    Is the needle supposed to move up and down and can you see it moving?

  • @browsboutique

    I like 6.2 for powder brows and lips. For eyeliner I start with 5.9 but it all depends on what feels good for you. Try to practice starting with this speed and see if works for you. I prefer to work less fast just so you have an idea.

    Question, when doing ombre powder brows a 1RL .25 is okay? And if doing ombre brows you use a 1RL to outline and a 3RL to shade inside? My instructor didn’t really went too in depth with that 🥹

  • @browsboutique
    @browsboutique2 ай бұрын

    Yes, you can use the 0.25. I prefer 030 or 035, I fell 0.25 it is too thin. To shade with a 3 point needle I prefer the shader RS not RL. Shader is for coloring and liner is for creating lines. I do not like to outline anything.

    Can you use this as tattoo machine. The handle is way smaller thats why i am looking for a PermanentMakeup gun.

  • @browsboutique
    @browsboutique2 ай бұрын

    This machine has a 3 stroke, it is a softer hit. If you are tattooing the skin of the body a higher stroke would probably give you more retention. You can always go on the Dragonhawk website and ask what they recommend. I have a Valhalla Axys machine that you can change the stroke, it ranges from 2.9 to 4.2 if I'm correct.

    I appreciate all your help and videos but what types of pigments are good to use in your opinion? Perma blend has not been keeping the true pigment and I am hoping to find a better type of ink. Ty.

  • @browsboutique
    @browsboutique Жыл бұрын

    I love Permablend, maybe what you need is knowing how to work with the pigments. A color Theory Course Maybe good if you didn’t do one yet. I offer classes online, we can do a zoom meeting and I can teach you everything about the pigments. That may help you to be free to choose any brand you want and know what to do so the colors last “fresh” for a little longer

  • @browsboutique
    @browsboutique Жыл бұрын

    I charge $250 for 1 hour course. I think that should be enough to teach you a lot about the pigments.

    Does the washing help keep it moisturized? The trainer I had said tell them not to do any washing for 5 days only use AD ointment…but it made no sense to me I just didn’t argue but my PMU artist tells her clients the same thing and they come back all crusty and less pigmented. Could this be because they aren’t washing and using ointment correctly??

  • @browsboutique
    @browsboutique2 ай бұрын

    I learned the same way as you. But after so many courses that I did, I decided to go with the "wet healing". I do ask my clients to wait 6 hours before starting the after care. I also say, it is a light and gentle wash. That way you are cleaning the skin and also prevents for forming so much scabbing.

  • @Summerleigh2percent
    @Summerleigh2percent Жыл бұрын

    Yes I am just finding you but most of my clients want a natural look and not a sharpie look…they want hair like strokes with minimal shading if possible. Thank you for being so thorough

  • @browsboutique
    @browsboutique2 ай бұрын

    You can create soft look with Powder Brows but unfortunately clients are so used to see really dark 'sharpie" brows that they are scared. I tell them we do not use those strong pigments now a days, those were tattoo pigments most of the time.

    Yes, you can. It is just easier to implant more color with 1 or 3. Try to go a little softer. I'm very light handed, I don't put pressure when I work and I still get great results.

    What speed should you use for brows

  • @browsboutique
    @browsboutique Жыл бұрын

    It depends on your hand speed. You want to try to balance it out. My hand speed is a little fast so I normally try to don’t put the speed too fast, I use between 6 to 6.7 depending on the machine I’m using.
