Looks like Criterion took the feedback to heart, and we love to see it. I always liked Unbound, and I’m glad that it’s getting another year of updates.

Need for Speed Unbound is going to make a comeback like Cyberpunk

Ngl to you, I was done once I finished the campaign. I'm just burnt out on live service as a whole, sans one or two games. But still, I'm glad this game is getting another year of support. After Heat and then Unbound underperforming, I was worried that EA would just pull the emergency brake and kill off NFS as a whole.

Citerion will save the glory of the need for speed series

Since a load of NFS content creators (and you too probably lol) went to Criterion Games Guildford, I've been getting more hope about the future of Unbound's updates. And they seem to be bright! Can't wait for them to cook and for the updates to deliver, and Volume. 6 is coming in just 6 days! Can't wait! 👀 Keep up the great content CraptasticJack! I'm loving them ❤

Honestly this update features stuff it should have had at launch? Also it’s good they are taking feedback but they have taken loads before to no avail. I got 0 expectations but it’ll be nice if it’s good but honestly I don’t think the next nfs will be anything special lol

I Wish I went but I wasn't in Guildford lol. This update and roadmap got me super excited again for the future of the franchise tho.

I played Unbound, and I didn't like it. Main reason : the unstable car handling. On the final race It was so unpredictable(my car's rear would randomly lose all traction and slide me 180 degrees; my car would begin jumping on a straight road; I make a jump and my car would lose all gravity causing it to launch 350 miles into a wall, etc.), I got angry and uninstalled the game after finishing it. I really liked the animated tire smoke and nitro animations. But the physics. Man they need to redo them from the ground up.

Handling out of the box isn't that good, but once you get a good grip tune on your car it drives splendedly.

I don't know why but i feel like nfs is getting better now and ea and criterion have opened thier eyes and they finally know what us nfs fans want and need last time I was this excited was for paybacks updates 😂

I hope They can fix the headlights so when You put a coloured tint on it like red that makes the headlights light up red on the road and stuff. was a little bit disappointed on launch because this wasn’t done

We need someone to make an update on the engines man more accurate information about what the best engine for each car is. Please! This is so frustrating

The most frustrating thing to me is that even on relaxed difficutly it seems the same as the medium or hard setting..especally since im stuck on the third qualifer...and crash physics..if ur doing 50 mph and nick the side of the car..u will barrel roll like you were going 200 mph..ive been playing heat andpayback more due to the difficulty and crash physics and the handling model..that forces you to buy fully adjustable suspension ..to fully live tune your car..also the fact in unbound ..u have to pay to access upgraded garages for higher level parts..and still have to pay for said parts..after you upgraded your garage to access same same said parts..lol..heats upgrade system was far by leaps and bounds better....

They better not mess up

I’m mixed on this, it’s good they’re still supporting the current game despite the backlash. We don’t know when the next nfs is going to release so having this will hold some of us over at least. The downside is the lack of single player focus. Every update for unbound seems very multiplayer focused which is good short term but is going to kill the game long term(once the next nfs is released and beyond that). Also as someone with absolutely garbage internet it really is worrying. Hopefully the updates are decent but I’m holding my breath till they start releasing them.

Yeah that's a pretty good point. Hopefully with a new direction they add some of the MP Stuff such as the drag races and HP modes to Singleplayer too.

@@CraptasticJack I hope so, I think there’s room for it too. If they did a new game plus mode. That could be a very easy way to get people to replay the single player and experience anything new they add to it. Like the drag racing or the rumble racing from volume 2. I also want see them implement ways to unlock the multiplayer exclusive in unlocks in single player. Like the balmain emira, the deloreon, the taycan, the exclusive driving effects, and clothes.

the most important thing they still not making, the old gen port, it can run on heat engine with tone down effects, will be even better, and i dont played because of that, thanks to 3rd world economy (ps5 and pc now costs almost a year of salary if i dont expend with nothing), adn want to play and all, and only have a ps4 as the more modern thing really, have a lot of fun with heat, and seeying up close unbound, it can run it, really, the map of unbound it is even less bigger than heat

My only issue with Unbound is that the customization is ehhh, and also it’s hard to find a race because no one wants to join we should be able to race solo and make money a lot easier like we could in Heat those are my only issues with the game other than that it’s a solid game

I hope they add proper matchmaking lobbies so we don't have to get people in freeroam to join. Like Payback's or The Crew 1's PVP.

I like the game but I could do without the cartoonie animated stuff.

i think it doesn't matter how many time they update or include any content, need for speed franchise is just dead to me in general since a while, the need for speed vibe is just not there anymore, i just played like 30 hours, and it's just fking boring there is nothing to do, game is too easy, no feel of being rewarded whatsoever, in other words it's complete a$$, glad to have uninstalled this garbage game

@@CraptasticJack it's dead, not too hard to admit, noone talks about it, never seen any recommendation on youtube about an unbound video, even tho my youtube is full of car game related stuff, most of big content creator stopped making content about it 1+ year ago, an all time peak players of 15k for a triple A game being the legenday need for speed franchise, excuse me but i think you don't need to be out of harvard to analyze the case and be like yeah well shit need for speed is dead as a whole, and probably as of today, there might be what 2 - 3 k players playing as we speak ? so yeah yes, it is dead, you're delusional thinking it's not.

It doesn't matter what they do for this game. This game is the biggest piece of shit I've ever played, and it's just terrible to play.

Yeah the single player is terrible one of the worst I played but the multiplayer is good
