This is very creative and absolutely brilliant thank you I bet this can open the door for needle felting for people who has physical disability that might prevent them from trying the hobby for themselves
oh my goodness, this is absolutely gorgeous! I’m going to give it a try by hand (no fancy machines at my house - jealous!) thank you so much for sharing, you’re a wonderful and generous teacher ❤️
Thank you! This has given me so many ideas. I hadn't even thought of using my sewing machine on my felting...
Love it!
Thank you for sharing your technique, I've seen the landscape pictures on Pinterest, bought a starter set and sat here with it all around me and no idea how to start. I read a quote "buying for crafting and crafting are two completely separate hobbies", which I totally agree with but hopefully now I can make them one, Thank You !!

Hi Bikt, great that you enjoyed the workshop. We used two different machines - a needle felting machine and then a regular machine to do the stitching. Hope that helps!
Absolutely exquisite. My embellisher arrived yesterday and I can't wait to recreate some of my imspiration photography in textiles. Thank you for the wonderful inspiration.

@@SuperShandy777 It's a needle felting machine - like a sewing machine, but with felting needles rather than sewing needles.
Brilliant tutorial by a lovely lady. So inspiring. Thank you
You are very good at training this process, thorough explanations, describing actions then performing them, showing the actions clearly. Thank you for sharing your passion.
Watching you with your Embellisher is like watching a Artist with a Paint Brush!! Your talent and eye for color and design is Magnificent! You inspire me to get my embellisher out from under it’s cover and start creating!! Thank you!
Wow, gorgeous landscape! I had not thought of stitching over needle felting before. What a great way to add detail. Thank you for the excellent video!

Thank you so much for sharing this. I’ve never seen this before and I would love to give it a try. Can you recommend any books on this technique? Your machine looks like fun and I can see how addicting this felt landscape can be!
Hermoso trabajo ! Gracias por compartir 😊🎉
Very clear instructions
Wow you are just wonderful at this art ❣️ I hope I can do this one day. I want a felting machine so very much ❣️ 😀
Gorgeous! :D
💖💖👌👌
So pretty! I made a massive mistake selling my old five needle babylock machine a few years ago. I completely lost my mojo and stopped sewing😢. I’ve just now had a complete 180 and am investing in a new one. The babylock is now a twelve needle and has ability to add a yarn or ribbon on a spool. If you were to use a hoop and a water soluble stabiliser on the top, you can draw a design to follow. 😊
what a lovely tutorial thank you

Ti scrivo da Roma per capire come fare i quadri con la lana cardata da mettere sul pannolenci grazie mille per la tua splendida spiegazione
I love your Technique! I feel like I've learned a lot. Let me share something I've found . If you don't have felt for a background, you can make your own Base by needle felting with a multi needle tool or Machine. It seems like people prefer wet felting, but I don't have the space for it so I just followed an article online and made my own Bass. It's got this interesting handmade look to it. It's not as firm looking as commercial felt but if you do it right it won't pull apart on you.

Great presentation, perfect job. I have a question regarding the felting machine. Where possible to buy a similar machine and what company produces it? thank you for answer

I'm not sure the exact same machine as ours is still available although you might find one second hand. If you Google 'felting machine' or 'embellisher machine' you should hopefully find something. You can also get a felting needle for a standard sewing machine which could be a good option if you just want to try the technique without investing in a whole new machine.
Would tender touch work on back of art to smooth pictures out?
What was the fabric you use as the base for your landscape. I heard black fabric
@DesignMattersTV

Hi Joy, The black fabric is felt which makes the perfect stable base for a project like this.

Sew to make the trees you used a sewing machine with a free movement quilting foot?
@DesignMattersTV
Жыл бұрын
Yes that's correct, once the felting is done Linda works freehand to stitch the trees in.
what kind of sewing machine did you use for felting or was it just a felting foot ?

We don't sell any kits, but I'm sure there must be suppliers out there who sell small quantities of needle felting supplies for you to try.
