Thanks for showing the back of your blankets!! I run a knit shop in Haliburton Ontario Canada and I don't think I've ever missed one of your episodes. I send as many of my customers to your podcast! I think it's great inspiration!!
Congratulations on finishing your Dad’s sweater, Ray!! Woohoo! Good for you!! 👏
Ray is a wizard, confirmed. The sweater for your dad came out wonderful and he will love it!
My favorite quote from Elizabeth Zimmerman is “Don’t be a bind follower.” So make your granny square sweater your way.

Congratulations on finishing the sweater for your dad, Ray! He will love it! Look forward to you doing the video shorts. Those will be fun! Good luck on your first trunk show. Wish I were nearby to shop, or maybe it’s good that I’m not! 😊
I agree on the ribbed hat in dk is the best hat option. I do the same regularly and I am obsessed with how my hats turn out. I have a bin of them for my family and another bin of them for grab-n-go gifts. They're just so fun to marl different yarns or to hold one fingering weight skein double.
I absolutely LOVE that purple!! It’s GORGEOUS!💜

Thanks for the shoutout! I'm obsessed with that new sweater. It's not for the faint of heart, but so worth it. And Ray... that cardigan... I give you a lot of credit for that. I think even I would have struggled with motivation getting through that much fabric. Knits are fun as usual.
The colors in the sock tube are a triumph, Kevin! Your trunk show will be an amazig success, so try not to stress. Looking forward to hearing all about it 💛

Yes! I'm really curious how the robe/sweater will look on him!
Love you both - your FO’s and WIP’s are beautiful (as always) and it’s super fun to see you both crocheting as well as knitting. Thank you so much for describing the colors in all of your NATR yarns - it’s super helpful. Ray, I got those colorblind glasses and took them to my eye doctor and had her test me with them on. They absolutely did not work for me.😢 If you get them, I truly hope they’ll work for you, but I also hope you get them for free - my advice would be not to waste any money on them.
Love watching you guys so more of you would be a super duper bonus 🧶🧶

Superman afraid of height? 🤣🤣🤣 How tall is your dad? What a good son! He is going to love it. Keep us informed! Everything you have made and are working on is looking good! Yes, do make extra little videos for us. I like knowing your thoughts and opinions. You haven't led me astray....yet! 🤣🤣🤣 I have benefitted from your responses to my comments. Love that lacy shawl.....mom needs that! I'm getting the pattern!
Ray, I like the idea of a Jethro vest and a shorter length. The more yarn used, the heavier the finished garment will be.
Thanks for the tip about yarns to use on a cowl scarf or shawl for someone with facial hair!
Dads sweater is gorgeous. I also want to thank you. I had a one skein of Vermont milled yarn, I didn't know what to do with it. Several months ago, you mentioned the Empower People bandana from Casapinka. I made it, easy peasy and it turned out beautiful!

I thought your mum would love the crochet shawl... I's beautiful... Dad got the 2 year project cardigan... mum deserves a beautiful shawl....
I love the idea of a short tidbits podcast and the ideas you shared about favourite tools etc are perfect. I would also love to hear you talk about things like favourite cast on/off techniques for particular projects; when you do and don't use short rows; etc. You could showcase a particular project and talk us through personal changes you made or a a technique you enjoyed - without giving the pattern secrets away of course. You already do this in your regular podcasts, but the shorter one would give the opportunity to showcase tips and techniques more fully. You both have developed amazing skills over the past few years and we are always up for learning something new or different. I know you already have helped me a lot. Thank you for your amazing shared contribitions to our community xx

It makes me feel validated that Kevin doesn’t like continental knitting 😂 When I was being taught to knit I was taught that continental is so much easier but it kills my hands so out of necessity I tried English throwing and to me it’s so much better! It saves my hands from aches and pains at least.
Oooh more detailed reviews and recommendations on yarn even!!!

Hi Guys, lovely to see you, I love all you both knit but Ray that shawl was absolutely stunning it reminded me of a delicate snowflake it was so so so beautiful, and well done finishing your pops sweater, love love your channel and would love to see more, Ray have you done any more Felting, I love to see your cute projects, and Kev wow your wool dying is totally on another level your colour choices are outstanding I wish I lived nearer so I could see your work in true life but unfortunately I live in the UK and at the minute it is absolutely freezing cold, and continuous rain, look after each other love Julie xxxxx
Well done on finishing the cardigan Ray, you should be well pleased with that, what a massive project, I bet your dad will be so happy with it, he's surely going to be warm and cosy this winter ❤❤
Kudos to you for finishing your father's sweater, Ray. I wonder if you would have found working on your father's sweater more challenging if it had been top down in the round. Given the volume of the fabric, it could have become more unwieldy. Glad you enjoyed the bags. I didn't mention that I've been sewing for 60 years. I made myself a knitting bag and a large interchangeable knitting case with slots for the interchangeable needles, pockets for cords, and other notions out of waxed canvas, with outdoor fabric for the linings and small notions bags. That is also nice for sitting upright when you're working.
I'm laughing a belly laugh! The sweater finishes are great
YourDad’s cardigan looks beautiful I hope we get to see him giving us a twirl 👍 The crochet lacy shawl is beautiful I can see why Mum wants it Well done Kevin on the dyeing very subtle & chic in fact ( I WANT IT ) 😄😁😆😀😃

Hi from Scotland. I love your podcast and have been watching for a good while now. When you shared the pattern for your ribbed hat I immediately cast on with sock leftovers, I have now finished four and shared the pattern with my knitting/crochet group. very pink knits has good basic techniques... I have been using mattress stitch and other techniques for over 40 years and still find it useful to review if you are not sure. I have made about 5-6 jumpers for my partner of over 33 years. He is such a lucky guy.🤣
