My sisters and my mom and I made these for a crafting retreat. They added whiskers with regular sewing thread and they look so cute! One of my sisters’ mice turned out kind of tall and comical. She left their eyes white and made three blind mice, complete with props .

This just popped up in my recommended and it warms my heart. I had a little boy mouse for nearly three years who recently passed in November. He was my sweet little old boy and I remember how peaceful he would look when he would fall asleep. Seeing these needle felted mice brings a tear to my eye, the white ones are a perfect match to him. Truly beautiful artwork.

I was totally absorbed from the beginning to the end of your wonderful video. In Scotland (especially the Highlands) You always give a mouse as a present when someone moves into a new home. Not a live one!!! I have more than enough in this old house and my 27-year-old cat has well passed his hunting days :) I have always wondered how felting was done, and you explained everything so clearly it was wonderful. I have not seen any materials in S.W. France where I live now. I did send for one small stencil from the U.S. and had to pay 75 euros for the postage. Struggling on a small pension, I will not do that again. I have 5 friends in new houses now. So 5 mice needed. I usually make fimo mice. Small in case they are not wanted, even if they are really realistic. After watching your incredible skill I am itching to have a go. I will try the U.K. for supplies. I wish you every best wish for the new year. Bliadhna mhath ur in Gaelic :) Fran. Pro. blee an ah va hoor

A mouse as a present when someone moves into a new home....I love this tradition! How precious! I love hearing these traditions that other countries incorporate. I always give a nice/pretty WELCOME door mat for the front door. I just roll it up and tie with a beautiful bow. :)

I like this tradition, wish I knew this earlier when I was felting. I lived in UK many years ago and that's where I ordered my wool from: www.winghamwoolwork.co.uk/ I think their prices weren't too bad :) Felting is great!

Zofia smith Hi Zofia, I’ve just looked on the Winghamwoolwork website and they have amazing wools for sale so thank you for posting their details! However I’m very new to felting and don’t know as yet a great deal about all of the wools available for this amazing craft so I wondered if you could help me please! Looking at the wool on their website it states they are mostly in balls of 50gm, now is that 50 grams? And can you describe what kind of size a 50gm ball of wool is like please, is it roughly the size of a tennis ball, bigger or smaller?! I literally haven’t a clue what I’d be buying and when you said you’d purchased from them I thought you’d have a better idea about their wool. I hope you don’t mind me asking you this but the more help I get at this stage the better haha😳x

I love Milo’s “bad” jokes, that’s what makes them funny. You are both very authentic and fun to watch, real people want real tutorials, not polished and perfect. I also agree with the previous comment please don’t worry about too much silence, listening to the actual stabbing process is really relaxing which makes the viewer feel calm rather than being bombarded with too much information at once which makes even the simplest project seem too hard. Please keep the videos coming, and how damn cute are these sleepy 🐭 mice, bring on world 🌍 peace ✌️😌

too squeakin cute...my first felting video..saw it on my feed and they are so sweet looking i had to watch. i used to use felt needles to put hair in dolls.. so i have some of the tools and the holes in my fingers already. Now this made me wanna make a wittle mousey. Hard to get any more cute than that.

Oh my. One of the neatest little projects to try. So adorable. (I cannot believe I just typed that word). I am absolutely a fan of the small, easy but wonderful, felting projects. Plus, we need more 'armatureless' projects. I keep poking my fingers with the wire. Thank you both. Sara, (Kyla) Milo. Very entertaining while learning felting.

I've been making little rats and If I just make the mouse faces a little longer and the ears a little farther back I can make baby rats for my fellow domesticated and dumbo rat enthusiasts. I love this tutorial; I've been having so much trouble figuring out how to do ears for my ratties! I just put myself on your waiting list for the sleeping mice pack; it is apparently sold out. I'm not surprised!
