This is just fabulous. Its like you read my mind. I have been trying to teach myself how to 2D needlefelt pictures. I was doing a landscape but this helps me understand what to place first in the picture and understand the use of yarn for trees and such. Do you think you might ever do a needle felted landscape? Thanks so much for these helpful tutorials.

Milo can you please do a tutorial on the hummingbird you can't show us a beautiful hummingbird picture and not do a tutorial on it!! That is one beautiful picture that has inspired me so please please please do it from start to finish
Can this type of felting be done on material such as cotton or canvas?

From what I've seen from other needle felting videos, you can do it on pretty much any material, specially canvas.
I wish you had shown the finished mouse up close before the video ended!
