️ Other thing that may help is talking to yourself during the procedure 😂, I mean: I keep telling myself the entire time I do an eyeliner “slow, slow...” Maybe you should say “light, light”. It definitely helps.

    I love Permablend, maybe what you need is knowing how to work with the pigments. A color Theory Course Maybe good if you didn’t do one yet. I offer classes online, we can do a zoom meeting and I can teach you everything about the pigments. That may help you to be free to choose any brand you want and know what to do so the colors last “fresh” for a little longer

  • @browsboutique

    @browsboutique

    3 жыл бұрын

    1p must mean 1 point needle, that is the same thing. For hair strokes normally we use 1 point needle size 030RL and not 018. The 018 is too thin so the 030 does a better job. But for prancing you can use anything

    Do you know which needle is good for oily skin and thin skin?

  • @browsboutique

    @browsboutique

    3 жыл бұрын

    I tend to start the procedure with the needle I like the most no matter what skin type my client has (18-01RL, 30-01RL). If I see that the pigment is not implanting into the skin or that my client skin is very sensitive then I change the needle. Think like this: More needles, less penetration / Less needles, more penetration. If the skin is thin and showing me signs like: red, bleeding then I change for a 3RS or RL. If you are doing microblading with your machine and the client has oily skin, you should use a smaller configuration like 01RL, so when the skin heals the strokes still look nice and thin. But the best for oily skin is Powder Brows.

    Thank you Nana. You can use 1RL for everything, brows, eyeliner and lips. For lips, you have to be patient, the color takes a bit to show up. Work in sections then go back to the sections that needs more color.

  • @browsboutique

    @browsboutique

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@nanabeyrouti4755 I like 0,35 for lips. Some artists prefer acupuncture needles, some prefer flat or magnums. Magnums are good for coloring but the 1RL is good for the details, making the line around the lips so you don’t go out of that line… I’m the end is really what you like the best. Practice with the 1RL, then try the 3RS, then keep trying the bigger configurations to find the best for you.

    What method do you use pointlism, scoop, ?

  • @browsboutique

    @browsboutique

    3 жыл бұрын

    Pointillism is when you tap the needle like if you were poking the skin. Tap, tap, tap.. it takes a long time to do a work like this. I do pointillism normally in the beginning of the brows where I do not want to deposit too much ink.

    Question, when doing ombre powder brows a 1RL .25 is okay? And if doing ombre brows you use a 1RL to outline and a 3RL to shade inside? My instructor didn’t really went too in depth with that 🥹

  • @browsboutique

    @browsboutique

    4 ай бұрын

    Yes, you can use the 0.25. I prefer 030 or 035, I fell 0.25 it is too thin. To shade with a 3 point needle I prefer the shader RS not RL. Shader is for coloring and liner is for creating lines. I do not like to outline anything.
